While DBSK is returning to Korea with their full album this month, Big Bang will release their full length album titled “Number 1″ in Japan next month. How ironic or is it? The five mini muffins are probably running off to Japan because they can’t handle the heat in Korea.

Big Bang already signed with Universal Music and their music will be released under indie label “Village Again” on October 22nd. Their album will be released in CD and limited edition CD+DVD format.

Check out the tracklist for Big Bang’s album and take your best guess at how many Japanese songs they recorded. I have my money on none - just like their last album.

Big Bang performed and won at this years MBC Korean Broadcast Awards. The boys performed “Haru Haru” with a much better look than they’ve been parading around during the last few weeks. Although the silver bib-like design on Dae Sung’s shirt was a bit distracting, TOP looked good in his suit as always. Too bad that the rating for this awards show was only 2.3%.

Surprisingly, Big Bang won for Best Newcomer although they’ve been around the block for two years. This year’s newcomers must be that bad if they had to give the award to Big Bang.

First up, our mini birthday celebration of Kwon-leadah (aka G-Dragon), my favourite member of Big Bang.

Yeap, I managed to drag K-Doee to join me in the celebration. I took quite a lot of pictures that night, but as a result of not practicing my photography much more frequently, all the pictures turned out to be quite sucky, heh. And the cupcakes were so-so though (could've been better, honestly).

Besides that, we're pretty much boggled up with work. But I shall list you my current favourite things, to entertain you. I'll probably update this from time to time, depending on my mood and availability, hehe.

1) Holly's Coffee @ Cineleisure Damansara. We wanted to try this cafe for the longest time, and we finally did early last month. And needless to say, we're hooked. The cafe is quiet and cozy, and they serve the best Oreo Cheesecake ever! (and that's two weeks of exercise for me :p).

2) SHINee's 1st album, The SHINee World. Yeap, those young boys from SM are back again. I've got to hand it to SM Entertainment, they come up with some of the catchiest songs in the K-pop industry, and their marketing ploy is brilliant. I was a bit skeptical about this album prior to its release, knowing how much of a letdown SM albums were to me despite their strong debut. But this album survived the ordeal, and pretty much gave me a pleasant surprise :)

3) Graniph. I love Graniph. I've yet to own a shirt from them though, but they made quite an impression on me, having read how top-notch quality their t-shirts are. And I'm really liking some of their designs! I'm not really sure how the prices are like (but I'm guessing a bit of an ouch factor for a person who's always broke like me), but I'm gonna find out soon when me and K-Doee make that little getaway trip down to Singapore.

I think that is all for now, I'll add more if I have more :) I'm trying to get my hands on this month's ELLE Korea and Esquire Korea for their fashion shoot on Big Bang, but it's been quite hard, considering the lack of bookstores that carries Korean books/magazines. Anybody know any other channel to get them precious magazines besides DVDHeaven.com?
