Next in line is Jet packs. they are dispensed from a trailer thing on the ground all you do is run up to it and hit Square just like any other vehicle. You are still able to board other vehicles while you have the jet pack and can use it like a ejector seat. The jet pack also has a boost-dodge like the hawks do so you can dodge stuff coming at you, but don't worry to much, only the infantry rocket launcher can lock on to you while you are in flight. and yes you can grab the flag and hit the skies!

Collector: Collector is a interesting game type, there are cores on the map you run out grab as many as you can and get them back to the base. the more you turn in at once the more points you can get. It is CRAZY fun with jet packs on.

Patch 1.5
Custom in-game music: this is the best way i have seen in-game music so far, you hit the PS button and pic the music and you are done.

XMB Trophies: YAY for trophies whores like me, you can't gain any trophies in local games only online game, but you don't have to be in ranked games for all of them.

Training tutorials: if you are new to the game or just want some EASY trophies hit the training, taught me some stuff i didn't know.

Ability to retract clan invites: not a big deal but it is in the patch so now you know.

20 new paint schemes and 50 new insignias: oh the customization can go crazy now, you don't have to have ranks from ranked games to get some killer paint jobs now.

GGL ceremonial blades: These are prizes from a warhawk tournament that happened a while ago and all it is is a skin for the knife not a more powerful knife.

New server color coding: now you can see what is a easy server and what is more advanced on the server list screen, green for recruit, blue for advanced.

Hero: Hero is a very interesting game type, for a whole 60 seconds you get a massive health upgrade and i think you get a damage boost. the only way for a team to score is when the hero kills someone or when the other team takes out the other teams hero.

Patch 1.5 is a free update that will happen when you play the game next, the Fallen Star expansion is a pay expansion that you can get solo or with a bundle with all three expansion. my take is that this is a must have for any Warhawker BUY IT

Me he enterado de varias cosas de las locaciones y convocatorias de filmación, veamos: Para empezar, gran mayoría de las escenas se están filmando en Long Beach, Beethlem, Princeton y sabe Dios donde más... ya un poco mas abajo les pongo videos; me extraña -quizá porque la verdad no sé como es- que sea todo tan mmm.. digamos "público", porque tooood lo ve la gente que pasa... yo me supondría que pondría muros o cosas o no se... también lo siento algo "público" por las convocatorias públicas de extras -pagados- que han hecho, aquí una que me parece algo chistosa:

Me gustaría poder llegar cerca de esos lugares! puuu he visto fotos que ha tomado la gente que ha pasado por lugares de filmación y han visto y filmado imagenes increíbles! como por ejemplo...

obvio que es optimus! no vaya salir algún chistoso preguntando... Pero alg que si es cierto que se suman más personajes, como ya dije tanto humanos como robots! cosa que en lo personal me emociona y más después de ver las fotos y videos donde salen carros que hoy si que no sé que son! No hablemos, veamos:

Sehnsuchtswiese

Can someone who has fallen the heights that he has fallen go back to where they were? Would you trust a pastor who has lied in this capacity?  Could you listen to a travelling speaker who has done this, or buy a worship album knowing his past?  Would you buy his book? (ok, I probably would, it would be a compelling read).  

I am not sure of the answers. I know that God forgives sin, and wipes the slate clean, but I also know that there has to be consequences for actions, and perhaps one of those is that his time in ministry is over, for good, end of story.  

I am not really sure of other examples from other fallen leaders in the Christian world, I know in the secular world a man can go to jail for fraud, go bankrupt, then come out, wait a few years, and start a business again, and all is good in the world.  Biblically, David fell big time, and while he was still able to be king, a bunch of consequences for him and his family stemmed from his decision.  Is this mentioned in the bible? - like what to do in this situation...

I guess it is a bit different in this sense though.  It seems like Michael G has been ill for most of his life, it is not something that will get better overnight.  Hmmmm.....Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a video I found from Mal Flectcher on how we should respond to this situation.

He talks about how christian leaders need to be held to higher account than others, and how Michael G still has a future, but perhaps not the same future he had dreamed of before this...but that God is the God of second chances.

Lucifer

Isaiah 14 vs. 12-14: "How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer,son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High".

POPULAR INTERPRETATION:

It is assumed that Lucifer was once a powerful angel who sinned at the time of Adam and was therefore cast down to earth, where he is making trouble for God's people.

COMMENTS:-

1. The words "devil", "satan" and "angel" never occur in this chapter. This is the only place in Scripture where the word "Lucifer" occurs.

2. There is no evidence that Isaiah 14 is describing anything that happened in the garden of Eden; if it is, then why are we left 3,000 years from the time of Genesis before being told what really happened there?

3. Lucifer is described as being covered in worms (v. 11) and mocked by men (v. 16) because he no longer has any power after his casting out of heaven (vs. 5-8); so there is no justification for thinking that Lucifer is now on earth leading believers astray.

4. Why is Lucifer punished for saying, "I will ascend into heaven" (v. 13), if he was already there?

5. Lucifer is to rot in the grave: "Thy pomp is brought down to the grave,...and the worms cover thee" (v. 11). Seeing angels cannot die (Luke 20:35-36), Lucifer therefore cannot be an angel; the language is more suited to a man.

6. Verses 13 and 14 have connections with 2 Thess. 2:3-4, which is about the "man of sin" - thus Lucifer points forward to another man - not an angel.

SUGGESTED EXPLANATIONS:-

1. The N.I.V. and other modern versions have set out the text of Isaiah chapters 13-23 as a series of "burdens" on various nations, e.g. Babylon, Tyre, Egypt. Is. 14:4 sets the context of the verses we are considering: "Thou shalt take up this proverb (parable) against the king of Babylon...". The prophecy is therefore about the human king of Babylon, who is described as "Lucifer". On his fall: "they that see thee shall...consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble...?" (v. 16). Thus Lucifer is clearly defined as a man.

2. Because Lucifer was a human king, "All the kings of the nations... shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?" (vs. 9-10). Lucifer was therefore a king like any other king.

3. Verse 20 says that Lucifer's seed will be destroyed. Verse 22 says that Babylon's seed will be destroyed, thus equating them.

4. Remember that this is a "proverb (parable) against the king of Babylon" (v. 4). "Lucifer" means "the morning star", which is the brightest of the stars. In the parable, this star proudly decides to "ascend (higher) into heaven...exalt my throne above the (other) stars of God" (v. 13). Because of this, the star is cast down to the earth. The star represents the king of Babylon. Daniel chapter 4 explains how Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon proudly surveyed the great kingdom he had built up, thinking that he had conquered other nations in his own strength, rather than recognizing that God had given him success. "Thy greatness (pride) is grown, and reacheth unto heaven" (v. 22). Because of this "he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws" (v. 33) This sudden humbling of one of the world's most powerful men to a deranged lunatic was such a dramatic event as to call for the parable about the falling of the morning star from heaven to earth. Stars are symbolic of powerful people, e.g. Gen. 37:9; Is. 13:10 (concerning the leaders of Babylon); Ez. 32:7 (concerning the leader of Egypt); Dan. 8:10 cp. v 24. Ascending to heaven and falling from heaven are Biblical idioms often used for increasing in pride and being humbled respectively - see Job 20:6; Jer. 51:53 (about Babylon); Lam. 2:1; Matt. 11:23 (about Capernaum).: "Thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell" (the grave).

5. Verse 17 accuses Lucifer of making the "world as a wilderness, (destroying) the cities thereof; that let not loose his prisoners to their home...(that did) fill the face of the world with cities"..."the exactress of gold" (vs. 17,21, R.V.; v.4 A.V. margin). These are all descriptions of Babylonian military policy - razing whole areas to the ground (as they did to Jerusalem), transporting captives to other areas and not letting them return to their homeland (as they did to the Jews), building new cities and taking tribute of gold from nations they oppressed. Thus there is emphasis on the fact that Lucifer was not even going to get the burial these other kings had had (vs. 18-19), implying that he was only a human king like them, seeing his body needed burying.

6. Verse 12 says that Lucifer was to be "cut down to the ground" - implying he was a tree. This provides a further link with Dan. 4:8-16, where Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon are likened to a tree being cut down.

7. Babylon and Assyria are often interchangeable phrases in the prophets; thus, having spoken of the demise of the king of Babylon, v 25 says, "I will break the Assyrian...". The prophecies about Babylon in Is. 47 are repeated concerning Assyria in Nahum 3:5,4,18 and Zeph. 2:13,15; and 2 Chron. 33:11 says that the king of Assyria took Manasseh captive to Babylon - showing the interchangeability of the terms. Amos 5:27 says that Israel were to go into captivity "beyond Damascus", i.e. in Assyria, but Stephen quotes this as "beyond Babylon" (Acts 7:43). Ezra 6:1 describes Darius the king of Babylon making a decree concerning the rebuilding of the temple. The Jews praised God for turning "the heart of the king of Assyria" (Ezra 6:22), again showing that they are interchangeable terms. The prophecy of Isaiah ch. 14, along with many others in Isaiah, fits in well to the context of the Assyrian invasion by Sennacherib in Hezekiah's time, hence v. 25 describes the breaking of the Assyrian.Verse 13 is easier to understand if it is talking about the blasphemous Assyrians besieging Jerusalem, wanting to enter Jerusalem and capture the temple for their gods. Earlier the Assyrian king, Tilgath-Pilneser, had probably wanted to do the same (2 Chron. 28:20,21); Is. 14:13: "For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven... (symbolic of the temple and ark - 1 Kings 8:30; 2 Chron. 30:27; Ps. 20: 2,6; 11:4; Heb. 7:26) I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation (mount Zion where the temple was) in the sides of the north" (Jerusalem - Ps. 48:1,2).

Jesus told them they needed to think back to point from where they had fallen - and he had already told them in the verse 4 where that place was: "thou hast left thy first love" (see the previous post: "Have You Left Your First Love?").

Do you know where the place is of your "first love" with Christ Jesus? Many people (even many who claim to be "Christian") never have known Jesus as their "first love". For them, Jesus has always been second to something or someone else, and therefore they have to commit some sort of sin and are unable to be faithful and true to Jesus in full obedience to his Word. Sin causes them to continually be "fallen" from Jesus ever being their first love.

"O israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity." (Hosea 14:1)

A "first love" begins with the "first works", and that is why Jesus instructs them that they need to "do the first works" in order to get back into a proper relationship with him. Now if you have ever had Jesus as your "first love", do you remember the first works that brought this about?

• "We love him, because he first loved us." (1 John 4:19)
• "This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." (John 15:12-14)
• "For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:7-8)

Jesus first loved us, while we were yet sinners, so that his sacrificial love could save us and turn us forever away from doing sin. This is the "first work" that Jesus does in the heart of the individual once they, with a full broken heart of godly sorrow, turn completely away from their sin and ask for forgiveness.

Now if you have ever had Jesus as your "first love", do you, can you, remember what it was like? Do you remember:

• the love that filled your heart when you knew Jesus fully pardoned you and accepted you
• because you were forgiven, you had forgiveness for everyone
• you wanted everyone to be saved - even your enemies
• you wanted to know more about Jesus, and you earnestly sought to know more about how he lived and taught
• you wanted to be close to Jesus: his body, the Church, and his work, his sacrificial labor of love

Have these things become so far in the past that they are hard to remember or relate to? When someone else speaks of them, have they become distant or taken for granted? Has something else slipped in to take the place of your once "first love"?

People often leave their "first love" but yet continue as a good "church person". When this is the case, church becomes to them more of a social meeting place where they meet and interact with nice people. They don't come to adore and worship Jesus from a pure heart of devoted love. And, as has happened many times in the past, their service to God becomes more of a discipline than a labor of love. It becomes nothing more than a practice of adhering to certain rules, customs and processes that they use to gauge whether they, or someone else, loves God. But keeping Jesus as your "first love" is more than a religious adherence to rules, customs and processes.

"Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?" (Galatians 5:4-7)

Has someone hindered, or replaced, your love for Jesus by placing something, or someone else in front of you for a "first love"? This is serious! If you let this happen to you, the consequence will be that you eventually will have no spiritual light to see by!

Things that are suppose to be filled with non-fantasy drama and non-fantasy love stories take me longer to write.  Reason in that lies the fact that fantasy is really all I write. Sure the script was fantasy in the way of fictional places and people, but it was missing the magic, wars, non-human beings, and far away places that no human could ever dream of except the writer, themselves.  No person ever sees the same place unless put into a visual format, but even if it was the book reader saw something different than the creator.

My feelings on this dropped project is actually quite miniscule. I can't tell you that I'm happy that it has been dropped, but I can be. Actually I have to admit that I had forgotten the script almost entirely. No matter... I can once again return my attention back to the demonic realms and vampires that I normally immerse myself in.

As a side note, I will be leaving the first scene up regardless of its situation. Who knows, maybe I'll come back to it, but with a different approach.  Novel-like...possibly. For those of you who were eager to see more of this script I give you my apologies and sincerestly hope that you understand. There is really no point for me to continue it when I don't have a reason to other than maybe finishing it, but that, like I said is sometime in the distant future.

moment of failing: lie

i told my mom last night that i'd do something for her. i honestly forgot today. well, sorta forgot and when i remembered i was in no position to carry out my task (without being a great inconvenience to myself. man i'm selfish). so when i chatted with her tonight i lied about working on it. it's something that i'll complete tomorrow but felt the need to lie. as soon as the words came out i felt defeated. God, why do i run my mouth so freaking much! 

moment of glory: prayer

i know i mentioned this already but it has been one of the favorite parts of my day. praying this morning really set my attitude. i don't take enough time in my day to communicate with my creator. this is something i know and when i do talk with Him i wonder why i don't more. talking to Jesus is never a bad deal. i just need to do it way more often.

i'm hoping to capture both my failings (the weight of grace) and the moments God let's me see him work (the glory of grace). i hope as i know that i'll be writing things down the list of failings will become less as pursue Him in my day to day life. being able to write down what God is doing and to be able to look back at His hand in what i see around me will be a great encouragement. i've debated about leaving this blog public. my desire is that someone might read it who is going through anything i might be and will see that they aren't alone. hopefully they'll see that God is active all around. 

my goal is to highlight at least one "moment of failing" and one "moment of glory" each day. some days i'm sure they're be more than one. some days, depending on my attitude, i wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a "moment of glory." so with that in mind, here goes nothing.

moment of failing: lust

i can't believe how much of struggle this has become in my life. the older i've gotten the more i seem to fight the desire to take a second look (you know the one where you see how her breasts look in that low cut shirt or how good her butt looks in the shorts she's wearing) at a girl that walks by in the mall. today was at target. i was walking to purchase something when i saw this blonde haired girl in my peripheral vision. after two more steps i dreamed up some "thing (i think it was a picture frame)" that i wanted to see if they had in stock. so i turned around and walked by her and without her noticing me i checked her out twice. it wasn't the "i think she looks familiar" check her out either. as she stood up i wanted to know what she felt like, if she was a good kisser, or if she'd look good lying next to me in a bed. as i walked out of target i felt like (still do a little) a creep. i was/am the guy i hate. sometimes i wish i had blinders on. 

moment of glory: conversation with my brother

my brother and i aren't the closest of friends. we'd take a bullet for each other at any moment. we aren't best friends though. there was a good two years or so that we barely talked. things have gotten better since that time a while ago. well, when he got home today he walked into my room and just started talking with me. i really really want to be better friends with him. i'd like to be close enough that whenever i get married i wouldn't be wishing one of my other friends is standing on my line instead of him. well, today was definitely a step. i'm always thankful when he initiates communication between us. maybe we'll get to chat again tomorrow or the next day...
