However unintentional, the song brings to mind the strength of collective wealth and all of the values inherent in this ideal: honesty, trust, confidence, and mutual solidarity. With the markets in the shape that they're in now, the minds and hearts of investors and participants in the American economy have been depleted of these values. Additionally, it is the absence of these values in the leaders of the huge financial institutions that created this situation; indeed, the financial crisis was sparked by the presence of these contradictory values: dishonesty, mistrust, selfishness, and avarice.

Interestingly enough, in this concert, Busta repeatedly tells the crowd that the "Arab Money," dance is the dace they'll dance on November 4th. At first, I thought it might just be a coincidence and that he must have an album coming out on that day. But, his upcoming album isn't set to be released until December. Nevertheless, Busta is claiming that we will dance for money on Election Day. I don't want to be too presumptuous, but Busta has a certain amount of HOPE in his claim. He certainly has to, if he thinks that the next president will fix this situation that quickly. But, he does have a point, hope and inspiration are essential to the manifestation of the core values of collective growth and wealth.

Whats up, I was at the apartment watching college football and listening to De La Soul this past Friday when I thought it would be a good idea to create a 90s hip hop mixtape.  So look for it in the coming weeks.  Will definately feature artists like LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, Digable Planets, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Nas, Biggy, Jay-Z, A Tribe Called Quest, Common, Talib Kweli, Fresh Prince & DJ Jazzy Jeff, Nice & Smooth, & Bone Thugs off the top of my head.  Will be available for free.  This for all my hip hop heads out there who have a special affinity for 90s hip hop.

On the tech side, I have some software projects I am working on.  I am almost finished with the simple Tip Calculator for Android.  Will be working on some GPS for my Sony Ericsson W760i that allows one to use it as a GPS antenna.  The 2nd project is secret.

The publicity was impressive! the move was awe inspiring!! This was the first time an artiste would solely sponsor an event featuring an international act just to promote peace in the Niger Delta region and prove to the world that Nigeria - especially the Niger Delta area - was indeed safe for place for foreigners to visit.

Nigerians -especially residents in the Niger Delta region - had already secured their seats at the venue well in advance in high anticipation for the event. Unfortunately, the show was canceled!! Busta Rhymes refused to show up!!!

sources close to P Square disclosed that although Busta Rhymes was excited performing in Nigeria, the international rap star did not show up because he was not adequately paid.

Media reports suggest that an international booking agent called Miss Idono Edewor failed to pay Busta Rhymes the agreed advance payment even though p-square's management had fully disbursed the funds to her. Rather, she chose to hold on the the cash.

consequently, the event was canceled as the group were unwilling to compromise the groundbreaking event that was scheduled to hold at Grand Hotel in Asaba, Delta State. They honorably gave their fans a full N5000 refund per ticket sold.

we're not sure if this "misunderstanding' would affect the much talked about musical collaboration between P Square and Busta Rhymes, however sources close to p square suggest that efforts are being made to sort the mess created by the booking agent.it is not clear at the moment if legal action would be taken against her.

although P Square insisted on sticking to their promise of bringing Busta Rhymes  to the country, some loyal fans believe that they show should have taken place with or without the international rap act.

so, was it a smart move by P Square to cancel the show? how badly would it have affected their credibility? would the show would have been a blast even without Busta Rhymes? you tell me..

Here is a new track from John Legend from his upcoming album, Evolver featuring one of my favorite artists, Brandy. This track feels different to me, but in a good way. I see Brandy's influence on John Legend, by the way he switches up his harmonies. I dig their voices together, they complement each other very well. In an era where young people are less likely to be in church and more likely to be influenced by hustlers, rappers and movies like Scarface, things have changed.
