Ok the concerts just keeps coming. Was flipping through the Life! section of The Straits Times when I sort of saw this piece of news that Rihanna would be holding a concert in Singapore in November! This is quite long due I think, since her Good Girl Gone Bad Tour ended on 5 April this year. Wonder what songs she will do for this performance, since she has re-released her album, and that Disturbia and Take A Bow have done so well on the charts?

SO YEA SOUNDSCAN HAS REPORTED THAT BEYONCE'S LAST ALBUM "B'DAY" MOVED ABOUT 5.9 MILLION ALBUMS WORLDWIDE WHILE RIHANNA JUST HIT THE 6 MILLION MARK WITH "GOOD GIRL GONE BAD". A FEW OTHER WEBSITES HAVE SAID THAT RIHANNA IS NOW THE QUEEN OF R&B AND BEYONCE NOW NEEDS TO "STEP HER GAME UP" AND TRUECLEFMUSIC WOULD THOROUGHLY LIKE TO ADDRESS THAT:

FIRST OF ALL RIHANNA IS A POP ARTIST WHILE BEYONCE IS A URBAN DANCE POP ARTIST. MARIAH CAREY IS THE QUEEN OF R&B. HER LAST CYCLED ALBUM (MEANING AN ALBUM THAT HAS BEEN AVAILABLE LONG ENOUGH TO SEE WHERE FINAL SALES NUMBERS WILL REST) "THE EMANCIPATION OF MIMI" DID 10 MILLION COPIES WORLDWIDE... SO YEA BEYONCE'S 5.9 AND RIHANNA'S 6 MILLION WOULDN'T EVEN BE CONSIDERED IF THEY WERE IN FACT SINGERS OF R&B WHICH THEY AREN'T...

Certes.

Deuxième morceau, Push Up On Me. Horreur superbe.

Don't Stop The Music.

On passe.

Cinquième morceau. Shut Up And Drive.

Sixième morceau, Hate That I Love You, en featuring avec Ne-Yo.

Septième morceau, Say It. =]

Huitième morceau, Sell Me Candy.

Neuvième morceau, Lemme Get That.

Douzième morceau, dernier de l'album habituel, Good Girl Gone Bad.

My mind is gone/I'm spinning round/And deep inside/My tears are drown/I'm loosing greed/What's happening ? ».

Je pense principalement à Good Girl Gone Bad, Disturbia, Don't Stop The music, Cry et Hate I Love You.

Hum... Grmbl... marraine de la Star Ac' 8...

RIHANNA IS KILLING THE GAME RIGHT NOW. "DISTURBIA" WAS NUMBER ONE A FEW WEEKS AGO AND BEFORE THAT IT WAS "TAKE A BOW". ALL HER SINGLES HAVE GOTTEN MONSTROUS AMOUNTS OF AIRPLAY AND CHART JUST AS WELL. TOP PRINCESS?

WHILE THE DEBATE OVER WHO IS NUMBER ONE (MARIAH CAREY OR BEYONCE) DRAWS ON RIHANNA HAS SEEMINGLY SNAGGED SECOND PLACE ALMOST UNCONTESTED.

RIHANNA'S "GOOD GIRL GONE BAD" ALBUM IS THE BIGGEST COMMERCIAL RELEASE DEF JAM HAS ACHIEVED SINCE THE MARIAH CAREY COMEBACK ALBUM THAT MOVED 10 MILLION COPIES AND SPAWNED 5 SINGLES IN 05. HER MARKET APPEAL RIVALS THAT OF BRITNEY SPEARS, FERGIE AND EVEN MS CAREY HERSELF. RIHANNA TIED MARIAH AND BEYONCE WITH MOST NUMBER ONES THIS DECADE. ALL 3 ARTIST HAVE 4...

THE CROSSOVER:

ITS VERY DIFFICULT TO CROSS OVER WITHOUT EXTREMELY CHANGING YOUR MUSIC BUT RIHANNA HAS SEAMLESSLY DONE JUST THAT. SHE DID SO BY CHANGING HER PUBLIC PERSONA RATHER THAN CALLING UP NE YO TO WRITE HER A "IRREPLACEABLE" OR "WITH YOU" CROSSOVER TRACK.. SHE CUT HER HAIR AND STEPPED UP HER GAME TO BECOME A FASHION ICON AND POP CULTURE'S "IT GIRL".

"UMBRELLA" IS THE JEWEL OF THE RIHANNA CAMPAIGN, UNQUESTIONABLY HER BIGGEST HIT, MUCH BIGGER THAN ANYTHING FROM THE OTHER CONTENDERS FOR NUMBER 1(CIARA, KEYSHIA COLE, FERGIE ETC...) SHE APPEALS TO ALMOST EVERY AUDIENCE AND IF SHE COULD SING BEYONCE AND M WOULD HAVE HELL 4RM THAT CHICK FROM BARBADOS...

THATS RITE THE FIRST ONE, WE'RE JUST AS SURPRISED AS YOU ARE. HE'S BEEN RECORDING 4 A MINUTE AND HAS MADE POPULAR, WELL RECEIVED ALBUMS AND SINGLES B4 BUT HAS NEVER OCCUPIED THE TOP SPOT ON THE HOTT 100 BY HIMSELF BEFORE

TRUECLEFMUSIC^

T.I.'s "Whatever You Like" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 Aug. 23 at No. 99. Two weeks later, it made the biggest leap to No. 1 in chart history—from No. 71, thanks in large part to first-week digital sales of 205,000. It's the first solo No. 1 for the Atlanta-based rapper/songwriter/producer/actor and Grand Hustle Records CEO, following "My Love," on which he was a featured artist with Justin Timberlake. With a catchy hook, upbeat template and signature delivery, the track features the universal appeal to captivate R&B and top 40 radio—the latter, in recent times, has become less automatic about adding hip-hop titles that don't say something new. And T.I. does: By complimenting women in the lyric, he helps counter the misogyny that is often pervasive in hip-hop. Producer Jim Jonsin, who also crafted the beat for Lil Wayne's "Lollipop," sticks to his winning formula of drum patterns and synthesizers, sampling "Redemption," the theme from the film "Rocky II." Such success bodes an auspicious debut for "Paper Trail," T.I.'s sixth album, slated for delivery Sept. 30. - SR

WHAT ISN'T SAID HERE IS THAT HIS NEW TRACK WITH RIHANNA "LIVE YOUR LIFE" MAY ALSO TOP BILLBOARD BEFORE LONG. RIHANNA IS HOTTER THAN HELL RIGHT NOW, 3 HITS FROM HER LATEST ALBUM AND NOTHING BUT MOMENTUM MOMENTUM MOMENTUM FOR "GOOD GIRL GONE BAD". RADIO CAN'T SEEM TO GET ENOUGH OF THAT EXOTIC LITTLE VOICE. WE WOULDN'T BE SURPRISED IF THE SONG FINDS IT'S WAY ATOP THE CHART IN THE COMING MONTHS.

OH AND THIS RECENT NUMBER ONE SPELLS BUMMING BUSINESS FOR THE "LOLLIPOP" PRODUCER JIM JONSIN. EXPECT TO BE HEARING MORE & MORE OF HIS PRODUCTS ON RADIO...

You can stand under my umbrella

ella ella eh eh eh

i think it was right after i heard rihanna's song "dont stop the music" or "hate that i love you" i heard her new single "Take a bow" (sorry if im a bit late).

at first i thought she releases a new album coz i had a copy of her album "Good Girl Gone Bad" on my Ipod, usually after my shift i often saw a new album release in a music store here in SM Megamall they usually have posters of those new album and I am a bit lazy that time i didnt enter the store coz i saw Mariah Carey's big poster E=MC2 album poster and thought that they havent got a copy of the new album of rihanna.

usually i pay a visit to my loving itunes store since they offer sample copy of new songs they got and then there it was rihanna's take a bow so i listen to it.

"Take a Bow" is a song written by R&B singer-songwriter Ne-Yo and production-team Stargate for the re-release of Rihanna's third studio album Good Girl Gone Bad. It is the first single from the re-release edition of the album.

another Neyo compose song offcourse it would be great, the message is very easy to get and understand its actually on the lyrics it self, i think this was one of the few reason why the song hits the charts coz of its direct message. unlike other songs that there is hidden message and a bit quite hard to understand the meaning of the song.

rihanna really expresses the music and lyrics of the song thats why it was a big hit and people can relate to the meaning of it

Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded

Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded
Billboard Peak: #7

Disturbia
A. Merritt, B. Seals, C. Brown, R. Allen

Following in the glorified footsteps of 'Don't Stop the Music', 'Disturbia' succeeds in being the evil twin of one of the greatest dance songs of this decade. With dark lyrics about insanity and breaking vows, Rihanna pulls off an unexpected dance floor anthem (peaking at #4 in the U.S.) with all the ease of a feather floating. It's good, very good.

Cry
U.K. Bonus Track

If you've ever heard Britney Spears's 'Everytime', then you've heard about half of this U.K. bonus track. Other than the stolen hook, 'Cry' succeeds in being better than the illusively bad, 'Say It' from the original portions of the album. Lyrically, the reverse of her hit single 'Unfaithful'.

Take a Bow
M.S. Eriksen; S. Smith; T.E. Hermansen

Although I prefer Leona Lewis's 'Take a Bow', Rihanna's tune of the same name carries similar feelings with her signature gritty vocals. Perhaps the more memorable parts of the song are her sassy interjections of "Please" and her trademarked plucky runs. While the vocal prowess of Leona Lewis's version takes potshots at Rihanna's, it still managed to be a #1 hit in the U.S. while Leona's latest single sank long before it could swim.

If I Never See Your Face Again
ft. Rihanna
A. Levine; J. Valentine

This Maroon 5 collaboration has all the hallmarks of a hit, sadly it never received the correct promotion, instead flailing around the charts never quite making a splash (peaking at a pitiful #51 in the U.S.). The pairing of Levine's choir boy vocals and Rihanna's rock / pop pipes bring a certain degree of spontaneity to the recording. Excellent vocal chemistry exude from the track with a violin / synth pad duo that excites the ears. An excellent song that will go absolutely nowhere.

by Rihanna: My library already housed Good Girl Gone Bad, so I didn't see the need to obtain the Reloaded version that was released in early June. This proved to be a mistake on my part since I had not heard this song previously. I was informed that I should watch this video about two weeks ago and I instantly fell in love with her transformation of the lyrics to images. This video is amazing...very much creative, thought provoking, and outside of the normal. Rihanna's videos are beginning to push the limit, and if she keeps it up, her vids may begin to be compared to the story-telling ability of Micheal Jackon's videos in the early 90s. Oh yea...the song is pretty hot too!

For months now, I've stubbornly resisted buying this album. During that time, it has been topping the iTunes charts and is played incessantly across the radio. Everyone has heard it, and most listeners have a strong opinion about it one way or the other. So finally, I can ignore it no more - I caved and bought it.

A paradoxical album, some of its tracks have an addictive, driving beat that has me turning up the volume and moving to the pulse. Others, like 'Umbrella', are so unbearably annoying and unmusical that I can hardly bear to listen to them.

No one can deny that the album has variety. There are club-style dance tracks in 'Don't Stop the Music' and 'Push Up On Me'. The vocals of 'Lemme Get That' are mostly rapped, while 'Good Girl Gone Bad' sounds more like pop of the generic "soft-rock" radio variety. 'Shut Up and Drive' (great track!), has rock guitars and drums. All of this from an artist whose previous albums were criticized for lacking versatility. No more!

It's true - there's some lack of musicality here. The melodies aren't impressive for their own sake, and the tracks are driven mostly by a strong rhythm section. But, credit must be given for certainly showing much improvement over Rihanna's previous albums.

My conclusion: it's a worthwhile album! If you can avoid those few tracks that will drive you insane, the rest is a really good listen.

Okay, So I've never been a fan of Rihanna's vocal ability. Yet she always manage to get good songs so I just had to put up with her. I would be so much happier if her songs were sung by other artists that actually CAN sing (Rachel Stevens would be my first choice to take over her songs). Anyway, back to Rihanna and Disturbia. Another new video from her album, Good Girl Gone Bad. It's another catchy dance song like S.O.S. and Pon de Replay. If you like those you're gonna like this, and I suppose this song will go around for weeks (naturally for Rihanna). Moving on to the video, got some make-up, a little creepy, dark and dirty while letting Rihanna look good in it. It's a nice pop video, but I don't feel the Disturbia. Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum....

Fantastica canzone e fantastico video!

Although this tune was leaked/released a while ago, I hadn't actually heard it. To be honest, I ignore most of what Rihanna releases. But here's her latest video coming from her re-released album "Good Girl Gone Bad"

I gotta say, I'm feelin this video. The song...not so much. Why is everyone releasing this same sh*tty euro-pop crap? Seriously? It's mad to think that Rihanna first came out with "Pon Da Replay". Pfffffft, that chicks long gone - money speaks huh! She def has the most genius stylist/marketing team, that's fo' sure!

Eh, she's hot at least...

Peace, Love & Rihanna
