They will participate in the telerecording of MBC Come to play on 20th August. With DaeSung participating in SBS Family Outing recently, the last time to see all 5 members on a variety program was during April where they participating in SBS Change.

After it was confirmed that Big Bang will be appearing on Come to Play, there has already been 1500 inquiries on the official site for Come To Play regarding their appearance. There has been a lot of interests on Big Bangs comeback appearance on variety programs.

Big Bang had their comeback stages on 16th and 17th August on MBC MusicCore and SBS Inkigayo.

And for their comeback 3rd album, the records sales has already exceeded 70,000 copies in just a weeks time. They are definitely back, taking the Korea music scene by storm.

Ohmy, Big Bang is really on a roll right now, new MVs and a new album. It feels like they are the only one I'm writing about these days, not that I have anything against it. (:
Even though I don't really like the song that much, it's fun that they try out new music styles. More rock influenced music goes for them as well, but I have to admit that I prefer their Hip Hop music.
But Anyway, G-Dragon and TOP looked great and the MV was fun to watch.

My 2nd post on Korean music, Big Bang has released their 3rd mini album "Stand Up". I have been taking notice of their music ever since they debuted with their first song “We Belong Together” and it was that song which took me into liking Big Bang.
They have been busy with their Japanese concert tour before so they went quiet for awhile and I’m so happy when I heard they are releasing another mini album.

Big Bang “Stand Up” consists of 6 new tracks and this time TOP has participated in composing 2 songs.

Track 01. Stand Up
Big Bang always have these intro songs and I always enjoy them. This is not much difference from their other intro songs, lyric still has “Big Bang” in it.

Track02. Haru Haru (Day After Day)
This song is very Big Bang style something like “Lies” starting with the piano and G-Dragon whisperings then it proceeds to an upbeat tempo and rapping comes afterward.
What I really like about this song is the rapping in the first verse of TOP and G-Dragon, it’s like they are having an conversation.
It’s a great song that resembles Big Bang’s style.

Track03. Cheongook (Heaven)
This song is only so-so for me, out of the whole song I only like the 2nd verse and the rapping. Nothing really impressed me from this song.

Track04. Chakhan Saram (A Good Man)
This is the song that TOP took part in composing, it started off with the guitar and then process to an upbeat tempo. I’m not sure whether if I really do like this song but I’m sure of that I really enjoy the rapping parts done by G-Dragon and TOP.

Track05. Lady
The intro beat was really good and then it suddenly changes into like a happy beat song which is something different from the usual Big Bang style. It’s great for them to have something like this as people might be sick of the usual beat Big Bang has. They need something happy.

Track06. OH MY FRIEND
When I first listen to this song I was like “Am I listening to another band?” because this is not Big Bang style, it’s a pop rockish song. And when the part “Oh My Friend” comes up immediately I think of this group No Brain as I heard a similar song from them from Lee Jun Ki’s SPRIS CF.
The I looked at the composer it’s done by No Brain Lee Sung Woo, this explains everything.
The song is okay but while I’m listening to it it doesn’t feel like I’m listening to Big Bang, like I’m listening to some sort of pop rock band.

Overall I'm a little bit disappointed in this mini album I was thinking it should be greater than the previous mini album Hot Issue. It's great to see Big Bang is trying something new but maybe it's not successful to me. My favorite song in the whole mini album would have to be Haru Haru as it's closer to the original Big Bang style.

Big Bang DaeSung will be following the rest of the members to Japan for the promotion of their Japanese single “With You”.

They will be having a fan meeting cum promotion for the single on 11th August. But DaeSung did not depart for Japan on the same day as the rest of the members and stayed back in Seoul.

The reason being that there will be filming for “Family Outing” which DaeSung has a part in on 11th and 12th August. Hence DaeSung will join back Big Bang 1 day later.

Big Bang had their comeback stage on 10th August on SBS Inkigayo after their new minialbum “Stand Up” was released on 8th August. And for DaeSung who will be doing both music promotional activities and on activities on variety shows will be put on a busy schedule.

When asked about how he felt having to juggle both Big Bang activities and his own on variety show, he said easily, “I just go for it with the feeling that I am going to have fun doing the activities.”

Big Bang will be in Japan Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya for promoting their new Japanese single. And will be returning back to Korea on 15th August.

Hehe me and a bunch of other people on BBchat were counting down for this for like 4 hours, it was hilarious 'cause right befire Inkigayo was this k-drama which we did not get at all so we were all getting annoyed at that and then came the news so we're all freaking out and wondering if it got pushed back and then FINALLY came Inkigayo but then there were a bunch of performances by like Battle and Kara and Zi-A and other people and at the end, FINALLY, the moment we'd all been waiting for. And I loved every second of it (even though I was lagging behind everyone else XD).

DaeSung: His new hair is so cool. It's like orange and black and there's that whole emo flap thing which is so hot. =D The red hat is awesome! ><
TaeYang: Always looks insanely good, it's crazy, and the piano part? <3 Ah, I don't have a lot to write about the boy but you guys know what I mean.
SeungRi: I love how he stays simple and adorable but has the whole mature thing going on too. I like his style, the t-shirt with the sleeveless vest on top, so indie.
TOP: Looks so fresh with his hair cut, I love the oven mits XD And how he throws one into the crowd. That's definately going to be the new TOP action. [Previous TOP actions including the finger twirling during his Lies solo 'jumoni soge gogi gogi~' and his Last Farewell solo when he kneels down, tilts his head to the right and twitches his hand in front of him]
G-Dragon: You are one strange little boy. XD I usually don't like the most popular person of the group but I think it's a fact that Kwon Leadah has the largest fan base. So it felt kind of weird being mainstream for once but this performance totally made me love him more. He's so unique, with the new moehawk-hair thing that I've never seen on anyone before XD and then funky glasses in the beginning AND THE EYELINER. It's so inspiring to see someone who wants to be different and has the guts to be it.

Haru Haru is gonna be the next big hit, I tell you. And I love Oh My Friend 'cause rock music is definately my thing.

It's finally out, Big Bang's 3rd Mini Album Stand Up! I'm sure that I wasn't the only one waiting for it, but it sure was worth the wait! I really liked the song, the rapping parts were great and I loved the piano melody in the beginning. I think I'm in love with the song! *__*
And the MV, RAWR! They all looked incredible hot. Even if it was very dark which made them all looked a bit depressed. But still, the black-ish theme seriously made them all look SOO MUCH hotter. And poor G-Dragon. ;__; <3

:O ITS LIKE WHY HAVEN'T I SEEN THIS BEFORE?! Maybe I was too caught up in Super Junior that I almost ignored Big Bang! I DIDN'T KNOW THAT SEUNGRI COULD PLAY PIANO! I loveeeeeeee him even more so now. And Daesung vocals are really beautiful here. OMO! At 1:59. at the bottom left corner of the screen you see a TV with lyrics? Is that how they never forget their lyrics? LOL! JK, I'm not sure since it is kinda blury. But really in the beinging did you see Seungri? He was like oh, what is this? And TA DA! An awesome piano! It was soo pretty! I wish I can play.. YB is so darn hot!! He's solo concert in Seoul Melon AX  last 20th of July was a huge success!! TaeYang released his solo album “Hot”  and many girls are going crazy at him especially me! haha!! "sigh" I wish I could meet Tae-Yang...he's so hot like T.O.P and the rest of his fellow BIG BANG members. More success to Big Bang!! YG Entertainment said "Daesung got casted in for the character "Rum Tum Tugger" in 25th.

Also they said, "Daesung received an evaluation that he has bright and positive personality and singing ability to show that character's personality to a satisfaction" and added that "he got the best score in audition because of his great talent."

"Cats" is a famous musical showed in 30 countries and with about 65,000,000 audiences in 1981. "Cats" received a lot of love by audiences because the musical shows about 'life' in figurative way with cats with different personalities, and performs with splendid choreography and music, and fantastic performance. This Korean performance will be big meaning for performance because this will be the 15th different language and original production and Korean casts will work together.

The character "Rum Tum Tugger" that Daesung will perform is the most popular character in audiences and between cats as well.

Daesung will continue being active and busy from his schedule with his trot single "Look at Me, Guisoon"

This Korean Musical will start rehearsing in July and first opening will be performed in September 19th at Charlotte Theatre.
