Just woke up from a 2 hour nap. Feeling a little bit ill. I'm tired and my throat feels like it's about to hurt. It's not quite there yet. Hopefully taking the nap is going to help out.

As you can see, today was about lifting heavy things. It was hot and we were exerting energy so we sweat. The key to lifting heavy things is to keep your back straight so this usually means bending your knees. When you bend your knees and you are sweating, your clothes tend to stick. When you bend and your clothes stick to your legs, then you put added stress to your clothing. In this case, the stress is tension. Tension pulls on the seems of your clothing. Pulling on the seems of clothes can cause tears. I wound up tearing my underwear. ;) I didn't plan on any clothing malfunctions when I packed so light. I hope this is the last of it.

Here, you see Mark and Tracy sleeping. It's hot and very noisy where they are sleeping so they must be really tired. Everybody was tired. Look how dirty Mark's pants are. They weren't that dirty when we started the day. The place was filthy.

This is something I did the other day as sort of a fun, interesting, wierd little excercise. What I did was come up with a positive and negative image or connotation for a few colors so I thought, for fun, I'd share a few of them. And I wanted you guys to post some positives and negatives of whatever color you want (if you want).

Purple - the sickly color of a bruise as it darkens

the dark, rich color of that beautiful velvet cape

Yellow - dusty, parched wheat fried in the unforgiving sun

bright, happy, sunflower skirt carried by dancing feet

Blue - the deep, dark sea hiding the unknown denizens of the deep

soft pond waiting, hidden behind the house, following a stream, happy children skate

and swim within

Red - obscene flashes of blood on the wall

powerful purring cherry Mustang

Green - all-night binge ending over a toilet splashing stomach contents

soft newness of the tree sprouting out of the fertile ground

Orange - CAUTION, contagious, chemicals will cause death

gooey cold orange dream ice-cream bar

Brown - dismal dark(dank) of dirt filling up around the coffin

rich fizzy cold frosty Root Beer

Silver - mirror flash of the knife's keen edge as it cuts

stream of silver around your beloved's neck proclaims your love and their beauty

And finally...

White - famine, pale from hunger, wasting away to no color

pure shining of the bride on her wedding day

Black - death, staring into the inner darkness

mystery, the unknown, looking for forever into the night sky

I don't want you to think I am about to start a gossip rant, I am fan. I love back to black, its fucking epic, it reminds me of Dusty Springfield. The girl has got a gift, and I'd think it would be fair to say that she will never have another album like her last one. It will never be that good, she has gone lauren Hill on us, and blew her fucking brains all over stage for us to see. Maybe its just our current day in age we live in. I sure the stars got fucked up beyond belief in the 60's, there just weren't as many camera's running around to get it all. Bitch is 21 or so, but looks like an aging party animal from the beat era.
I'll fucking bet you this, if she does ever make it out, and manage to somehow come back to planet earth, she won't be the same, and it will probably be pathetic. Don't worry Amy I'll still rock Back To Black.
