それで、先日blogで「以前から尊敬しているアーティストさん（音楽系ではありません）のアトリエへ今から伺いますが、どなたかはまだ秘密です！」みたいな内容をを書いたのですが、みんな誰だと思ってた？
もうね、みんなに報告しないで黙ってるのはウズウズして、待ちきれないのでここでお知らせしちゃいますね！
今回の僕が尊敬するアーティストさんとは、人形作家の「恋月姫」さんでした！
とても有名な方なので、ファンならずとも知っている方も多いと思います。
僕は特別「人形」というものが好きなわけではないのですが、恋月姫さんの人形は"別格"で、瞳に「生と死」を同時に感じさせられ、すごく惹かれるものがあるのです。
前々から写真集を見たり、ファンの子からも掲載本を頂いたりしてて、ずっと素敵な表情と世界観のある人形を創られる方だなと思ってました。
そして今回、「アリス」をテーマに曲を書いていた時にふと脳裏に浮かび、その後頭から離れなかったのが、やはり恋月姫さんの人形だったのです。
お土産に薔薇の花束を持って、ドキドキしながらアトリエに伺わさせて頂いたのですが、とっても素敵な方でした！
おまけにお猫様もたくさん飼っていらっしゃるのです！！
お話もたくさんできて、すごく楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。
そして、なんと美麗なポストカード（この写真は少し前に展示会を行っていたときのヴァンパイアもチーフのものだと思います）を頂き、更に目の前で直筆サインを入れてもらい、僕はうきうきとしてしまいました！

ポストカードは今現在、黒い額縁に入れて、玄関にかざってあります。
そして、今回僕がアトリエへ伺ったのは他でもなく（無論個人的にもワクワクしていましたが（笑））、次回作「闇の国のアリス/波紋」のCDジャケットのお話をさせて頂くためでした。
かなり素敵になること間違いなしなので、みんな楽しみにしてて下さい！！

他にも今までじゃなかなかできなかったことが可能になって、より一層Ｄの世界が薔薇色に輝けそうです！

For those of you that don't know--and shame on you--the nineteenth hole here is not referencing the nearest pub to the course (of which, in Ocean City, there are none), but instead is talking about the final hole offered to players in a round a miniature golf. It is the bane of golf swings worldwide, a slender slab of faux grass and trite design aesthetics that lavishly promise any putter that sinks a hole-in-one a free game. But that doesn't happen. Not now, not ever. Go ahead and think of someone, anyone at all. Have they ever won a free game like so? I think nots. It is impossible to work the nineteenth hole's magic, and having people shout "Rejected!" at you only adds insult to injury. Still, I won...so neener neener neener.

Las abuelas con su incesante constancia en hacer que comas pues el hombre como el oso, cuanto mas gordo mas hermoso, como molan, cada una con sus cosas y esas cosas.

Ahora en Standby, o como se diga, a la espera de esperar noticias en medio del sin-tiempo, el estress postvacacional y la gente que realmente vale que echan un cable, sin pedir nada a cambio, como la navidad, luego igual piden unas cañicas, que muy a gusto ofreceré, otra cosa no será, pero de cañas si que sé.

El examen aprobado, ahora vienen las complicaciones subyacentes, o inherentes, o las que vienen después, que en mi impotencia me siento desbordado por la afluencia de manos tendidas, quiero mutar y tener mas brazos para cogerlas todas en un abrazo; no hay nada mejor que sentirse agradecido, en la emoción de saber que no caminas solo, sino realmente bien acompañado en tiempos tempestivos.

Pase lo que pase, que será o no lo que tenga que pasar, ya sabeis quienes teneis que daros por aludidos, no tiene precio lo que siento. Un abrazo muy grande, me siento en deuda, pero en deuda de la buena, de la que da gusto.

Formula DRIFT Announces Red Bull Drifting World Championship;

World’s Best Drifters to Compete for Largest Drifting Prize Purse

 

LONG BEACH, Calif. – July 11, 2008 – Formula DRIFT, North America’s premier drifting Sanctioning Body, has partnered with Red Bull Energy Drink, the world’s leading energy drink, to create one of the world’s most anticipated drifting events ever – the Red Bull Drifting World Championship. The event, which will feature 32 of the world’s best drifters, will be held on the docks at the Port of Long Beach, Calif., on Saturday, November 15, 2008.

 

The Red Bull Drifting World Championship will bring the best drifting drivers in the world together to compete in a single historic event. Drivers from the United States, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Europe and Canada will participate, but only one will claim the title of Red Bull Drifting World Champion. Current and past champions from the world’s top professional drifting series will receive an exclusive invitation to showcase their skills and compete for the largest drifting prize purse ever offered.

 

“Formula DRIFT has worked over the last five years to bring the drifting world closer together via our partnered events in Singapore and Mexico as well as our open door/open dialogue with the top professional drifting leagues from each corner of the world. We are excited to be able to team up with Red Bull to bring the world together and stage the toughest competition with the best drivers,” stated Jim Liaw, President/Co-Founder of Formula DRIFT.

 

The purpose-built course will include unprecedented features that will test the limits of the drivers and their cars such as a long straight to ensure triple-digit entry speeds, a big, sweeping first turn for high-speed drifting and multiple, technically challenging turns. Trackside viewing areas will allow spectators to get up close and personal with the competition.

 

“It is an exciting time for the sport of drifting. Red Bull is the leader for innovative sporting events worldwide and now drivers will be challenged like never before in a completely different environment than we’re used to,” said Rhys Millen, 2005 Formula DRIFT champion. “I’m proud to be flying the Red Bull colors heading into the Red Bull Drifting World Championship.”

 

Formula DRIFT, North America’s professional drifting championship series, will play the role of organizer, co-promoter, and sanctioning body for the World Championship event. Judging will be based on current Formula DRIFT rules and regulations with the possible addition of two international judges.

So 16 Formula D guys and 16 international drivers. I really hope Paul Vlasblom will be one of the drivers they will invite to take on the other drifters from around the world.
