The New Years’ Resolutions of Virgilius Sade:

The New Years' Resolutions of Virgilius Sade:

Get a licence

Pass another year at College

Go out with that Somebody

Re-learn piano

Write stories and poems like crazy like I used to

Deal with "The Black Dog"

See movies worth seeing

Save money

That's all I could come up with. Last year, I didn't really have a resolution at all because of being a total skeptic when it comes to them and the related, somewhat silly list that follows. It has not been a year here at Randomly Relevant, only six months or so, but you know some people...

Randomly Relevant originally started as a political/social/religion/stupidity commentary with quotes and random (yet related) Youtube videos and several links to different entries, thanks to Wikipedia as a restart to the blog under the name of Apabila Dunia Berjadi Bodoh? But without the pretty Photoshopped pictures.

It had several brushes of fame and controversy, namely: Here and here.

It was the only one in Oz to ever blog about the '07 Election and the stupidity of Howard.

The author got added the the blogroll of TheDesktop and "knighted". Was in fact late for the ceremony and participated in what was the most epic burn of his "career" months later.

Most of the search engines results were that of Gabriela Robin, a co-worker of Japanese composer Yoko Kanno.

Virgilius Sade was well liked as a result of commenting in the blog of Daddy Dan and bestowed his wisdom upon The Leaky Brain and If You Read This, I’ll Buy You Some Cake and TheDesktop as well.

Started adding bits and pieces from his mysterious life, as well clips and postings about the British science fiction series, Doctor Who, Japanese classical rockers ALI PROJECT and the similar group Yousei Teikoku.

The author proclaims that he shall keep blogging for the hell of it.

So yes, Happy New Year to everyone and I'll hope to see you all later.

Yesterday, I went shopping with a bunch of people; a relative, a friend I've known since primary school and myself. I finally got my hands on Ghost in the Shell S.A.C: SOLID STATE SOCIETY on DVD which is a limited edition that comes with the O.S.T for the movie itself and the game soundtrack from .hack//G.U which was also nice. I've noticed that most of my friend's shopping tastes haven't really changed and plus they have a habit of dragging me around too much at times and I still have trouble when it comes to getting a good T-shirt. The rest of the people I knew from high school got average jobs and most of them are married or pregnant. Sometimes I think, am I being left behind in all this? In a world where straight after, you are expected to become a young adult as soon as possible and go forth into the wild? am I really ready for this sort of thing yet? I kept reminding myself of the novel I am currently reading on the train on the way home, Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, an English translation. I called about my Tuesday appointment with --- ------, to see if he was interested. But nothing much has happened or changed for the matter.

After looking at the Times. It is clear to me that:

1) This newspaper is not focusing on celebrities no longer
2) They write this that truly concern us
3) They are no longer blind!!

Let us look at the headlines of the newspaper, the first few pages:

"Wonder Drug" Fears
A fit 19-year-old started taking diet pills to lose weight. Three weeks later she was dead.

Well, appearance is everything to their generation, what could I say? The last one who tried this minus the drugs ended up hooked up to a feeding tube with brain damage.

Lazy, drunk -- and pregnant
WA teenagers are becoming pregnant in record numbers because they are too lazy or too drunk to bother with contraception, research has found.

They live to party, a party is their life. So I wouldn't be suprised.

Only 20m away from a killing machine
A perth student has described the nightmare of being within metres of gunfire in the worst shooting massacre in US history.

Well, I don't know what to say... This guy is very lucky to be breathing right now.

Congratulations to those writers; you have just differentiated yourselves from those who can write what truly matters
and those who can just write the daily, expected celebrity-charged fodder.

On a much nicer, cheerier note, Mai of Gabrielarobin.com has posted this, nice!

The cause of my woe is gone, it is really good in it's brilliance, these guys have asked for my contribution. The world seems much better, sorry for my crypticism in this. Even if there is a lighter side to the world, there is always the darkness, still surrounding since the day with tears, bullets and blood. May they have their peace.

Way to do, to be told...
Go down there, you see the breeze
It's all done, send it to...
Because so, their here yes, she heard from them, what have you?-
Be certain fall...
