now keep in mind it has shoulder rolls with detachable sleeves, i havent taken a picture of that yet, but i will later :)

so my friend is coming over today with her sewing machine so we can just finish up a few things, i dont have a dress form, so i need to put the dress on and have her pin up and hem correctly :)

i am so happy to have this project completed!

its my first nobility dress so i am very happy

there is a lunchbox on the shelf.

the lunchbox has a picture of red spiderman and black spiderman staring at each other. the student helper takes the lunchbox off the shelf and opens it. there is nothing inside. she puts the lunchbox back on the shelf as it was.

the student helper grabs a small box of paper clips and a sheet of stickers with smiley faces. she stares into the supply closet and then she grabs the door knob and swings back and forth.

she shuts the door with resolve.

she walks down the hall and sees a little girl with a pink ribbon from the kindergarten class. the little girl is sitting against the wall and cutting the bottom of her dress with a pair of safety scissors. the student helper gives the girl a sticker and smiles.

the little girl begins to cry.

This is just plain awesome. I want it. I think there was a bird ring on whowhatweardaily.com- ebay is a great place to find a totally unique one. And at the price of $99 you can't complain. I've seen rings like this in the states for several hundred. This one ships from Thailand.

Alexander Wang Dress (so sexy and cool!)

Another one of those throw it on and go dresses. The waist cinch is at the perfect place for me (and tons of women), and this piece is so perfect for mixing and matching with other things. With the metallic sheen, this is a special piece that would be so much fun to experiment with.

With that in mind, I'll be presenting one awesome Target find per day.  I'm only going to post things that I've physically seen and can vouch for the quality of, because as all Poison fans know, every rose has its thorns, and even my beloved Target sells some cheap things that just look... cheap.  Because of this, I'll also periodical point out products that look nice online/in their ads but are of poor fit or construction in real life to protect against online shopping disappointments.

First up in the AWESOME category is this metallic bubble dress.  It's regularly only $19.99, but is on sale through 8/23 for $17.99.  Bubble dresses can fit beautifully or repulsively depending on the cut, and this one looks fantastic.  It's rather short, but the bubbly-ness helps in that regard by A: diffusing any thigh-related issues you may have (drapery hides a multitude of sins) and B: covering your ass when you bend over.  Now you don't have to worry about holding the back of your dress down, the elastic does it for you!

It comes in several colors, but I'd stick to the lighter ones.  the black and dark purple versions look cool online, but hopelessly chintzy in person.  The sparkle blends nicely with the taupe and silver versions, making them look pretty luxe.

Retro-cool without being too Sonny and Cher, drapey and slimming without looking trash bag-ish, this is a great party dress for late summer (so cute with flats) OR fall (just add dark tights and heels/boots).  Buy it!

This sweater dress from Urban Outfitters is so cute. This dress is great for the fall season. The houndstooth detail on the top part of the dress is definitely in-style. This dress is very plain, but very adorable and extremely high fashion. It would go great with a pair of tights and some brown flats. This dress looks like something Mischa Barton would wear. Very plain and simple, but totally stylish. The high neck makes the dress look like it belongs on runway. Purchase at Urban Outfitters.

One long sleeve jersey cheap as heck top which no longer fitted my daughter - cut off the arms to make a t-shirt - take another cheap jersey top, cut across the top from under arm to under arm to make the skirt and sew the two together (takes a bit of practice but you get there in the end).

And the result?  A t-shirt dress that will last through this Summer and then when Autumn/Winter is upon us, you can cut the fabric up into squares and use those as dusters.

I hope we dont bail out in the result of no place to go. I mean, I dont mind going anywhere. But the problem is, its always the saem thing. We go to the *shiver* mall, and then we walk around, eat from the food court, and then go home. Nothing happens really.

Dont get me wrong, I am not expecting like a big adventure to happen like Indian Jones. But how about a party? Or maybe you know, a dinner at a place, you know, a place...

yeah, not exactly that convincing, am I? Ha ha ha.

planning to wear this today, likkkkeeeee, for no reason if nothing comes up.

hmm, yeah, I have nothing else to say.

I have a big artist block. I find myself watching endless batman and spidermanshows, reading comics, even occasionally wearing theatrical makeup, just to see if my brain has a freaking reaction to it all. It does, but the only reaction it gives is making me appear even more crazy.
