Sound familiar? I bet. That's an exact copy of The Moldy Peaches' "Anyone Else But You" song made popular by that one movie about a pregnant girl. Except, it's really bad and all the words were different -- something about riding dolphins and playing golf. However, the song itslef was identical to the original. So I did a bit of investigating and found a statement that clears my curious mind from one of my favorite artists and Moldy Peaches singer Kimya Dawson.

I am going to feel least like beating myself up if the words and voice
are not my own. It is just our melody. We were not involved in the rewrite.

I find it sort of sad that I get so happy about that.  I mean, I do have very few friends, like real friends that I can talk to for hours.  Well, hours on IM.
I like those sort of people, they are fun.
I need all my friends to be like that.  I have three of them on right now.

Someone else is on, but they're always on and aren't very talkative anyway - only in short bursts.  It can be annoying, but I'm learning to just ignore it.

I'm really hungry, but I don't feel like going and eating lunch because I don't want a sandwich and I don't want to cook macaroni and cheese cuz I'll have to do that dishes.  You know how annoying that is?

Scott told me about it and I WOULD NOT believe him.  He's like yes there is and I was like NO THERE ISN'T!!!  I don't know why, but I got WAY too worked up over that.  But I swear, there wasn't - not like I watch the Olympics but I swear that there wasn't trampolines.
Don't worry though, there is trampolines in the Olympics.

Scott wasn't lying.  And I thought he was.  I was pissed-off at him for it too....That he kept saying yes when I was saying no.  Not pissed-off like I normally am.  More like annoyed pissed-off.  But still.

Let's start with the statement if only. if is used to check if one thing is true, and then it will do the decided command. If you want to put this code on a movieclip, then remember to have it under an onClipEvent(){ or under an on(){ statement. But we will start by putting if on the frame.

So, I'm sure you know that 1 is equal to 1. We used == and not = because = is the assignment operator, and what it does is to change a to b, in this case, 1 would've been changed to 1, but if it would've been 1=2, then 1 would've been changed to 2.

STEP 2:

Well, let's check what happens if we change the first line to:

if(1==2){//1 isn't 2, so this is false

Well, no message. That's because 1 is NOT 2. But you might want a false message anyway. This is where the }else{ statement will be used. Read the following code.

if(1==2){ //1 isn't 2, so this is false
trace("true"); //The message if it's true
}else{//Else in actionscript is the same thing as in English.
trace("false");//The message if it's false
}

So, now it says false. But you can change the expressions the if tag have got to something else. If you change it to 1==1, it will be true, as well as if you change it to 3==3, it will be true, but if you change it to 11==1, for example, it will turn out as false. I think you get it now, right?

USAGES:

Well, basically anything, you use this for hitTest (checks if one object touches another), checking if a variable is what and doing something if it is that and so on.... Basically, think about what the word stands for in English.

The ! (false):

This operator stands for false. You can use it with the if statement. Here's one example, doing pretty much the same as the previous code examples, but this time the other way!
if(!1==1){ //If 1 isn't 1
trace("true"); //The message if that's true
}else{//Well, if 1 actually is 1, then the following message will appear
trace("false");//The message if that's false
}

The ! operator is basically useful, so I hope you will remember that part of the tutorial, as well as the other parts, because those parts was important things too! Thank you for your interest!

I still miss him.
I always will.
It's a scary thought, to tell the honest truth, that I'll most likely never be able to forget about him.  I want to be able to, but I can't.  Obviously I can't.
I miss him and I don't want to.
Because no matter what, there's nothing I/we/he can do to fix it.
We never had a real end, did we.  No, never did - not the first time, and not the second time.
That could be a part of the problem.
Another thing?  It was real.  At least for me it was.  Call me ignorant, call me stupid, call me a dumb girl, call me whatever you want to - it was real.  I haven't like that about one person for that long since him.  That may not seem important to you, but it's important to me.  What if I can't do it again for anyone else?  What if whoever else I'm with ends up being second to him?  What if, what if, what if.......
It hurts my brain to think about it.  It almost physically hurts to think about it.
To think about how I'll most likely never get to actually say "goodbye", how I'll probably never see or hear from him again.  How the end will have already come, and I've already missed it.
And I'll go on having these dreams, and I'll go on thinking about him, and I'll go on doing these things, and nothing can fix it.

Funny thing?
He always told me that he had dreams about me.  It was strange to hear that someone had dreams about you.  Well, I'm having dreams about him.  Not all the time, about once every month or two.  But for me, that's frequently.  But still.
I wonder if he still dreams......
