Se trata de la nueva tarjeta de crédito que es la sensación en Japón... THE iDOLM@STER Credit Card.

THE iDOLM@STER, un juego que comenzó en las Arcades y que se fue extendiendo a las consolas tanto caseras como portátiles (Xbox 360 y PSP) y en el cual tomas el papel del "manager" de un grupo pop de jovencitas para volverlas la "nueva sensación" y todo lo que está "in"... cuenta con una mercadotecnia impresionante que se ha vuelto ya un fenómeno en tierras niponas.

El juego en cuestión cuenta con una serie animada, figuras coleccionables y ahora, hasta tarjeta de crédito... creo que en esta ocasión me limitaré nada más a decir "sólo en Japón".

Pues ya tiene 7 meses que salió Super Smash Bros. Brawl para Wii en Norte América, y ya casi un año de que salió en Japón, pero... eso que tiene que ver con que ya esté disponible un limpiador del lente del Wii "oficial" de Nintendo?

Pues todo, ya que si recordamos, Super Smash Bros. Brawl fue el primer juego de Wii en utilizar un disco de doble capa, el cual causó errores y problemas de arranque en muchos sistemas Wii, algo que Nintendo trató de desviar al decir que esos errores eran causados por un lente sucio debido a humo de cigarro.

Humo de cigarro? WTF... Una gran parte de los usuarios del Wii son menores de edad, y si "A implica B" entonces Nintendo nos está hablando sobre niños fumadores... algo que suena más a pretexto que a otra cosa.

Anyway, este set de limpiado del lente tiene un costo de $9.90 USD (~ $130.48 MXN)  si es que aún lo necesitan después de todo este tiempo.

Por cierto, andando de tienda en tienda he encontrado estos magníficos "Ramen", fideos instantáneos o como quieran llamarles, estos son los originales pero de Corea, saben de-li-cio-sos (hasta mi papá me quito una de las dos que compre), como pueden ver ya traen sus condimentos en un sobre, solo abres, vacías el sobre en él, hechas el agua y yatta!!

Esto es una adición bastante interesante y realmente buena.

Para todos los fans de Resistance y que seguramente comprarán compraremos ambos juegos que están próximos a salir, hay un pequeño "regalo" que Sony nos ofrece, ya que al conectar el PSP con Resistance: Retribution a un PS3 con Resistance 2, Nathan Hale (protagonista de R2) infectará con el chimera virus a James Grayson (protagonista de R:R).

Lo anterior implica cambiar radicalmente la forma de juego para la versión de PSP, ya que el Grayson "infectado" contará con las habilidadas de Hale, como regenerar energía y respirar bajo el agua, además de recibir una nueva arma, la HE .44 Magnum directo de R2.

Muy buen detalle por parte de Sony.

So, anyway, I got a killer deal on some olive oil, bought a renewable coffee filter (WHY can't I find one around here?) and also Renee Loux's latest book, which is a great resource for folks trying to live greener lives - read part of it while visiting with my folks.  But then I got Stitch 'N Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook and Stitch 'N Bitch Crochet: The Happy Hooker which both seem like not-so-serious fun.  I also got Knitting: Learn to Knit Six Great Projects and Crochet: Learn to Crochet Six Great Project, both by Klutz. Yeah, I know those are kids' kits, but they come with some basic supplies and get really good ratings for explaining things. And this way I'll have some yarn and needles right away, which is good for da budget.  I know I have at least part of a crochet hook kit around here somewhere, but who knows where. o.0

Now to figure out where to get more (vegan) yarn to play with.

Second, healthcare and health insurance are too separate things (click "here" to read my post on Barack Obama's Healthcare Policy).  Healthcare is what you get when you are swick, as well as what you get to preent you from getting sick.  Health insurance is the process by which most people finance their health care.  Get it right, Obama.  Secondly, and I have said this before and I will say it again, HEALTHCARE (and CERTAINLY Health Insurance) IS NOT A RIGHT!  Barack, your Constituional Law course must have skipped over, say, I don't know... THE CONSTITUTION!!!! (You must be reading the same one where you read that privacy is a right in the Constitution... silly me).  Health care is a necessity, a necessity that you must take care of in order to live a long and productive life.  If you cannot afford health insurance to finance your healthcare, there are plenty of ways that already exist to help you (I hate to say this, but you might actually have to look a little, ask around, do some research).  There are major medical plans out there for you to buy to cover catatrosphic illness/surgery if you are relatively healthy and watch your costs, you can see your doctor for wellness visits and check-ups for far less than typical health insurance.

Part of the problem with health insurance is that there are few true "choices" out there.  There are typically one, maybe two, types of plans available to you through your employer.  There are other plans out there, especially for younger, healthier individuals.  Health Savings Accounts are GREAT avenues for younger individuals to insure themselves and save money at the same time.  There need to be more choices in the health insurance industry.  Government mandates, government-sponsored, government-funded health insurance will decrease options because the masses will flock to this plan like rats on a cheet-o.  That is not the kind of choice that will change health insurance.  Read my post on Barack Obama's Healthcare Policy (this is not why McCain is right, just why Barack Obama is wrong).

I have to admit something - John McCain might have lost my vote after last Friday.  He voted for the largest overnight increase in the federal deficit in history (that I have found, at least).  As of last Friday, the deficit was right around $10.125 trillion.  With the $700 billion Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (and the $150 billion or so that was added in "goodies" and "sweeteners", that bill is about $950 billion.  If you do the math, that means an OVERNIGHT increase in the federal deficit of close to 9%... in one day... with one stroke of the pen.  Now, just to be sure, that in no way means I'm going to vote for Obama.  I couldn't bring myself to vote for someone who I disagree so strongly with on a whole host of issues.  It just means that I might not vote in the presidential race.  I might be voting in every other race except that one.  Don't worry, there is no way Tennessee will go blue on November 4th, so it's not like it will make a difference towards the negative.  In fact, it might wake some Republicans up to start adopting some different ideas, some, I don't know, CONSERVATIVE IDEAS?  Shocking, I know...

One last thing... aren't you glad that we aren't in control?  Aren't you glad that God is sovereign over the leaders of our nations, and that not only does He control them, but that He puts them into those postions in the first place.  We have a responsibility to be active in the goings on of our government, but HE ultimately controls it.  He ultimately chooses who our next President will be.

Where was I going with this? Oh, right! An Horse is touring the U.S. fucking as we speak!! I am soo psyched to see them again. The last time I was vis-à-vis with Kate Cooper, the deliciously androgynous frontwoman, my soul was shredded to pieces. Only her horsey glue can glue it back together. That's where I was going with this - glue used to be made from horses, so it's ironic that only her glue can put it back together. Oh geez, I'm too witty for my own good. Anywho, the Brisbane-based band has been plugging along for a few years now. The sweet musings were originally constructed in the record store where both members worked and have since been filling the earphones of pubescent girls across the world! I'll be going to the show on October 20th and November 2nd. Any takers? I promise I'll drive and pay for the gas, food, potential lodging, merch, fun-times. PLEASE SOMEONE GO WITH ME. hahahaha. Los chicos de Kotaku pudieron obtener un código promocional del stand de Gears of War 2 en la pasada E for All, el cual, al ser escrito en un sitio específico, te dá acceso a muchos goodies como el arte del juego, wallpapers, videos, etc.

Hace unos días se dió un "leak" de lo que bien podría ser una parte del manual del tan esperado Gears of War 2.

Si no son pacientes como para esperar al 7 de Noviembre (fecha que ya debería de estar tatuada en sus mentes), en el link de la fuente se encuentran los scans leakeados, donde se pueden apreciar las nuevas armas, la nueva funcionalidad de las mismas e incluso una breve descripción de los modos de juego para multiplayer.

En lo personal me llama la atención el hecho de que ahora las granadas, además de "pegárselas" a los oponentes, también podrás pegarlas en las paredes y objetos del nivel, conviertiéndose así en granadas de proximidad. Way To Go, Above and Beyond, Cliff.

Lamentablemente la semana pasada se dió a conocer que la edición de colección de Fable 2 sufriría de un "recorte" de contenidos debido a la mala planeación con respecto a su manufactura, y los extras que tendríamos (en ese momento) eran la figura del Hobbe, la 5 Fate Cards y la Caja Metálica... así que Microsoft ha lanzado una disculpa un comunicado oficial dando a conocer los nuevos contenidos de la edición de colección, los cuales son solamente:

• El Juego.
• El DVD del "Making Of".
• Contenido Adicional.

Lo que realmente es una gran decepción y una razón muy grande por la cual no voy a adquirir esta edición que por cierto, estaba a punto de preordenar en una tienda mexicana... llamémosle "Planeta Juego"... o mejor aún "RatPlanet".

A los que sí la preordenaron, les recomiendo impriman del sitio de la tienda arriba mencionada el banner promocional donde venían todos los contenidos originales (me parece que también estaban en unos volantes) para que se puedan amparar y mínimo les cobren el nuevo precio ($100 menos) o les permitan cancelarla, ya que créanme que habrá muchas broncas con su política de "una vez que lo preordenaste no hay devoluciones". PROFECO, anyone?
