Hello and welcome to Fall 2008,

I have just posted the 2008 and 2009 Chrysler - Jeep Rebates & Financing Incentives for October 2008! This web log will show you the most current Chrysler and Jeep news. Chrysler moidifies their Rebates and Incentives as they perceive the need to make adjustments. Stay current as you begin your shopping so that you can make the most iformed decisions!

Get the RSS feed so that you can keep current with any mid stream adjustments as they happen! My name is Craig Dennis and I have been selling Chrysler and Jeep cars since 1997. My web log, ChryslerCraig's Web Log, contains all of the information that people have needed to make informed decisions. I dedicate my efforts to you, my past and future customers. Stay tuned as I get the low down on how these rebates effect the bottom line sale prices, or contact me to get a quote!

I hope that you find this information helpful. Let me know if you have any additional questions. I believe that this is the most current information on the internet, and one of the only places to actually get the information displayed here. There are many sites that come up on the search engines, but they merely use these search terms to get you to land on their page. Only to find that the information does not exist there, or it is from three months ago. This information is useless.

Hello, My name is Craig Dennis from Mick's North Hills Chrysler Jeep in Pittsburgh, Pa. I like to believe that Mick's Chrysler Jeep is the best place to do business in the entire Pittsburgh Tri-State Area! I have come to believe this because of the conversations that I have had with Quick Mick himself, plus I have admired the competency of the people that Quick has assembled around him. Most of all, Quick will always side with what is right no matter who is wrong! This has empowered me to be the best that I can be knowing that there is a man at the top who will sort things out and correct me when I need correcting.

Many people in the car business jump from one dealership to the next. There are many reasons that they claim to do this, but it usually boils down to the fact that they always think the grass is greener on the other hill side, or they can't hold a job. Quick Mick does not employ jumpers. Salesmen with stature exibit traits like honesty, truthfulness, competency, and commitment to excellence. I sincerely hope that you will stop by Mick's North Hills Chrysler Jeep and give me a chance to earn your business.

Taking luxury living to new heights from London to San Francisco, services once the preserve of privileged guests at the world’s most prestigious hotels are now featured in premier residential developments sited in elegant urban locations.

Today, this level of service and luxury comes to Singapore by way of The Boulevard Residences (BLVD). The BLVD is not only an assent to living well but a defining experience of consummate quality and style.

Tucked away from the bustle of Orchard Road, yet presiding over its skyline, the BLVD is a study in urbane sophistication. Two slender 36-storey towers linked by a sky bridge are clad in full-height glass curtain walls to provide uninterrupted views of the cityscape without. Boasting four super-luxurious penthouses, two with its very own swimming pool in the sky, and 42 dream apartments, every unit is accessed via a private elevator that takes the resident from a plush lobby directly to his haven.

From your oasis of calm, you can watch the bustling city below your lofty perch. Just across from this address, the best shopping experience of Orchard Road beckons. The world’s leading fashion labels and designer couture are within short reach when ever you need that special outfit for the evening. When your stomach yearns for the finest Chinese fare, the Four Seasons Hotel’s acclaimed Jiang Nan Chun restaurant is just a hop across Orchard Boulevard. Fine dining, movie theatres, the trendiest gymnasiums and spas are all within walking distance. The term ‘a good neighbour’ has never held such promise.

Inside the BLVD, life settles into contentment and tranquility. Space is not a luxury, but a given. Each apartment measures an average of 2,034 square feet and has living rooms that face only north or south directly. This obviates the intense heat and glare from the rising or setting sun while affording a panoramic view of the pulsating world outside.

Finesse is about the things big and small that escape your attention when the world around you comes together so well. With a prime address in the heart of the city comes with the attendant traffic noise and its cacophony. But you won’t notice any of it as you’d be above it all; BLVD apartments are thoughtfully built from the sixth storey upwards to set you apart from the elements that might distract you from living well. You’d also be ensconced in the comfort of its fully air-conditioned interior without ever seeing the vents or hear its murmur. You are blissfully unaware, left only to savour the splendid life.

A dip in the pool is no less a unique experience. Residents look over a canopy of trees to the city-spread below while lazing at the infinity edge of the 28-metre lap pool that is cantilevered outwards from the third storey. A fully-equipped gymnasium is located on a higher level at the sky terrace, providing the elevation for that perfect workout. Cooling breezes waft the sky terraces constantly, caressing you as you walk bare foot over the generous timber deck after a pilates session. Next to it, the viewing lounge and generous greens provide a lush sense of the tropics in the very heart of the city. And for those special occasions that demand a party, the lounge and outdoor timber-decked areas are the perfect venue to entertain your guests.

Well, almost nothing, I did lay around and watch Ghost Rider with Nick Cage... lame. I got a hot dog, picked up a friend at the airport and most importantly received a bag of squeeky cheese from Wisconsin from my friend for my airport driving duties.

This is my first bag of fresh cheese from Wisconsin and I think I'll go back just to get more. These delightfull little morcels of cheese curd squeek at their freshest. My curds did suffer a bit from air travel, but one can't complain about cheese curd perfection. lol.

My far more impressive event of the most relaxing 2008 Summer Weekend, was the nice little bike ride down town, arriving to people watch the Saturday Market. While I could have spent hours watching the lady with the loud moo-moo and the huge heart-shaped plastic rainbow earings try to put her pearl necklace on, the weak-assed Margarita from Voleur (although, I do strongly recommend their late night menu with the yummiest Mac & Cheese) sent me off to find better cocktails on the other side of the river. So by way of M's suggestion we made our way to La Carreta on McLaughlin, to find more satisifying Marg's for a whole lot less. The greatest thing about this stop was 2 fold: One, I have driven by this Mex restaruant for years, since birth, I swear, and not one single occasion brought me in. So that alone made the stop pretty greatthe bartender was also a ton of fun (look for a nice redhead) and they had this green warm verde dip for the chips that was super yumm!

This place has only opened for about a month and a half. I tried to look on City Search and Google, but no info. Here's the closest to an address I can can describe:

It's basically on Fourth Plain Blvd. before the Caples Post Office.

When you walk in, you can tell that they weren't done with the remodeling. The place lacked furniture and it looked like a temporary opration. From that point, we were pretty skeptical. When we looked at the menu, it was pretty different. The only "usuals" that they had were tacos and enchiladas. I always gauge a Mexican resturant by how good their chili relleno is, but I was kinda bummed that they didn't have it. All of us ordered the enchilada to play it safe, and it was delicious. They "special" rice with lime and cilantro is great: this comes with your meal... you get to chose between that or traditional Mexican rice. My fiance asked whether they had fried ice cream (even though it wasn't on their menu). To our surprise, they said yes! That was awesome! The service was good, but their menu might change if you decide to go. They said they're in the process of changing the menu to suit customer's taste better. I guess it's good that they survey their customers, though I find it slightly strange.

Overall: Honestly, every restaurant at that location hasn't lasted for more than a year. I really hope they're not like that because they're pretty good. If their food quality is as consistent as the time we went and they market their resturant well, then I think they will do good. I'm going to knock of a cheese becuase they're not quite consistent (yet).

Rating:

New SC Global building may have car showroom

By SAMUEL EE

A high-end car showroom could very well open its doors in the unlikely Newton area by year-end if SC Global Developments Ltd's plans zoom off.

The upmarket property developer has been marketing the ground floor of its soon-to-be-complete d Newton 200 office building as being suitable for showcasing an exclusive make of automobiles.

'Newton 200, with its vantage location and visibility to passing vehicular traffic, would make a great site for a car showroom,' explains an SC Global spokeswoman.

But she adds that while the mainboard-listed company is 'making the necessary provisions to cater for a potential car showroom, there is also extremely strong interest from other types of retail tenants attracted by the prominent space and location.

'We will be evaluating all the potential options and proposals,' she says. 'Therefore, it could end up being something else.'

Newton 200 is a nine-storey luxurious office building located at 200 Newton Road, beside the junction with Thomson Road. Directly linked to the nearby MRT station, it has an 'avant-garde floating glass box design' with an 'asymmetric prismatic facade' and 'faceted glass blades'. TOP (Temporary Occupation Permit) is in the fourth quarter of 2008.

As the plot size is relatively small, there will only be one 2,200 sq ft unit on the ground floor, while each of the seven office floors will be tenanted out on a floor by floor basis only. The rates are generally around $12 to $13 psf, according to the spokeswoman, who says they reflect the current market rates in that area.

SC Global decided that rental would be the most suitable option since selling the units on a floor by floor basis 'may compromise the overall concept of the building design'.

'We are also looking at the possibility of moving our offices into the building, so at this juncture it makes sense not to sell the units,' says the spokeswoman.

This is not the luxury property developer's first foray into the automotive arena. In March, it announced that it would field a car in this year's Porsche Carrera Cup Asia series and become the title sponsor of the Singapore round of the race.

As a result, the September event will be officially named 'Porsche SC Global Carrera Cup Asia - Singapore 2008' and run as an official support race to the inaugural 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix.

Newton 200 is SC Global's first commercial development. The developer is best known for its prime residential properties such as The Ladyhill, BLVD, The Tomlinson, Thr3e Thre3 Robin and The Lincoln Modern. Other projects include The Marq on Paterson Hill and Hilltops.

Most car showrooms in Singapore are located in the main Leng Kee Road motor belt and the Ubi industrial area. Although unusual, it will not be the first time that the Newton area will host a car showroom. Some years ago, there was a Volkswagen dealer in the shops along Thomson Road opposite Novena Church.

One high-end sports car distributor says the Newton 200 location is 'very nice' and suitable for an exclusive brand like his, 'which does not have to be in Leng Kee Road'.

'But with rental of about $30,000 a month, I have to think carefully before I decide to open a branch there,' he adds.

In case you're wondering why there have been two lanes of northbound traffic blocked off along Tucker (in front of the Globe Building and the new Washington Ave. Apartments) for months now, here's why:

The old Illinois Traction Railroad -- electric streetcar that connected St. Louis to Springfield, Peoria, Urbana and other Illinois cities via the McKinley Bridge -- ended at the Central Terminal (now Globe) Building, with the station in the basement. Florissant Avenue and part of Tucker Boulevard are actually elevated roadways over those tracks. The Illinois Traction line closed in 1953, but the rail line was used for deliveries of paper to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch through 2004. The city inherited maintenance responsibilities in 1953, and has been unable to keep the elevated roadway in good repair. Sections are in such bad shape that Tucker and Florissant are closed between Cass Avenue and Cole Street. The elevated section begins right in front of the Washington Avenue Apartments, where the city has closed outside lanes for safety.

So there you have it! Thanks to Michael Allen at KWMU for the scoop on that mystery.

............ ring ring ................... ring ring ................... ring ring .................
