Zhang Hui Mei, or better known as A Mei, is returning to the Singapore Indoor Stadium for an Encore!

是的， 天后张惠妹又要来新加坡开唱了！ 就在10月4日， 室内体育馆。 这一次又将会是一场四面台的演出。虽然去年11月才刚刚看了她的演唱会， 老公和我还是很兴奋， 也很期待她再次的到来。能在短期内连续在新加坡这个小国开唱的歌手很少。 上一回是歌神张学友。 咦， 这么巧， 两位都姓张！

幸好今早买到了很好的位子！ :D :D

几天前，当我看到阿妹将再次到来开唱的报导时， 还真有点惊讶。 我还以为要再等上好一段日子才能再次看到天后的舞台魅力。 毕竟她不久前才刚刚结束了在日本的图兰朵（Turandot) 日语舞台剧的演出。共59场。

说到Puccini的图兰朵舞台剧，它今年也将会在新加坡滨海艺术中心公演六天 (8月29日至9月3日)。这里的演出将会采用意大利语， 并设英文和中文字幕。我们将会出席8月30日的那一场。 图兰朵公主将会由来自台湾的女高音陈兴安（Jessica Chen Hsing An）和南韩的Kim Young-Ae分别演出。

Puccini's Turandot will be staged at Esplanade-Theatres on the Bay, 29 August - 3 September, 2008.

今年的下半年还真有点热闹。 到目前为止， 已有5场演出要看了。:)

I am super excited for the 2nd leg of A*mei Zhang Hui Mei's Star Tour! This time the Taiwanese Pop Diva will be travelling to North America and Japan, and also Singapore (again)!! Tickets are already on sale for these performances, including the Singapore show, which started at 9 this morning! And of course, I have gotten my tickets already! Hopefully the A34 side will be the side she faces more often this time round (she faced the A15 side more last year, and thankfully I was on that side!). Oh yes, the concert will be held on 4th October (Sat) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium!

Anyway, I hope the setlist will be slightly altered this time round to make the show even more exciting, and probably her alter-ego thing, Amit, will show up as well, like what happened at the 19th Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan just a few weeks ago. This time I will try to take less pictures so that I can enjoy the concert even more, and also will bring more cash to get some of the tour merchandise!!!

For the North America leg of her tour, she will be performing at Harvey's Lake Tahoe/ Harveys Outdoor Arena on 19th July, and also River Rock Show Theatre on 22nd July. In Japan, she will be having shows in the ACT Theatre on 22nd and 23rd September!! I think the performances at these places will be spectacular!

Me encanta esta canción, con unos arreglos acústicos preciosos, de la cantante Taiwanesa  A-Mei que debutó en la música en 1996 y tras conseguir un montón de premios ha logrado ser tratada como una auténtica diva de la escena musical del Mandarin-pop.

She is really awesome!!! I mean which singer can be so versatile?! I want to fly to Japan to watch her sing in the Japanese Musical!!

Ok, I admit I wasn't excited about this collection...but the packaging is SO DIFFERENT from anything MAC has done that I can recall that I'm kind of excited about it.

A-Mei is one of the few singers who is actually aboriginal Taiwanese (basically, not ethnically Han). Of course, she still sings in Mandarin, because no one really understands the Formosan languages anymore.

I actually listened to the song before I figured out the translation of the track title, so I must admit that I was a bit surprised/taken aback. This song contrasts nicely with the other slower and more softer songs on the album.
