Well, I thought it might be a good idea to document the process of becoming a newbie RVer. The tho

Well, I thought it might be a good idea to document the process of becoming a newbie RVer. The thought of getting an RV hit me hard this summer. After the good smack, it left a permanent scar that won't disappear.

A bit about my life, first. I am recently married to my partner of nine years. We run a very demanding business. A business that can not function, without us. So we are stuck to mini-weekend vacations through-out the year, and the one week, maybe two if we are lucky week long vacation at Christmas. This leaves us mostly stuck on a local level for travel, except during our Christmas Vacation, where we can venture farther away from home.

Our home, is in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. A suburb located in Metro Vancouver. With Less than 4 hours driving, we can easily escape the city. Perfect for us to take our RV, or what I like to call it, "our second home" where-ever we feel like for a weekend of peace, quiet, and relaxation.

We can never make a decision, until it comes to the last moment. We talk and talk about exactly what we want, but when it comes down to it, we might find something so completely different, that we must have it.

We talked about a C-Class motor-home. This makes me nervous, for a few reasons. High cost of fuel, it has an engine, and with engines, come mechanical "errors," and once you pull up to a campsite, you are basically stuck there without a secondary vehicle to take you to the "yummy gourmet" restaurant you saw in the next town you just drove through on your way to the site. The idea of getting dressed up, and taking your motor-home to a fancy part of the town/city, doesn't really appeal to me very much.

So I mentioned a travel trailer (TT). My new husband start to squirm in his chair. I started going on about how cost effective a TT would be as they are much cheaper than a C-Class, we can tow it with a secondary vehicle, and the secondary vehicle would be much better on fuel than a C-Class. He told me, it had to be small, 18ft, cause he didn't like the idea of pulling something. Ok, deal.

Next thing, New or Used? I liked the idea of a used one, as again, it's cheap compared to buying a new one. But the big reason is, I can renovate it, put our own style into it, and still come out, much cheaper, than buying a brand new one. Yes, I know, watch for leaks, the stove or oven probably wont work in an older one, etc, but that can all be replaced and fixed. Once I mentioned this to the husband, he went for it, with the low cost, being the deal breaker.

So we are in the search for the perfect "vintage" Travel Trailer. Preferably something late 70's or early 80's. Must have a dinette, and a bathroom. And must have an oven, as a microwave can be difficult to run on solar-panels, when boon docking.

And thus the blog. Whatever I come across something, I will post it here. I will also post our progress in our search for the perfect "second home."

My Attempt to Save Gas

Hello,
Myself, like most Americans are caught in a crunch over the cost of gasoline. Americans are

Hello,

Myself, like most Americans are caught in a crunch over the cost of gasoline. Americans are not the only ones of the World in this boat, but are the most recent passengers.

I am not in the position to go out and buy a hybrid or some fuel-sipping ultra-compact car. Also, like most Americans, I drive a truck. A big truck. Do I need to drive a big truck? Probably not, but I enjoy the comfort and space the full-sized vehicle affords me in my lengthy commutes. I also have a Volkswagen Jetta, it's actually my wife's car, and after an hour ride, compresses my spine. Furthermore, my truck is PAID FOR in full. I have no car payment! Why would I go out and get one? Such a solution would cost more in the long-run.

To save gas...

Baggage... The things that I do not use on a daily basis can stay home. The heaviest item in the truck is a full-sized floor jack, used to lift the truck in case I get a flat. The factory jack and tools make me nervous when lifting the 6600lb vehicle. Especially if I have to get under it. I also keep a small survival kit, a change of clothes, the baby's seat, blanket and some water. Everything else goes, including the tail-gate. Many folks ride with the tail-gate in the down position in an attempt to streamline the airflow. I am not a scientist, or an aerodynamic expert. For that type information, I go to Mythbusters...

Adam and Jamie did a test in one episode to prove or disprove the validity of the 'tail-gate down' practice. Their tests did not prove that having your tail-gate lowered save and gas or enhanced mileage. Actually, their findings showed that lowering the tail-gate payed a performance penalty over a the conventional method. How is air-flow instead of spilling over the cab of the truck and going aft, air actually presses down on the truck's bed, applying force. When the tail-gate is down, there is more area for the airflow to press upon. The extra force adds a sort of weight to the vehicle, slowing it down and killing performance. Ok, so I took the tail-gate off completely. It is also very helpful to see through the back when in reverse and saves about fifty pounds in weight.

Tires... I keep the tires at their designed inflation and pressure. The practice is pretty easy with an air-compressor in the garage. A couple times a year, I get the tires rotated to even out the wear on the treads. An improperly inflated tire and poorly worn treads will impact fuel consumption for any vehicle.

Air Filter... I placed an aftermarket K&N air filter in the truck not too long after I purchased the vehicle. The truck was bought used with me becoming the second owner. Buying new cars is a bad investment for me. K&N filters are a bit pricey, but supposedly never have to be replaced, just cleaned periodically. If an aftermarket filter is too pricey an option, then replacing the stock air filter every 10-15 thousand miles should help the mileage. The dirtier an air filter is, the most work the engine has to do the supply power with the given airflow. Air filters are easy to replace and can be done by anyone in very little time.

Slow Down... I normally drive fast, not in the manner of a complete jerk, but interested in getting where I am going quickly. Instead of cruising down the highway at 75, 80mph, I have been cruising the speed limit. Doing so is actually more work than I thought. The truck does not want to go in the 55-65 range, it is comfy at 70-75. However, slowing down and driving the speed limit does save gas. Irratating as it is, there is a savings benefit to be had. Just DO NOT drive 55 in the passing lane, please?

It looks like I am sticking with my truck until it dies. As I do, I will keep trying to maximize my mileage performance as I go.

Later!

Note before Reading: The following content is entirely my own opinion. I am not responsible for misleading of views, if any caused by reading the article. The facts mentioned in the following content may very well be inaccurate and corrections will be welcomed.

Based on my previous article I thought of publishing my own view about the Nuclear Deal or the 123 agreement between Indian and USA which is about to topple the UPA government, in a very simple way so that anyone can understand it.

As per my understanding of the Deal from various newspaper articles, emails, and web readings, the deal will allow USA to make a one time exception in Atomic Energy Act of 1954 under section 123.

USA will provide India with nuclear fuel, machinery and assisting technology to help India produce nuclear power.

For that India must separate its civilian and military nuclear facilities and allow its civilian facilities to be inspected by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

India will be the first country to sign this pact without signing Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).

The pros's I think from this deal are

1.India will be able to produce more nuclear power, thus dependency on fossil fuel(read oil) will be less.

2.India may very well use the nuclear fuel it has, in military facilities.( Some one might not think it as an advantage.)

3. Improved India - USA relationship.

The con's of this deal are

1. India has to separate and reveal its civilian and military facilities, and the former can be inspected by IAEA.

2. Even if the deal is breached by India, the facilities will still be open for inspection by IAEA.

3. India has to spent a whopping 50,000 Crore Rupees to double its nuclear power production to 6% .(Why not think about increasing power by hydro, solar and wind power projects?)

4. Spoiling relationship between India-Iran and India-China.( Was there any news about a big pipeline project for transfer of natural gas between India and Iran?)

I personally do not think we should go ahead with the nuclear deal.

There are many alternative sources of power generation present in India, the money would rather be spent upon exploring those, than to buy nuclear fuel.

I hope I kept it simple.

What is your perception of the president of a sovereign nation going to his former colonial masters to plead for military aid? It beggars belief that Yar’adua, president of Nigeria, would go running to Britain to beg them to intercede in the Niger Delta crisis. The man is a rambling idiot. He brought some good to this country, but in this particular instance his idiocy is brighter than the halo of a full moon! This is the same idiot who was asked by President Bush what sort of help he was looking for and his intelligent answer was ‘any help’.

I feel embarrassed on his behalf.

I don’t know what sort of aid he’s specifically seeking. I hope he hasn’t forgotten that when countries like UK or US establish military bases in a country THEY NEVER LEAVE. They perpetually linger and through subversive means aid the very chaos they were invited to quell.

Developed and developing countries need raw materials for sustainable development. When such countries offer aid to poorer countries – kept poor because the people are disenfranchised – they don’t do so purely out of benevolence. There must be a payoff. The Iraq situation speaks for the remaining countries that have been invaded by proxy so their wealth and natural resources can be pillaged. I’m not surprised if the US employs mercenaries to plant bombs in public places and blame the attacks on al-Qaeda. It is hard to believe Iraq’s love to kill each other for no apparent reason.

Last year Shell and BP made ridiculous amounts of profit in the millions of pounds. In the Niger Delta, where Shell drills, the road tankers use to transport fuel to other parts of the country is not fit even for a camel to walk on. It is riddled with potholes. During the rainy season it becomes nearly impassable. It continues to deteriorate by the day due to total neglect.

It is the same story all over the Niger Delta. Rivers state produces the oil that sustains the rest of the country, yet its people remain the poorest. Granted their own leaders have bamboozled them, but not once have the oil companies stepped in to do their own fair share of giving back to the people whose lands and farms and rivers they are polluting.

Yesterday I spent three hours queuing for fuel because last week the tanker drivers announced they were fed up with their working conditions and went on strike. They are agitatating for an increase in fuel prices – although I don’t see how that improves the bad roads they’re moaning about.

They may be doing so out of their own greed, they might genuinely believe increased income would compensate for the bad work environment, or they might just have noticed fuel prices have almost doubled in other parts of the world and want to inflict the same agony on the already suffering millions all over the country.

Whatever their excuse, part of the problem can be traced back to foreign oil companies trying to grab all they can as quick as they can. Yar’adua should know better than to give the British army free reign over the Niger Delta. His action is equitable to that of a man who calls his neighbour into the house to sleep with his daughter! I hope that's not what he's asking for.

SNP Candidate Hungry To Make A Difference In Glasgow East!

Glasgow East deserves better

[caption id="attachment_69" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="Glasgow East deserves better"][/caption]

I find it hard to believe that Margaret Curran can hold her head up in public in the East End of Glasgow after blatantly lying to make herself seem like a more credible candidate. She claimed to have "lived and worked in the East End all her life!", she claimed this was a 'slip of the tongue'....she must think that people in Glasgow East are completely stupid.

In a campaign leaflet she attacks the SNP as letting the East End of Glasgow descend into a drug addled, violence ridden hell-hole and says that "her crime busting plan is to provide more CCTV cameras and more police on the beat!". I might be living in a parallel universe here so correct me if i'm wrong but hasn't a Labour MP been in Glasgow East for the past 50 years? And 8 years since the Scottish Parliament was opened? What was wrong that this wasn't a priority, no, that this wasn't already solved?

[caption id="attachment_72" align="alignright" width="189" caption="Labour taking a beating at this by-election is recognised across the media"][/caption]

As a campaigner for SNP in this by-election I have been all over the East End, asking people what they think of the candidates and how they are considering voting. My overwhelming experience has been that the people of the East End are sick of being treated like poor, simple minded cretins with no political interest or savvy and who blindly vote Labour. The majority of them are sickened with the tactics of Glasgow Labour and Westminster over this by-election and the last 10 years of power respectively. As a Glasgow East taxi driver stated, " my collegues and I will be voting accordingly!".

From my own view, what I have seen whilst trudging round the streets of Glasgow East has been truely atrocius. The difference in the wealth gap, from one street to another, at times hits the senses hard. And Labour have had more than enough time to bring Glasgow East to a par with other re-generated areas. The fact is that they havn't. When I spoke to people in the Easterhouse area, I asked how they found the services of their local Labour councillor. I simply couldn't repeat the choice phrases they used, and whilst I appreciate a councillors job is a tough one, I think it speaks volumes of how

New Labour have approached their duty of helping the most vulnerable people in society compared with their ferocious hunger to pander to big business. This is because, a phrase I heard on more that one occassion was that, "...she said her hands are tied!". Yes, Labour have tied themselves to business interests- leaving the humble worker to sit and wait for the crumbs. Fuel and petrol issues was mentioned more than any other issue, with the overwhelming feeling that the government was not doing enough.

Personally, as a student and a researcher I believe that Scotland would be better off as an Independant country, but this is NOT why I would vote SNP. The reason is that I believe they deserve to win more than any other party, they have not taken the Glasgow East electorate for idiots and seem genuinely hungry to make a difference in that part of the city. I hope they get the chance, Labour do not deserve to hold Glasgow East back any longer. No longer indeed.

Both the Pickens Plan and the various ideas for creating electric cars have a drawback that I’

Both the Pickens Plan and the various ideas for creating electric cars have a drawback that I've seen few people make notice about.

The lack of range for both natural gas and electric vehicles.

For pure electric vehicles, the current available range is about 50 miles. There's talk of getting up to 120 miles with future technology.

Natural gas cars right now have a range of about 220-180 miles, depending on who you ask.

Compare this to current technology: gasoline automobiles can generally get about 400 miles per tank, which depends on the vehicle, but that a general range for most cars I've seen. Some get more, some get less, but an average of 400 seems about right.

Now, for most people who have taken road trips, it can be a pain in the rear to find gas and fill up. Alot of the time, you end up paying more because you're not familiar with the area, so you end up buying at a station that may not be the cheapest. There's also the situation where you end up needing to get gas, and then miss the station down the road that's a couple of cents cheaper. But if you only need to fuel once, or not at all, then you don't have these problems to begin with. Plus, there's the delay of having to stop driving, get out, fuel, then get going again. It's a hassle.

So a longer range means less of these problems. But that seems to be the last issue on the minds of car developers and those who want to prop up alternative fuels right now. Electric car people tend to focus on commuters. Which is fine, if commuting was the only thing that people did with their cars.

It's not.

The same problem goes with natural gas. From a link provided by the Pickens Plan:

    * Second drawback: since natural gas is a compressed fuel, the tank takes up some trunk space, and only holds the equivalent of 8 gallons of gasoline. Honda estimates the vehicle’s range to be 220 to 250 miles, although Consumer Reports claimed it was closer to 180 miles.

NGV enthusiasts are getting around range limitations (and vehicle scarcity) by converting their own vehicles to run on natural gas and adding spare tank capacity. Throwing extra tanks in the bed of a truck, for example, can boost driving range to around 600 miles. The best part about converting a vehicle (as opposed to the Civic GX) is that if you run out of CNG, the system automatically switches back to gasoline.

- Gas 2.0

Throwing extra tanks in is fine if you're by yourself and you have room to spare in your trunk. But vacationers don't have that liberty, especially if they have children. Which means they'll need bigger cars (oh no, SUVs!) or fill up more frequently.

Finally, there's the problem of filling up. Now, there is the option of refueling at home for both electricity and natural gas. But what about on the road? Especially in rural areas, there seems to be a dearth of natural gas and electric refueling stations. Now, there's also a dearth of gas stations in rural areas too, but I'm even talking along highways. You're going to need alot more stations if the fuel doesn't get enough range.

And what happens if you run out of gas. Like I mentioned before, there's the problem of bringing gas out to someone who's stranded. But what about LNG or electricity. Maybe you can find a house where you can plug your car in, but you'd need a pretty long extension cord. Or maybe drain from someone else's car, but LNG is a bit more problematic than that.

Nevermind that alot of the cars proposed are compact/sub-compact. Again, a problem for families or people who are of larger than average size. I would like to see what the results for a full-size/truck/SUV are before I can say that electric/natural gas vehicles will have mainstream appeal. And without mainstream appeal, we're just talking in hypothesis.

It seems to me that alot of the focus on travel seems to be withing larger urban and suburban areas and commuters specifically. Which is fine, except that it neglects a significant aspect of driving for many people. The idea of going somewhere other than work. That something that all proponents of alt fuels will need to grasp and pay attention to as well.

When you see or hear of a good deal, jump on it! Everyday I get calls from folks looking for $10,000-$15,000 used Civics in great shape with low miles. With gas prices where they are, everybody wants them. Unfortunately, when pointed in the direction of one I've recently taken in, I get a series of questions. What color they say? Does it really matter?

I am testing my mileage again, after doing some small improvements to the Subaru.

Filled up a nearly empty tank this morning.

13.54 gallons (14 gallon tank)

$4.15/gallon

$56.19 to fill-up. This will last me approx 370 miles (mostly high-way driving)

This time last year, it cost me about $32.00 to do the same thing.

I can't wait to stop commuting. It pains me in more than one way when I have to fill my tank, and then drive the dirty 25 miles to work 5 days out of the week. I have been driving 65-68 mph vs. my previous usuals of between 68 and 74 mph the entire highway stretch to work (65 being the SPEED LIMIT, I should add) while being passed consistently by others who either a) don't care about the environment or b) could care less about how much MORE they are spending on fuel by going 15 miles, sometimes 20 miles over the speed limit. Ridiculous. But I have been using less fuel at this throttled-back rate...so to all the suckers driving the F350's at 85 mph, I hope you make enough to feed your children AND fuel your vehicle.

Sustainability is most certainly the answer. We as a nation, as an economy, and as people need to learn how to rely less upon our fuel needs and become less-selfishly minded with our usage.

Here's a few tips to help gas mileage and help you save at the pump.

Don't race away from green lights. The more you press down on your gas pedal, the more gas you're pumping, you don't need all that gas to accelerate. Press lightly on the gas pedal, and you'll still get to you where you're going.

Don't stop quickly. Lay off the gas sooner rather then later as you approach red lights or stop signs. Let off the pedal to give your engine a rest as you coast to a stop while breaking gently. As a bonus your brake pads will last longer too!

These first 2 items alone can improve your fuel economy by as much as 35 percent according to edmunds.com.

Don't tailgate. This causes you to have to slow down very quickly, and then speed up again. Avoid this cat and mouse game that wastes your gas.

Don't idle. You burn a half-mile worth of gas every minute your car is idle according to the California Energy Commission. If you're waiting for someone to run in and out again, turn off the engine. Don't idle your engine to let it warm up before driving. It does your engine no good and it wastes gas.

Save up your errands. A lot of short hops, where the engine cools down between the trips can use twice as muc gas as starting the car once and making a big sweep to all your stops, according to the U. S. Department of Energy. Go to your farthest destination first so your engine has a chance to reach its optimal operating temperature. Then make your other stops on the way back.

This week’s commentary examines the rising price of fuel and the supply chain. Here’s some

This week's commentary examines the rising price of fuel and the supply chain. Here’s some of what we talked about:

Our top questions these days are all about how to respond to high oil prices. Even the most respected and well-heeled global supply chain leaders are wondering how quickly everyone else can flex their supply network designs to offset the risks and challenges posed by $150-a-barrel oil. The answer: not quickly enough, unfortunately.

Oil has been ridiculously cheap for almost 20 years, coinciding nicely with the development of supply chain management as a widely recognized discipline in business. Not until 2005 did our current steep climb begin. Certain sensible principles like leaning inventory, outsourcing low value-added work, and rationalizing suppliers have gotten out of hand as we have chased cheap labor and just-in-time deliveries around the world.

We have thoughts on a fix: Railroads. Rail is dramatically cheaper per mile than truck transport, and yet, according to the American Association of Railroads freight traffic is down from last year. Carload traffic, which handles bulk shipments of stuff like coal, was down 3.6% in June 2008 compared to June 2007. More telling is that intermodal traffic (containers that fit onto trucks for their “last mile”) was down 4% in the same period. So, containers full of toys and furniture shipped from China are still rumbling eastward on Interstate 80 despite $5.00 per gallon diesel. Why?

You can subscribe to the Chain Reaction companion newsletter here. What do you think? What other fixes might there be for high oil prices (which aren’t likely to go away)? Let us know here.

Holy sheep dip! I filled up my wife’s Dodge Magnum at the the pump yesterday and spent $65.

Holy sheep dip! I filled up my wife's Dodge Magnum at the the pump yesterday and spent $65. Thank God I work from home full time now.

Oil demand has been climbing faster and faster over the last few years and will continue to do so - but our domestic supply has been mostly stuck at amounts we had in the early to mid-90's. Other nations are expanding their supplies but that just makes the US import even a larger percentage of our oil. We need oil, we need it to come from domestic sources, and we needed it years ago.

So oil bounces around in the $130-145 a barrel range for weeks, US citizens are being hit hard in the wallet which affects our overall economy, and our elected officials in D.C. have the power to do something about it.

So? What have they done to help out? Let's see . . . President Bush just issued a decree undoing past presidential decrees that had blocked drilling off our continental shelf. This is good. It removed any White House hindrances to more drilling.

Thus, we are left with some past laws originating from Congress. Since our representatives in Congress are looking out for you and me, you know they've been falling all over themselves to remove any blocks to domestic drilling . . . or not.

Once again the Democrat leaders of Congress have decided the tree, squid, coral, and carabou-huggers are correct - the animals and plants are more important than you. No wonder this Democrat-controlled Congress has the lowest approval rating of any Congress in US history. Last week's Congressional approval ratings hit a record low of 8%. Yep, single digits. Geeeeeee . . . I wonder why???

Nancy Pelosi and her ilk are traitors to their fellow citizens and has repeatedly failed to uphold her oath. Californians, please vote her out asap.

If Anwar Ibrahim is an actor, he would definitely already achieve so many achievements and awards for his no doubt performance. But no, he choosed to be in politics because in this arena he can go so far, so "deep" and so disgustingly anywhere he wishes to go.

Shabery asked him one simple question:

What happen later when Malaysia run out of fuel? Only then you (Anwar) rapidly increase the prices?

Anwar Ibrahim didn't answer the question. He was so far away mumbling his way out, showing his sympathy faces, repeatedly stating that he is being attack with personal issues, IPP 40% to 20% crap, cut cost from sources that he himself doesn't really know where to cut and it was a lot of things.

Here's a situation.

Imagine Anwar is in power. Today form new government, tomorrow fuel price decrease. Okay? In the ideal world, people will maintain to move forward and precisely development will never stops. Global crisis will still happen. World oil prices will increase, no matter how you try to stop. Okay?

Anwar claimed that Malaysia is an oil producer country, should be rich and be able to give subsidy to the people. RM2.20, Anwar and all the Malaysians enjoy that fuel price. We all live happy (not include disaster or any financial trouble along the years). Suddenly, in year 2015, we are out of fuel. World oil market had already increased 100% or more from today's (2008 ) prices.

What will happen then?

Malaysia is not a oil producer country anymore. Oil is no where to be found in our shores. We do not have our own resources to generate electricity using biofuel anymore. The IPP of 40% to 20% that Anwar mentioned is already 0% and we can't no longer debate about that. Then only Anwar will say, "Okay people, we are out of fuel. Now we have to start to learn to adapt with high consumer prices and eat rice once a week.." and so. As the Prime Minister, Anwar will have connections to his private jets and more embassies or countries he can run to. Poverty. Hunger. USA wil come. Israel will help. It's a fight for independence day all over again. Savvy?

So some of us trust Anwar, some of us don't. Some people trust that the government right now are doing their job although it can be hard at times.

Why is it important for us to learn history? to know the past?

Why did Shabery squeezed some of what Anwar did back then during their debate that day?

Why so many Malaysians nowadays easily forget their roots and their origin?

Why so many people are hard to change?

Why we should all remind ourselves about the things that already happened?

It took us hundreds of years to claim our freedom. From Tanah Melayu to Malaya, from Malaya to Malaysia.

It only takes Anwar Ibrahim few months to be in power (dateline: 16th september 2008).

It only takes Anwar Ibrahim a day to change all the good hard work that we, our ancestors had done.

Even Rome wasn't built in a day. Even Castro had to get through many years to retain his positions. Even Dr. Mahathir was a prime minister for more than 20 years and there are still many things to do.

Things don't come easily. Things don't come cheap.

Some people like Anwar Ibrahim say so many things he wants to achieve.. and yet, all that he had done was so many many bad things that are all mischieves.

I can say Anwar Ibrahim is a good man. A good actor actor at least.

HHO Gas is extracted from water using a device called an HHO Car Kit or also known as a Hydrogen conversion kit, you could save up to 40% using HHO along with your gasoline.

- HHO is very safe you will lower carbon emissions and is much better for your health and the environment.
- Your engine will run smoother, increase performance and have a longer better life.
- The HHO car kit is very easy to install or remove and will not void your warranty.
- 20-40% gas mileage increase on average saving you money.

Hydrogen conversion kits are very easy to make, you can do it on your own and install without any automotive knowledge or the help of a mechanic, it's made out of everyday items you probably have around the house. Here are a few of the items you'd expect to need when making a kit: a container to hold water, wiring to carry a current, tubing to transport the gas to the engine and baking soda.

The Hydrogen conversion kit works by running a wire connected to your car battery through a container that's holding water. As the current travels through the water it causes the hydrogen and oxygen in the water to separate creating HHO. The HHO will then rise to the top of the container where the tube can take it to the engine and will burn along with your gasoline. With HHO burning, the car is using less gas while having the same amount of power, so you burn less gas while going further and faster.

If you're interested in making your own kit and start saving money today, I've reviewed the top three guideslisting what I like about each one and giving it a personal rating so you can get the most out of your hydrogen conversion kit.

I wake up Monday morning with a list of things to do in my head sounded. I am hoping to get very solid work through the week - as the completion of the strategic plan for next year, the opening of meetings with financial, and yes, finally preparing a vision document ... that was in the manufacturing sector in recent years, because I've never been around him.

I trudge back late Friday night, tired with the activities of last week. Funny, I can not remember what I have achieved ( 'm not sure that over a list of things to do!) But I'm tired as hell.

Of course, is a family history - but we are about to give a happy ending. With so much technology at hand, the life of the company owner has to be simple. Read our suggestions on how to make life easier.

Getting the right equipment. Can not believe us at first but juggle between different independent computers can actually eat in the precious time. Consider the simple effort needed to make a backup of documents on CD, cataloguing and make safe place. A server to facilitate their lives by allowing fast access to files stored on different machines. If you do not have one, it is time to enter the twenty-first century!

As a result of this software. How many signing checks in one day? If you do not have enough staff accountant, do you consider the bills, making checks, bills and update yourself? No wonder you do not have time for anything.

The accounting software packages that are not only automate the process of paying bills, but can also generate invoices, monitor late payments, put on alert, generate reports and so forth.

Similarly, payroll software can be very helpful when you have a large number of people working for you. A package can make your life easier to manage the planning, monitoring of hours worked by employees, the maintenance of international assistance and much more.

You can also issue a warrant for his bank to pay utility bills, salaries and so forth by debiting your account. Think of all time, energy and paper saved!

Put your site to good use. You do not? Well, obtain as soon as possible. A Web site can save time and money and their lives in the process. If you are participating in a series of questions from customers and direct to the FAQ section on its site. If you're wasting time selection a lot of resumes, asking candidates to the application via the Internet instead. On the basis of filters on your site, you can ensure that only the most relevant for reading.

It may also be conducting many activities in line as possible - which includes managing their bank accounts, fees, ordering, etc..

Take the phone! Yes, you heard right. Take the phone, but for good reasons. If the review meetings routinely hold other activities, because you are not physically present to assist them to a television or video conference. It is a fact that the meetings lose much time - if you have to meet a group of people known regularly to discuss issues, make the place long distance.

Despite all the technologies over their lives easier, we will go out with a small caveat. It is equally easy to fall prey to them. Make sure the "new message" warning in your inbox you are not distracted during a meeting ... or checking your voice mail does not become an obsession. A large number of really important things you have to do their work requires time and attention and not the technology to do. Set aside a portion of each day, when you win all your gadgets and accessories in his mind. Friday night will be much happier, we assure you!

First-up is the bullshit. We should all be aware of the underhand and devious machinations of our

First-up is the bullshit. We should all be aware of the underhand and devious machinations of our major political parties yet somehow it always seems to be Labour who are leading the way. Guido Fawkes'has revealed the true and despicable nature of Margaret Curran and her Glasgow East by-election campaign, and I suggest you check it out, a revealing read indeed.

So it turns out that Margaret Curran is full of New Labour crap spin, Guido's exclusive comes only a short time after Maggie claimed that she had lived in the East Glasgow constituency all her life ... only for it to turn out she hasn't.

That aside though, the big national news this morning seems to have been the postponement of the 2p tax rise on fuel dutythat had been planned for the Autumn. Whilst I'm not going to criticise anyone for this much needed action I am a bit peeved about the timing and the distinct lack of depth in this move.

Fuel prices have continued to rise and hauliers, motorists, and those using oil to heat their homes continue to suffer. Never-mind the trickle down effect the increased cost of fuel has on the prices of basic goods in the shops, how much is a loaf of bread these days anyway? I don't know because I refuse to pay for it and make my own.

First of all, this doesn't go far enough. Fuel prices are going to continue to rise and an earlier prediction that the price of fuel will be £1.50 by the end of 2008 now sounds like it might be worryingly short of the actual figure. Instead of these headline catching pledges to not add any further tax real and appropriate action needs to be taken, how about the Fuel Price Regulatorsuggested by the SNP for example, for those that don't know this mechanism would reduce the tax percentage as fuel prices rise thereby maintaining prices at lower level and maintain the tax revenues that the government expects to receive when such things are considered as part of the budget.

This thing though that most irritates me about this is the fact that it has been announced in order to coincide with the crucial Glasgow East by-election, a clear by-election bribe. Of course, such things are generally reserved for General Elections yet such are the difficulties that Labour are in that they are throwing caution to the wind in order to ensure that they are not defeated in the forth coming by-election.

Gordon Brown has said that it is important

... to help hard-pressed families who are facing high fuel bills and high food prices because of what is happening in every country in the world....

And in recognition of the problems that people face with petrol, we are freezing the duty of petrol for the full year.

Of course, postponement of the fuel duty rise isn't a tax freeze at all and this isn't being done to help anybody other than the hard-pressed Labor Party. It's not going to help the families I know who can't afford to heat their homes, or get to the shops, or afford food once they get their. It's not going to help the people who have had to sell up and move away because the cost of fuel has made it impossible to stay in their home ... it's not like these people can survive on an expenses package.

BBC NEWS | Politics | Fuel duty increase is postponed
The planned 2p increase in fuel duty this Octo

BBC NEWS | Politics | Fuel duty increase is postponed

The planned 2p increase in fuel duty this October is to be postponed.

This is the second time it has been put back - it was due to be introduced in March, but was delayed for six months because of rising oil prices.

Alistair Darling said the move, which comes as oil prices continue to hit new peaks, would help motorists and businesses during difficult times.

The price of unleaded petrol has risen 25% over the past year and pressure has been mounting for duty to be cut.

The chancellor's announcement came ahead of a Conservative-called debate on fuel duty set to take place in the House of Commons on Wednesday afternoon.

Months of misery

The Tories are proposing a "fair fuel duty stabiliser" which would lower the levy when the cost of fuel goes up and increase it when it drops.

The RAC welcomed Mr Darling's announcement, but said: "It does not go far enough. We would like to see the chancellor not just postpone future rises but actually cut fuel duty."

AA president Edmund King said: "We are delighted that the chancellor has seen common sense.

"The prospect of extra, government-inflicted pain was not something that road users were looking forward to.

"Many motorists have endured months of misery and this is a welcome piece of good news for them."

Kate Gibbs, of the Road Haulage Association, said anything that helped the road haulage industry was "good news" although the postponement of the fuel duty rise represented "quite a small drop in the ocean".

But Lib Dem treasury spokesman Vincent Cable said: "There's absolutely no reason why the chancellor should have been stampeded into making this decision and we have no indication how it's going to be paid for."

The decision was disclosed in a response to a parliamentary question tabled by a Labour backbencher.

Mr Darling told the BBC News Channel: "It's quite clear to me that oil prices, which are what's driving the prices at the pump, are gong to remain high for some time yet.

"So I've reached the view that it's right now, before the House of Commons goes away for the summer recess, to say that we're going to postpone the increase that was due in October.

"I'll look again at the matter again in the budget but I think that this is the right thing to do to help motorists and to help businesses."

'End uncertainty'

The prime minister's spokesman said there were "lots of precedents" for announcements on fuel duty to be made before the parliamentary summer recess.

He said Mr Darling "decided to do it now because he wanted to end any uncertainty".

It follows a series of demonstrations by lorry drivers demanding cheaper diesel. Figures show petrol prices have risen nearly a quarter during the past year, and diesel 36%.

AA figures suggest the cost of a litre of unleaded petrol averaged 119.5p across the UK on Tuesday, with diesel averaging out at 133p.

Earlier this month, Gordon Brown signalled that delaying the 2p rise was a distinct possibility when he said it was something he was looking at "very, very carefully".
