Peste cateva zile deci, voi fi intr-un golf pustiu cu nisip fin si cu stanci care plonjeaza abrupt in mare. Voi inota cu ochii deschsi sub apa, voi fuma si voi bea cafea in timp ce vantul imi va ridica prosopul de plaja, ma voi incapatana se refuz sezlonguri din dragoste pentru nisip, imi voi afunda mana in praful de scoici (da tot nisip dar era repetitie), voi inchiria un ATV si voi strabate toata insula, ma voi rataci prin paduri de maslini, voi dansa - nu in cluburi pentru ca daca nu prea plac in Romania nu cred sa ma fascineze acolo - voi incerca din nou sa fac scuba, voi cheltui o gramada de bani pe toate nimicurile si, ca de obicei, voi ramane leftera din a doua zi, voi face mii de fotografii, ma voi bronza pana la nesimtire, imi voi inchiria si o bicicleta cu care voi descoperi plaje ascunse... si tot asa.

Pfuuu... si toate astea doar cu Ane fara sa ma bata nimeni la cap... :)

To Corfu:
Easyjet is the quickest and cheapest way. The departure will be from London Gatwick (north terminal-so you will have to account at least for 10min extra) is very early at 6:35am.
The most convenient but expensive way to the airport at that time is " Gatwick express " from Victoria station.

To the harbour in Kerkyra/Corfu town:
You will land (with the most beautiful views) at Corfu's international airport I.Kapodistrias.
It is located approx 3km south of the Corfu Town city centre. If you want to spend more time on Corfu have a look here " Corfu guide ". If you want to travel to the mainland straight away you best take a taxi (ask the driver how much the fare is before you sit down!!! 2008 it was €10) ask them to bring you to the harbour where the ships leave to Igoumentisa. Don't worry they understand English-at least that much!

To Igoumentisa:
You will get your ferry ticket at the little hut's on the harbour. The friendly lady's speak English and the fare for pedestrians is €7. The ferry's I have seen take car's as well. There is a little kiosk on board were you can buy drinks and snacks. Enjoy the great view from the ferry! (don't forget to pick up a leaflet with the ferry timetable for your return!)

Corfu town from the ferry

A very nice restaurant in Corfu town, which we tryed on our way back. As it is not unlikely that you might have to pay €5 for a cup of cafe and €15 for a budget main course. Strangely this restaurant was not more expensive than average but had the most stunning views and good food. I is on the street corner of Arseniou/Kapodistriou. But you will notice it from the ferry already.

Pot spune ca a fost cel mai frumos concediu pe care l-am avut pana acum, desi am calatorit prin mai multe tari... Hotelul a fost peste asteptari :) , mancarea foarte buna, vremea la fel si cel mai important lucru, cred, am fost o "gasca" mare si ne-am inteles perfect :D .

Recomand tuturor celor care vor sa plece in Corfu, sau intr-o tara straina, acest hotel ;) . Ar mai fi multe de spus... dar cel mai bine e sa vedeti voi :D .

O sa urmeze si niste poze de aici, cand o sa le pun pe PC :P .

De villa heeft een goede ligging met een prachtig uitzicht op zee. 's ochtends lekker ontbijten op je balkonnetje terwijl je geniet van dit adembenemende uitzicht. Heerlijk tot rust komen op Corfu!

En wil je er lekker op uit dan bezoek je Corfu Stad op 12 km afstand. Winkelen, terrasje pakken of iets cultureels doen. Het kan in Corfu-stad.

Capitala insulei este orasul Corfu, care impresioneaza turistii prin doua fortarete, strazi inguste, case albe, inalte, arcade, cladirea salii venetiene, biserica Sf. Spiridon, patronul spiritual al insulei Corfu, gradini cu flori si balcoane cu garduri din fier forjat. Orasul este asezat pe coasta de est si este cel mai mare oras medieval din Grecia. Insula se intinde de la nordul Marii Ionice pana la intrarea Marii Adriatice si are 36 mile lungime si in partea de nord, 15 mile latime.

Am gasit si cele mai importante puncte de atractie pe care sper ca  o sa le vizitez :D :

Ca am terminat cu insula, sa spun si cateva cuvinte despre locul unde ne vom caza :D .

Vacanta o petrecem la hotelul Hotel Iberostar Kerkyra Golf 4*, situat in statiunea Alykes, chiar pe plaja. Detine doua restaurante, bar, pool bar, piscina, piscina pentru copii, teren de tenis, mini volley si mini fotbal. Camerele sunt dotate cu TV, telefon, minibar, incalzire centralizata, uscator de par, balcon/ terasa, aer conditionat.

Am gasit ceva poze si de la hotel, dar o sa revin cu poze facute de mine :D .

Plecarea va fi marti, 1 Iulie, cu avionul, din Cluj. Sosirea peste o saptamana :D !

Corfu was great!
The Greeks are so, so friendly.
Arillas is a lovely spot. A small, quiet and relaxing resort which was just what I was needing.

Thanks to Linda and Kate from England for allowing me to join them in the evenings for a meal and drinks. Lots of drinks I seem to remember!
Apologies to Steven for not letting you get into my panties.
If by some chance you are reading this - I WAS VERY TEMPTED! Sorry!
And in hindsight, I wish I had.

Now I'm back at work.
Glasgow seems so dull, almost depressing after Corfu.
It's as if someone has turned the brightness down, like you do on your TV.

I wish I was back in the sun.

I want to live by the sea.

Somebody rescue me.

ON MY OWN!
Slightly apprehensive about that, but I'm just going to read and lie in the sun. Never been on holiday by myself so I'm sure it will be an experience.

On another subject, I've heard through the grapevine that 'Him' has a new floosie. Also heard that she may have been on the scene prior to the break up. Now I'm trying to think back.
Were there any signs?
I try to comfort myself by saying 'It's his loss'.
I'm not being big-headed but I think I'm a nice person, fairly intelligent and quite attractive.
I know it's time to put him out of my mind and move on.

Anyway, Corfu beckons and who knows what else?
