Fiction.
It is what Barack Obama is best at.
His life story… fiction. His record… fi

Fiction.

It is what Barack Obama is best at.

His life story... fiction. His record... fiction. And donors and voter registrations... fiction.

Obama's father was not just a "goat farmer." Obama Sr's father was a major landowner in Kenya, incredibly wealthy and very powerful. Grandpa Hussein Obama's (from whom Obama Jr gets his middle name) wealth and power is why Obama Sr. was awarded the scholarship to an American University. Sr eventually became a Harvard educated economist who became a part of the Kenyatta regime in Kenya, one of the most brutal governments in modern history.

Obama did not grow up poor. His grand parents were upper middle class, Obama Sr was very well off, Lolo Sotero was VERY wealthy and Obama attended the best Prep School in Hawaii, followed by the crown jewels of the American university system.

Michelle did not grow up poor. She grew up in a middle class neighborhood and while it was on the Southern end of Chicago, it was most certainly not the projects. She had a very nice home in a middle class working neighborhood.

Obama was not born as a result of Selma or the Kennedy Airlift. The Kennedy Airlift that Obama claimed brought his father to the United States started a year after his father arrived in Hawaii. Selma happened years after Obama was born.

Obama has never published anything except for 1 unsigned and heavily edited note in the Harvard Law review and 2 autobiographies... a nearly impossible feat for anyone who claimd to have been in Academia and a "constitutional law professor."

Obama's status as having graduated "Magna Cum Laude" is not that stupendous... Unlike most schools, where MCL's comprise the top 10% of graduates, at Harvard... it's the top 20%. That means that with an average graduating class of 600 or so out of Harvard, he could have been #120. And hell, you get Cum Laude at Harvard if you are in the top 50%.

Obama was not the first African American editor of the Harvard Law Review... there were two others before him. There are also many many editors of the Harvard Law Review each year, not to mention the fact that at the time, you did not become an editor at the Harvard Law Review because of grades or accomplishments. He was given the title "editor" of the HLR because he won a writing contest.

No one knows what Obama's grades were like. He has not released his school records. He has had nothing published. Classmates at Columbia don't even remember him and he didn't even appear in the yearbook.

During his years as a "community organizer" he accomplished basically nothing. He had 2 accomplishments in total. He got people sign a petition to open up a summer jobs office for teens on the Southside of Chicago as a supplement to the on that was located downtown, and he had people sign another petition to have the city remove asbestos from a building. In both instances, the city gave in immediately. Other than that, Obama taught "get out the vote" classes to ACORN volunteers. Yes... ACORN.

Obama pretends that he was a one man legislating machine while in the Illinois Senate. Obama did not pass one bill for his first 5 years in office. He only started passing legislation when the head of the legislature took him under his wing and literally put Obama's name on bills the day of the vote.

Obama claims to be an agent of change and yet in Illinois he funneled money to supporters and family members, cozied up to political fixers, had his own questionable real estate deals, knocked opponents off ballots thru shady and less than honorable means, made friends with questionable people, smeared opponents with the dirtiest of political moves, "borrowed" speeches from peers, and has accepted millions of lobbyist money... especially from the banks, wall street and fannie mae/freddie mac.

Obama claims to have been against the Iraq war all along and that proves his superior judgement. While it is true that he said he was against the war, he said it once and only once... at an anti-war rally, to a largely middle eastern crowd, while running for office. He then changed his stance for the following couple of years... basically, until running for President. (As for his judgement... where was the judgement when he opposed McCain's calls for reforming Fannie and Freddie or when he said that "the surge" would never work?)

Obama claims that the reason for his massive fund raising is because of millions of different people have been making small donations, and yet we are finding out now that there are HUGE irregularities in Obama's fundraising with ficticious donors making multiple donations, donors from other countries, and a tremendous amount of unnamed donors. (McCain on the other hand has every donor to his campaign in public record, even the small donors he doesnt have to disclose.)

Obama claims that he is the spark that has brought millions of new voters into the fold, and yet as we are finding out that Obama and his buddies in ACORN (whom he hired and paid nearly a million dollars for get out the vote work) have registered legions of ficticious voters... dogs, cats, dead people... one guy was even bribed and registered to vote 72 times... ACORN workers have traded crack cocaine for registration cards, and now Indianapolis has more people registered to vote than people over the age of 18.

Obama has distanced himself from his poker buddies, church, pastor, several mentors, friends, co-workers, associates, neighbors, supporters, fundraisers, former employers and more... Does he have any friends he has not distanced himself from?

When Obama says that his number one goal is to get the US out of Iraq as soon as possible, it is fiction. Obama went so far as to try to convince the Iraqi government against making a deal with Bush on getting the US out of Iraq. Let's repeat... for political advantage, Obama wants the US and Iraq to wait before they make a deal to get troops out. Obama wants to WAIT on troop removal. Seriously. Bush and Iraq said... lets make a deal, but Obama said, hold on...lets wait a few months.

Obama has promised to fight for the little guy and that he is the only one that we can trust to change this country, and yet he has yet to keep a campaign promise. From FISA to Campaign Financing, he has thrown every promise he has made under the bus. He has even basically telegraphed that he isn't gonna deliver on any of his promises.

Obama has said he wants to move past race and yet all of his congressional supporters are smearing John McCain, a man with a Bangladeshi daughter, with accusations of racism. The celebrity supporters are out of control with comparisons to Hitler and hinting that McCain is somehow the cause of African starvation. These accusations are disgusting and revolting.

And the list goes on... Is there anything real about this guy?

Fiction. It's what Obama is best at and he is rewriting his story every day just to get elected.

Fellow stache supporters, I'm proud to announce that this year will be growing for Donors Choose, a fantastic charity that will keep our funds local while allowing individual growers to determine where their hard won donations will go. Here's a little blurb about them:

"DonorsChoose.org was born in the teachers' lunchroom of a Bronx public high school where Charles Best, our founder, taught social studies for five years. He and his fellow teachers were spending lots of their own money on basic supplies but still seeing their students go without the books, art supplies, field trips, and other resources needed for a rigorous education. So they started a nonprofit website where any public school teacher can post a resource request for their students, and donors from all walks of life can choose the projects they want to support.
Teachers' requests range from basic stuff like "Dictionaries for my Classroom" ($200) to really imaginative ideas like "Therapeutic Horseback Riding for my Disabled Students" ($800). Check out our search page and you can see that there are lots of live requests in your communities and/or projects that match a personal interest, like yoga, baseball, autism, or Dr. Seuss.
Your mustache sponsors can give as little as $5 to the classroom project of their choice, and 100% of their donations go to the projects. Then they get a thank-you letter and photographs from the students and teacher they (and YOU) supported!"

If that isn't enough for you, check out the site at DonorsChoose.org. If you do, you my notice a small button in the upper right corner that Mustches for Kids '08. That's right, Donors Choose is all over this hairy fundraiser like beer foam on a sweet stache.

HAINES CITY, FL (Oct. 11, 2008) -- American Red Cross volunteers went out Saturday to help a local family in need.

At noon on Saturday, Oct. 11, two volunteers with the Polk County Chapter helped a couple on Bradbury Road in Haines City whose home was damaged by fire. They provided the two adults with temporary shelter, emergency assistance for groceries and clothing, landlord verification forms to assist in relocation, Red Cross Ride for the Red T-shirts, and a teddy bear to comfort them.

Since the beginning of July this year, the American Red Cross Polk County Chapter has helped more than 40 families after small local disasters -- roughly one family every two days. The American Red Cross provides immediate emergency assistance based on need, thanks to donations from people in the local community. Each local chapter has a Disaster Action Team of volunteers taking turns to go out on fire calls at any time of the day or night to ensure that those who need American Red Cross help can get it as soon as possible.

Home fires are still the most common local disaster for Red Cross volunteers. The American Red Cross asks every family to include fire prevention in their disaster plans by using extra caution around any open flame, cooking surface, electrical appliance, or flammable-fuel appliance. Look for information on preventing home fires at http://polkcountyfl.redcross.org, or visit the main office at 147 Avenue A, NW, in Winter Haven. To make a monetary contribution, please call your local American Red Cross Polk County Chapter at (863) 294-5941.

ok so with all this election stuff going on it's really hard to avoid it . . . but as an American you shouldn't really avoid it . . . you should research it and vote responsibly . . .

so vinny and i were talking about obama last night, and she said when she was flying in that people were using Nobama's middle name when referring to him . . . and everyone knows his name is Hussein. Then she heard a guy say why is everyone using his middle name they are just being racist blah blah blah since when is using someone's middle name? it's not our fault that his name is so closely linked to two of America's biggest enemies . . . Barack Hussein Nobama and Biden . . . if that's not a sign to stear clear, i don't know what is.

Also, Nobama has more donations than anyone ever . . . how many decisions if he is in the white house do you really think will be his? Will he be able to make any of his own decisions or will four years be too short of a time to fulfill all the favors he owes donors to his campaign . . .

just a thought . . .

Thank you all for praying and for your encouraging words to me. One of my dearest friends died today

Thank you all for praying and for your encouraging words to me. One of my dearest friends died today and it's really thrown me a curve. There will be a memorial service for him on Monday, October 13th in Mobile, Alabama. I'm not sure when or where, but I'll be there to grieve my friend. I think it's important to grieve, not as those without hope, but as one who has hope in Christ.

I Thessalonians 4:13-14 says: "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep."** Those who are "asleep" are meant to be those who are physically dead.

My hope is only in Christ. I only trust Him to resurrect me from the dead when I die just as He was resurrected from the dead by the Father when He died on the cross and was buried in the tomb.

**The Holy Bible: English standard version. 2001 (electronic ed.). Good News Publishers: Wheaton.

One bit of good news from all of this is that I have re-acquainted with some of my closest friends from the last 25 years. Many of them I've not spoken to in over 10 years, I'm ashamed to say. Everette brought us back together and I plan to stay in touch with them.

A final note - Everette was an organ donor. Because he was so young, some of his organs were very strong and will end up helping many people. God is redemptive meaning He brings good from bad situations.

-Mark (grieving my own sin but recognizing that I'm forgiven in Christ because Jesus is Lord)

By in vitro fertilization that is, and did I mention they were all lesbians? Wow, he must be a hands on kinda guy, you know grab it by the head and choke it. The generous donations have raised concerns over possible incest issues for the city of Adelaide. It's highly possible that these children may intermix and problems may occur in the future. A few things to note. If his sperm was selected by 30 women, this says something about the women. They are all seeking the same kind of features for their children. I'm guessing the donor was tall, an athlete, and probably good looking. What does this say about the donor? Is he single, married? Why would he 'give' so often? Is the money really worth it? Now that I think of it, he's probably some poor bastard trying to earn a few extra bucks.

Why doesn't the clinic restrict the number of times someone donates and how often his sperm is used. This would prevent any chance of possible interbreeding. Guess the government should regulate this industry.

Grand total from Mid-Florida Region new reaches 100

ORLANDO - Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 -- Another 21 Red Cross volunteers will join the relief efforts in Texas today.
Today, 21 Red Cross volunteers, most of them trained from Althera Staffing in Lakeland, took off from Orlando Airport at 1:15 p.m. They completed an intensive training this week to serve as Red Cross sheltering, feeding, and bulk distribution volunteers alongside a half-dozen current volunteers from the Polk County Chapter who also deployed today.
The local Red Cross drove them together on a bus to the airport to make their flight. Red Cross volunteers and staff were on hand to wish them well.
The grand total of volunteers deployed to help victims of Hurricane Ike from the Mid-Florida Region is now 100. This includes volunteers from the Polk County Chapter and 8 from Central Florida which have left over the past 18 days. The Mid-Florida Region includes the Central Florida, Coast to Coast, Polk County and Space Coast Chapters.
The American Red Cross is still sheltering more than 1,600 people in nine shelters. More than 2,500 Red Cross disaster workers and volunteers from around the country are on the ground to assist in the recovery.

As a follow up to the information I provided in my earlier post about the FEC complain the RNC has filed against the Obama campaign for illegal fundraising, here comes CBS with new information on new illegal and unidentified donors!

CBS News has learned that two donors to the Obama campaign that gave a total of $7,722 appear to have made their contributions under fake names that look like they were written by a mouse running across a keyboard: Dahsudhu Hdusahfd of Df, Hawaii with the following employer CZXVC/ZXVZXV and Uadhshgu Hduadh listed as living in Dhff, Florida listed their employer as DASADA/SAFASF.

CBS News did not find any records of these last names, towns or employers anywhere else. Newsweek reported two questionable Obama donors over the weekend named “Doodad Pro” and “Good Will”.

Contributions from the two donors Hdusahfd and Hduadh were made on the same day starting on July 16, 2008. Federal Election Commission (FEC) records show the campaign began refunding the donations as early as August 6, 2008.

Despite numerous refunds from the Obama campaign, Hdusahfd still has a record of giving a total of $7500 to Obama which is well over the legal limit for the primary and general election of $4600.

Because the Obama campaign did not have any checks or security verification questions on their websites to guarantee that the donors were eligible US citizens, the suspicion is that many of these donors are foreign nationals.

On the donation screen, the address section provided a drop down for donors to choose between all of the countries currently admitted to the United Nations.

This stands in stark contrast to the fundraising efforts of both Hillary Clinton and John McCain who require that a donor in a foreign country fax in a copy of their passports to prove that they were eligible to donate.

The Obama campaign took no such precautions. Not even close.

Up to half of Obama's fundraising to date has come from so called "small donors" who, under current FEC law, do not have to disclose their personal information or have to be indentified by the campaign. The only reason that some of these irregularities are being caught is because the small donors are donating a totality of large amounts, but in small increments.

As I showed in my previous post, more than a few even listed their addresses in places like Iran, Gaza, Syria, UK, and the like.

Who are these donors named "dasuiohjehnhreiawhio?" Where are they from if not "diashklne?"

We may never know.

In September, Steve Ferkau over at Revive Hope posted about Chicago heart transplant recipient, Melissa. She received her new heart in 2007 from a little girl named Chloe. Steve asked Melissa to write a letter to Chloe to express what she would tell Chloe if she were alive today.

Melissa was kind enough to allow us to share this amazing, touching letter as the next chapter of our Illinois Donor Diaries. Be sure to visit Revive Hope regularly to read more from Melissa and also check out her personal story on how she came to need a transplant.

Thanks Melissa!

The beams of the hot Midwestern sun warm me from the inside in June, the month of my birth, my new life and the time in which my deepest questions were answered.

It was June 10, 2008 when I first heard from your family, nearly one year from the date of your passing. Your mom said she felt it was time to write me, although she had tried before and couldn't get the words out, her emotions blocking the way. For some reason that I can't recall now, I went home on my lunch break from work and naturally, I checked the mail. I never expected to hear from your family, following my initial letter to them. After all, they have faced the most difficult thing in life in losing you.

While your gift is my greatest joy, it's at the expense of their deepest sorrow. Chloe, please know how proud they are of you. It seems that you had many friends and were surrounded by real love, a deep love that filled your heart. And today, you still have all of those things through me.

With shaky hands and a sense of peace, I pulled the letter from the linen envelope and out fell an Origami bird. Memories of my childhood bird watching days with my grammie and grandpa flashed through my mind. Though I was sure that this was by far, the most beautiful bird I had seen. It was made from delicate paper and the words inside were even more telling. Open-hearted. That's how one of your friends, who made this bird for your mom described you. I imagined one hundred little birds from your many friends inside a box for her safekeeping. One day she'll read them and smile at the thought of you. Like I do every day.

When I'm dancing at a party, playing golf, making brownies, hugging my husband or just checking the mail, you are there. Your heart is my new healthy gem that brought me from my deepest, sickest day to this moment. I'm more alive than I have ever been and forever I will be grateful for your gift, which represents the highest level of compassion for others. Chloe, I cherish and honor you for giving me back the years that I lost since heart disease plagued me when I was 14 years old. That's how old you were, just 14 - forever young. No wonder you were a perfect match for me. Until we meet again because there is so much I want to tell you...

With admiration and love - your heart recipient,

The smug grin has left my face this morning…unfortunately. My temperature dropped–yeah

The smug grin has left my face this morning...unfortunately. My temperature dropped--yeah instead of rising as I had expected--it dropped.

Now, I did develop a cold sore last night from the excessive amounts of pineapple (to help the peapod stick). I also only slept for 5 hours and got up extremely early (5:30am compared to my usual 7:30am) because of M's crazy week of work. I did the Temperature Corrector on Fertility Friend and it seemed to "correct" the problem and it looks like I'm actually on track. It's hard to chart so meticulously when you're staying up all hours of the night, howling at the moon and inseminating at 4am!

But I gotta say, it was really hard to choke down the vitex tincture this morning and the multivitamin made me sick--now (a few hours later) I feel like I have major heartburn coming on from the vitamin + banana combo. I love bananas. They are probably my most favorite raw food, but today...I really had trouble eating it. M thought maybe it was just my toothpaste mixing, but something just didn't taste right. And now heartburn? I have never developed heartburn this time of day. And strangely, despite the heartburn, I'm really hungry. But on the other hand, the "cramps" seem to have subsided. M thinks that was just caused from the seminal fluid in my cervix. She's usually right...being the witch doctor that she is.

Hopefully today's temperature was just a fluke. The weather has been completely crazy for my sleeping. I either have the window open with nothing but a sheet, or bundled up in sweatpants or then the next night I sleep naked, all the windows closed and a heavy blanket! WTF! Every night has been different for the past 2 weeks.

Oh well, I promised that I wouldn't freak out and worry myself stupid. So instead...I'll focus on the good:

Gettin' Warmer: Colombian Glow
Taken at high resolution in candlelight. I'm gonna have a HUGE PRINT made for our studio work space.

*Added: I forgot to mention that EVERYONE had something to say about my appearance today. I like your glasses (had them for over a year); Did you get a haircut?? (I desperately need a haircut); and even Mariela said that I looked different! WTF?

I feel absolutely ridiculously pregnant today. I know that sounds completely ridiculous and silly

I feel absolutely ridiculously pregnant today. I know that sounds completely ridiculous and silly...but I just know my body so well that something is definitely "strange"...perhaps its just because I have someone else's DNA inside of my cervix! Oooooh! Regardless I woke up with strange feelings...

We burned and fused together sometime around 4am. Mariela was absolutely perfect. And I certainly had had my doubts. She's a mess. I was terrified that something horrible--some kind of crazy accident would screw things up. But she was like an alternative insemination pro...It was quite an intense night, to say the least. She's my hero...when it all boils down. She warmed the vial between her tits and that was about the hottest thing I've ever seen...

We spent the day walking to and around the Center on Halstead (a new gay neighborhood resource center in Boystown) and the gay thrift store across the street. The Center is really incredible. I wanted to go to every single senior's class, and then M pointed out that they were for seniors. Oh well, I could knit with some old ladies, what do I care! Why should they! The gay play date room for tots was a little small and disappointing, but perhaps it a good way just to meet other "gabies" and parents and then play somewhere else. Anyway, it was just nice to be outside in the sunshine together. I wanted to have sex in the school playground during our walk back home...so I guess I'm still "fertile". Ha!

I'm still egg whitey so we're getting ready for AI #2! I'm also feeling extremely creative and actually tackled a new painting without any hesitation. It usually takes me a lot longer to build up to a whole new painting. I'll have all day tomorrow alone unfortunately, so maybe I'll be able to better write out my thoughts of how I feel...just weird... :-D

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A coalition of Spanish-language media and community organizations kicked off a massive voter registration drive Thursday, aiming to register nearly one million Hispanic voters...

"This effort will not only put voter registration forms in the hands on Latinos, but also may help shape the political landscape," said Janet Murgia, president and CEO of National Council of La Raza...

The campaign's print media partner, impreMedia, will insert 990,500 voter registration cards into its publications between Friday and Monday in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, New York, and Texas.

Community organizers will follow up with information on how to register and why it's important to vote. Their message will be reinforced by television and radio spots by media giant Univision Communication and Entravision Communications.

Hispanics traditionally have leaned Democratic, but organizers emphasized this effort was nonpartisan and intended only to increase civic participation and make the Hispanic voice heard on issues that matter most to them: the economy, education and immigration reform.

"This is neither a pro-Democratic or a pro-Republican effort," said Mike Fernandez, Vice President of Public Affairs, State Farm Insurance Companies, which helped fund the campaign." "It's pro-voting, and pro-American."

Let's start with La Raza (in English, "The Race") and Janet Murgia. As La Raza found from their own study back in 2006:

Latino voters indicate they will support Democratic candidates by three to one this year. While most say their vote is in favor of the Democrat rather than in opposition to the Republican, almost twice as many say their vote is an expression of opposition when the President is mentioned, and it is clear that Bush was a factor for voting Democratic in this year’s elections.

Sixty percent of Latinos indicate they will support the Democratic candidate this election, while 22% will vote Republican, which tracks closely with respondents' party identification (63% Democrat/20% Republican). The vote is roughly the same among younger Latinos (57% Democrat to 20% Republican), also closely matching their party identification (55% Democrat/23% Republican).

So La Raza knows that any Latino voter drive will heavily benefit Democrats. It's especially no surprise when you consider that its CEO, Janet Murgia, is a Democrat through and through. According to her work history, she worked in the White House under President Clinton and then served as Al Gore's Deputy Campaign Manager in 2000 before joining La Raza in 2003.

And who is this Mike Fernandez, whose State Farm Insurance is bankrolling this push for new Democratic voters? None other than a maxed out donor to the Barack Obama campaign.

What does La Raza stand for? A Michelle Malkin column from July lists everything you need to know:

15. “The Race” supports driver’s licenses for illegal aliens.

14.”The Race” demands in-state tuition discounts for illegal alien students that are not available to law-abiding U.S. citizens and law-abiding legal immigrants.

13. “The Race” vehemently opposes cooperative immigration enforcement efforts between local, state, and federal authorities.

12. “The Race” opposes a secure fence on the southern border.

11. “The Race” joined the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in a failed lawsuit attempt to prevent the feds from entering immigration information into a key national crime database — and to prevent local police officers from accessing the data.

10. “The Race” opposed the state of Oklahoma’s tough immigration-enforcement-first laws, which cut off welfare to illegal aliens, put teeth in employer sanctions, and strengthened local-federal cooperation and information sharing.

9. “The Race” joined other open-borders, anti-assimilationists and sued to prevent Proposition 227, California’s bilingual education reform ballot initiative, from becoming law.

8. “The Race” bitterly protested common-sense voter ID provisions as an “absolute disgrace.”

7. “The Race” has consistently opposed post-9/11 national security measures at every turn.

6. Former “Race” president Raul Yzaguirre, Hillary Clinton’s Hispanic outreach adviser, said this: “U.S. English is to Hispanics as the Ku Klux Klan is to blacks.” He was referring to U.S. English, the nation’s oldest, largest citizens’ action group dedicated to preserving the unifying role of the English language in the United States. “The Race” also pioneered Orwellian open-borders Newspeak and advised the Mexican government on how to lobby for illegal alien amnesty while avoiding the terms “illegal” and “amnesty.”

5. “The Race” gives mainstream cover to a poisonous subset of ideological satellites, led by Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA). The late GOP Rep. Charlie Norwood rightly characterized the organization as “a radical racist group . . . one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.”

4. “The Race” is currently leading a smear campaign against staunch immigration-enforcement leaders and has called for TV and cable news networks to keep immigration enforcement proponents off the airwaves — in addition to pushing for Fairness Doctrine policies to shut up their foes. The New York Times reported that current “Race” president Janet Murguia believes “hate speech” should “not be tolerated, even if such censorship were a violation of First Amendment rights.”

3. “The Race” sponsors militant ethnic nationalist charter schools subsidized by your public tax dollars (at least $8 million in federal education grants). The schools include Aztlan Academy in Tucson, Ariz., the Mexicayotl Academy in Nogales, Ariz., Academia Cesar Chavez Charter School in St. Paul, Minn., and La Academia Semillas del Pueblo in Los Angeles, whose principal inveighed: “We don’t want to drink from a White water fountain, we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We don’t need a White water fountain . . . ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction.”

2. “The Race” has perfected the art of the PC shakedown at taxpayer expense, pushing relentlessly to lower home-loan standards for Hispanic borrowers, reaping millions in federal “mortgage counseling” grants, seeking special multimillion-dollar earmarks, and partnering with banks that do business with illegal aliens.

1. “The Race” thrives on ethnic supremacy — and the elite sheeple’s unwillingness to call it what it is. As historian Victor Davis Hanson observes: “[The] organization’s very nomenclature ‘The National Council of La Raza’ is hate speech to the core. Despite all the contortions of the group, Raza (as its Latin cognate suggests) reflects the meaning of ‘race’ in Spanish, not ‘the people’ — and that’s precisely why we don’t hear of something like ‘The National Council of the People,’ which would not confer the buzz notion of ethnic, racial and tribal chauvinism.”

I wonder how La Raza's "community organizers" will "follow up on why it's important to vote"?

UPDATE 9/29: Kind of late for an afterthought, but the AP quotes two Democrats in its article and doesn't see fit to question their claims that this is a completely non-partisan initiative?

The fire started at roughly 5 a.m. in an upstairs apartment of a four-apartment building at High View Apartments on Orange View Lane. The two men living there, and families in the two downstairs apartments got out safely. Red Cross volunteers responded later that morning.

Red Cross volunteers provided the two men from the upstairs apartment with temporary shelter, comfort kits (personal hygiene kits), and emergency assistance for food, clothing, and shoes. They offered a Red Cross clean-up kit, but the men declined, saying they didn't have enough left in the apartment to warrant it.

Property managers were able to place the other two families in vacant apartments. The Red Cross helped a man living directly below the fire-burnt apartment with a Red Cross clean-up kit and odor-control-concentrated cleaner to help salvage items from his home, a comfort kit, and emergency assistance for groceries. The Red Cross provided the third family -- a man, woman, and infant -- with a clean-up kit and odor-control concentrate to help salvage items from the home, infant supplies and diapers, comfort kits, and emergency assistance for groceries.

Well our car cost almost a million dollars to fix. It was our good old standard fall–surpris

Well our car cost almost a million dollars to fix. It was our good old standard fall--surprise you're out of money, no car, broke, you betta walk bitches--time of year adventures! Seriously, we have been together just over 7 years and we have ALWAYS been completely retardedly broke in the fall, but always do something spontaneous and wild. We always end up destitute and kinda starving and it's always the times of our lives that we remember the most. And it's also the times that we look back on and laugh because we're lunatics, but god its so much more passionate that way. I get so bored with the 9to5 culture of the city. It's so boring. I look around at all the suit wearing condo owner/jogging/sports fans and think that we're aliens, but thankful for it at the same time.

I'm feeling much better now that I'm reunited with my Jettie. I spent last night chattin on the phone with my dear, crazy friend and that always brightens my spirits. We talk like old women on the phone and hackle like two cats. She says hilarious things about me trying to have a baby...[in a very pronounced Wisconsin accent] "Ah. You're not going to be able to drink!" Haha...yeah I kinda know that. "What are you going to do if you get a bunch of those eggs stuck up there? Are you gonna have that shit sucked outta there--or are you gonna end up having quadruplets or somethin'??" Bwahahaha! Laugh, she makes me cry. God love her for even thinking that much or caring. But why on earth would I have that many eggs?? I respond. Obviously she's been talkin' to somebody that warned her of fertility treatments! I'm like--no one in my family ever even had twins, why would I have quadruplets!?!?

She's a riot. I wish she lived closer. I hate the politics of Wisconsin or I'd move there just to act like old antique collecting fags with her more often.

I worked from home today and wow I really needed it. I have been majorly stressing about this proposal at work and it's not even over yet...but by Wed. @ midnight...it will be! Hooray. So for lunch, instead of eating, I decided to take a bike ride and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I hate to "declare victory" but it was such a terrific ride! I didn't encounter ONE ASSHOLE! That's a first in the 3 years that I've lived in Chicago. I cannot go outside without seeing someone that is just an asshole, doing something "assholey" (to quote Mariela).

It was nice to just get on my bicycle without even having a destination. I rode to Southport and hooked up with the bike lane and just followed it until it ran out at Clybourn. There was an awesome view of the city and a huge B&N Bookstore so I had to check out their lesbian baby book selections before returning of course. I want to find more books to read, but surprisingly, it is somewhat difficult. Considering Women & Children First, in the lesbian neighborhood, didn't have really anything for lesbian's having babies I thought, well checking a big ole corporate store couldn't hurt at this point. Yeah, well it didn't help either. Nothing. They had one book that just looked stupid. It was all about raising your children to be safe, stable, blah blah blah--feely, societal, overload. So I shoved on. But hey, at least I found a new movie theater that we can ride to entirely on a bike path...that's THREE movie theaters...all on bike paths around us. Pretty sweet, too bad we're too broke to go to the movie. I LOVE when we take nightly missions on our bikes--we ride the streets like two of the youngest "Outsiders"...the night air and lights on my face always makes me feel like "we're lookin' for trouble"...ha.

So I guess I'm going to have to ORDER lesbian baby books from Ahole.com instead of a real bookseller. That stinks. Maybe I can check out the bookstore in Milwaukee this weekend and get lucky with a better selection.

I tried to find this amazing picture book of Colombia again to look through, but couldn't find it. I can't find anything when Mariela isn't with me at the bookstore. It's pretty funny. I'm extremely intelligent, but then there are these shockingly ignoramus things that I do or can't do...like find a picture book. But anyway the point is that I wanted to see more of what the "average" Colombian looks like...their color...facial features, etc. I mean, I know what "my" Colombian looks like, but I guess I'm just really nervous about what the donor looks like? Maybe that's completely crazy. I never wanted to worry about such a thing, but now that it's approaching, I have to say that I'm a little more worked up. I think that maybe ordering the photo might be a good thing...

But as a sidenote, as if I don't make enough of them, the pictures of Colombian were absolutely beautiful that I did find. I have such vivid dreams of going there someday and seeing it all with La-la. It looks incredible. I really want our babies to be connected to Colombia too. I just shouldn't even think about what he looks like. It really doesn't matter to me. And it's not that "I'm worried" about it--but just that I can't stop thinking about it and want some confirmation--obsessing, that's the word. And it's something that I promised I wouldn't do. :-)

P.S. I think today was the first day without noticeable pain in my jaw in 10 days. Whew! I can't wait to sleep tonight.
