The blog Dangerous Intersections posted last night in anticipation of today's release of James Taylor's new album, Covers. He does a great job of talking about the complexity to James' music, especially his newer material, despite the seeming understated simplicity to the listener.

Anyone who has spent time playing Taylor’s music (I have), especially his more recent works such as “Hourglass” or “October Road,” immediately realizes that Taylor simply makes it look easy to play and sing (consider, for example, “4th of July”). There’s a lot going on in his work, but it often doesn’t seem like it while I play the role of listener.

Scarlett Johannson has married her fiance Ryan Reynolds this weekend at a small private ceremony in

Scarlett Johannson has married her fiance Ryan Reynolds this weekend at a small private ceremony in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada) this weekend, the Daily Mail UK reports. The gorgeous actress, of "Lost in Translation" and "Match Point" fame, is known as much for her stunning hourglass figure as for her talent.

[caption id="attachment_275" align="alignnone" width="221" caption="She's the modern Hollywood starlet."][/caption]

The actress, who director Woody Allen has described as "sexually overwhelming", has been with Reynolds since last spring - not too long after he dated Alanis Morrisette. I'd be hella-pissed if I was Alanis, because let's admit it - Scarlett is a step up as far as mates go.

[caption id="attachment_277" align="alignnone" width="374" caption="Mr. & Mrs. Reynolds."][/caption]

Personally, I think Scarlett and Ryan deserve each other. "Sexiest Woman Alive" (Maxim) or not, she's still a prissy little twat, and he's a total frat boy.

Still - congrats to the happy couple! =P

The Phantom Hourglass is the newest addition to the “Legend of Zelda” series. It’s

The Phantom Hourglass is the newest addition to the "Legend of Zelda" series. It's only for the Nintendo DS, as it fully utilizes the touch screen. You can play through the whole game without ever touching a button, though you can use "Y/Left" to open the Save/Collection menu, "B/Down" - "X/Up" to swap the screens, and "A/Right" to open the items menu if you'd rather. As you could imagine, the touch screen is used to direct Link (you can't use the D-Pad), swing the sword, guide the boomerang (You can draw the path you want the boomerang to follow), aim/fire the bow (touch and drag to aim, release to fire), draw navigation routes when sailing the seas, write notes on your map for later reference, and a number of other things. The game starts with "Tetra" (Zelda) being kidnapped by the Ghost Ship. Link is washed ashore (once again) on Mercay Island, where he is found by Ceila the Fairy. Ceila takes him to Oshus, whom she calls "grandpa." Oshus tells him to go to the harbor, as there is a man there with whom Link could sail. And thus Link's next grand adventure begins. His travels lead him to delve into the Temple of the Ocean King to find sea charts which will aid him in his quest to rescue Tetra. He then learns that he must defeat a great evil and save the Ocean King, who has been captured by this evil in the Temple of the Ocean King.

The game is great fun, I completed it in about three days, but there are numerous side quests that you can follow, as well as the ever-present challenge of beating your best time in the Temple of the Ocean King. (My current best is 21 seconds). There are 13 floors and you can get a total of 25 minutes of protection from the Sand of Hours in your hourglass by the time you beat the game and collect extra Sand from side quests. Within the Temple are "save zones" in which the clock freezes and enemies cannot touch you. By expertly maneuvering between these while solving various puzzles, as well as collecting golden pots that restore 15 or 30 seconds of your time, it is possible to reach the bottom of the Temple in 0 seconds (though it takes more like a half hour in real-time). This is a fun challenge for hardcore Zelda fans, and since it's a hard thing to do, it takes some time to perfect, so you can show off to your fellow Zelda-geeks.

Throughout the game, players can collect various parts to customize their ship. When using parts from the same set, the ship's stamina increases, the max being 8. While sailing the high seas, players can shoot down foes with the cannon, salvage treasure from the bottom of the sea, and even catch fish. Other seafarers offer side quests, treasure, and opportunity, and the Beadle is a traveling salesman selling potions, bomb bags, quivers, bombchu bags, treasures, and ship parts. Players can find fortunes on uncharted islands, some of which have mini games and others offer secrets and special abilites. (There's a really special island on the east side of the Northwest sea chart if you're playing The Phantom Hourglass and wondering what the jumping golden frogs are for ^_^. When solving the riddle, think whale)

The Phantom Hourglass also comes with a multiplayer Battle Mode, which is essentially a glorified cat-and-mouse game. Two players take turns in controlling Link or three "Phantoms," large, lumbering, armored beasts that possess immense strength. The player controlling Link must scurry to collect "Force Gems" of varying sizes (The larger they are, the more points they reward) and carry them back to their base. Larger gems are heavier, and therefore make Link slower, increasing the chance that he'll be hit by the Phantoms. The player controlling the Phantoms directs them by drawing paths on the touch screen. They cannot enter safe zones (Where the Force Gems start out) and move somewhat slowly. As a result, the player must use wits and cunning to trap Link and hit him. Once the timer of 120 seconds counts down to 0, or a Phantom hits link, players switch roles. Whomever has the most points in the end wins.

All in all, this is a very good game, arguably the best Nintendo DS game out there. I give it 6 out of 5. I'm quite addicted to it, and hope you become so too ^__^ If you're ever out there on the Nintendo Wi-Fi network, look me up. My friend code is 116118781820 and my username is Dachneon. Post a comment if you want to add me XD.

As I said other times, I was born a boob man. I have been admiring huge female breasts since the age of twelve, when Serena Grandi changed my life. Mandy Blake is one of those models that made me "evolve" beyond boobs. Mandy has big boobs nonetheless, but her most distinguishing feature is the meaty abundance below her tits. However, I didn't realize how attracted I was to that fleshy opulence: at the time I was only looking for big breasts. But for some reason Mandy instantly become one of my favorite models even if she didn't have the biggest and juiciest boobs.

Even more strangely, I thought she was my favorite because of her beautiful breasts. But now that I know better the subtle ways of seduction, I know how she conquered me. She conquered me with big boobs on top of a very wide, very curvy mountain of flesh.

Mandy drives you across lakes of soft flesh. She is a one-of-a-kind paradise, so let's follow the curves of her bubbly body. Starting from her long meaty legs she drives your senses to the ecstasy of her wide hips, which nowadays expand to the remarkable girth of 64 inches! And like Murciélago observes, this measure will probably grow in the future (I will have a separate post on Mandy remarkable growth soon).

Such a large ass leaves plenty of room to play with. She will easily wrap your lustful desire into her soft, recessed alcove, and keep you safe and sound inside her warm womb. You will indulge into her sumptuous thighs, so thick and buttery to look like massive pillows, lavishly padded with many generous pounds of cellulite. And you will grab those pillows of flab, you will squeeze them as you please and adore them until you die, for they are thick and heavy when they capture your whole body.

Then, looking up, you will admire the sublime proportions of those enormous hips, noticing they are large enough to provide a healthy foundation, so that everything above them has the chance to bloom and prosper. Admire the large masses of lard on those enormous buttocks, and applaud their ample shape! Mandy radiates Goddess-like beauty right from her hips.

Above all that hilly buttery landscape, her figure curves voluptuously into one of the most lavish, pulpy, mouthwatering gulfs you can encounter. It's the Waist Gulf, where the richest and warmest waves meet in the calm refuge between the womb and the milk farm.

That's what made me grow beyond boobs. Just look at the picture here. She is literally oozing lust. Ancient instincts are awakened. I see her laying on the pillows, and I want to mate and procreate. And it's not just the boobs: the boobs are beautiful, but they appear divine and so incredibly desirable because of the magnificence of her lower body.

It's all in those fantastic rolls. The first roll is a little chubby, delicate and smooth like a fresh lily. The second one is fuller, much thicker and exuding a lavish feeling of opulence as it covers the panties slip. The third, right above the thighs, looks like a deposit of lust. It is so fat that it bulges like a magnificent bag full of meat. You can even see the buttery bubbles of her copious cellulite. And after that, the infinite expanse of her wide breeding hips and her big, chunky thighs awaits you.

She is what I call a round pyramid of desire. First she reassures you with the mountains of flesh on her hips and thighs, and then if you still weren't convinced, she offers you the maternal temptation of her big fat boobs.

BMW has constructed a 12-metre-high glass hourglass (the world’s largest) against the backdrop of the Kremlin, St. Basil’s Cathedral and G.U.M. which was unveiled as the centerpiece of the Never Stand Still kick-off, party thrown for 400 invited guests and celebrities.

At the start of the build-up, more than 180,000 silver balls concealed the car, which was gradually unveiled as the balls fell to the lower level... making this reveal a thing of beauty, and in marked contrast to the ubiquitous, instant and cost-effective silk reveal. In other words, BMW has achieved standout.

I've played all of the console Zelda games, and some of the hand held ones. I initially missed out playing Link's Awakening on the Gameboy and Gameboy Color, going back and playing through about a third of it on my Gamecube's Gameboy Advance adapter. I can't say it compelled me to finish it. A little too dated and clunky I think, but I did play through Oracle of Ages for the GBA. That was an excellent hand held Zelda to play through, and I'm still planning on popping its complementary title Oracle of Seasons in my GBA adapter and playing that. I loved playing the original Link to the Past when they brought it to the GBA. It is an experience that can be replayed many times in console or hand held format.

What I love about hand held Zeldas, is that they carry on the mantle of the traditional perspective and gameplay found in the original Legend of Zelda on the NES, and of Link to the Past on the SNES, while the console Zeldas progress and refine the 3D adventures. Even if it seems that the spirit of Legend of Zelda games are threatened from time to time in the console 3D titles(Twilight Princess), having these hand held games to fall back on is sort of comforting.

The Minish Cap continued the proven consistency of the top-down perspective and “Link to the Past” style of graphics. As soon as I began playing it I felt instantly familiar with the universe it presented and had fun playing it. Besides the top-down perspective and graphics, I guess my familiarity with it made sense as it was developed by the same independent developer that developed Oracle of Ages(Flagship). The game was great dungeon and over world gaming from beginning to end. Well, the end of Minish Cap was excruciating in that the final boss(bosses?) were incredibly challenging. I tried to beat the final boss several times, and then had to give it about a months rest before I tackled it again and beat it. I would definitely play it again.

I hate judging a book by its cover, but I was skeptical of Phantom Hourglass from the first time I saw it, hell, I was skeptical of the DS from the first time I saw it. The bulk of my complaint springs from somewhat the same issue as I have with the Wii, but less so. I LIKE the stylus and touch screen controls on the DS, and the dual screens as well. I just don't want to see stylus controls being added to gameplay simply because they are there. I don't want to see vital gameplay elements adapted to merely take advantage of the hardware. Elite Beat Agents works awesome with the stylus, as does Brain Age and Clubhouse Games, but when New Super Mario Bros came out the stylus did not control Mario! Much like the traditional Zelda mechanics, 2D sidescrolling Mario games demand a certain control scheme...a directional pad and two buttons! New Super Mario Bros was a solid sidescroller.

The artwork troubled me right off the bat, because it was obvious they (Nintendo EAD Software Group No. 3) were cramming The Windwaker's graphical style into Phantom Hourglass. The characters in Phantom Hourglass weren't crisp and bold and colorful like they were in The Windwaker. The characters looked fuzzy, and only pseudo-cel-shaded. Phantom Hourglass was still top-down perspective, but definitely not the same graphical style. There are a lot of complaints about the sailing from place to place, which really didn't bother me. What bothered me was dragging the stylus around to move Link, and being forced to use stylus swipes to swipe my sword. Most of the time my meaty little fist holding the stylus was obscuring the screen in a way that I haven't noticed with other stylus-controlled games. I much prefer pressing a button to swipe my sword, and holding it in to perform a twirl attack. The only convenience I will concede(and that could've been made the only combat/control use for the stylus) is the secondary weapons like the boomerang and the grappling claw. Those worked really well, and I think enhanced the gameplay.

Other complaints that I've identified with are Link's rolling mechanic, and the Temple of the Ocean King. I like rolling Link into things to shake trees and such, but due to the crazy stylus input to perform this roll, I maybe did it twice, and those times were on accident. Having to endlessly revisit the Temple of the Ocean King and do timed stealth runs was pretty tedious, and not fun. It was okay when the phantom blade came around and I could actually kill those knights, but man, what an artificial game extender. Overall, I was definitely disappointed by this Zelda release. I really hope the hand held Zeldas don't proceed in this same fashion. My recommendation is to go back and play some other hand held Zelda, namely the Oracle series or Minish Cap. Those were real Zelda games.

Clicking and clanking down the sea blue patent runway for John Galliano’s “fresh couture

Clicking and clanking down the sea blue patent runway for John Galliano's "fresh couture - restrained and refined" is a cocktail of fluff, bounce, and gravity defying architectural compositions which are showcased by flawlessly sleek models whose countenance looks almost artificial. Spectators, including myself, are raising heads and dropping their jaws over his refreshingly timely, yet sultry (and revealing below the waist) feminine masterpieces designed for Dior.

As the already dwindling economy continues to step down its ladder, those who could once freely indulge in couture in exchange for a couple thousand dollars now face a restricting budget. Thus, now is not the time to aim for a piece that's excessively flamboyant because the consequence of owning a one hit wonder is a wound, too brutal to quickly heal, on your bank account. History repeats itself, especially the history of trends in fashion. Novelty trends are deeply buried in the forgotten soils of fashion's past (and unfortunate amounts of money wasted in the consumption of these horrors), but the highly respected and beauty-inducing styles often resurrect decades after its prime - fresh outside of one's predecessor's closet.

Thankfully, these designs reminisce and modernly reconstruct the top styles of each decade from the twentieth century: ball gowns layered and wrapped in tulle, wasp waist, not-so-flapping flapper dress(which seem to be lacking the usual bead count), thigh high tiers, scalp sleek hairdos, glossy stockings, and countless adaptations of the hourglass silhouettes. The wasp waist in particular has recently exploded in the return of high waisted pencil jeans and 50s inspired, skin tight one-piece bathing suits, which Galliano used as a foundation to his revealing dresses. Though one would comment that a bathing suit veiled with a layer or two of tulle would be a lousy excuse for anything formal, Galliano's couture proves that there are miracles. A hybrid between the 1920s spiral train and the flair of the Little Mermaid's tail, the waist down portion of one particular dress swishes in a mesmerizing fashion. So mesmerizing, it's a device that conjures onlookers to unconsciously swing their heads like a pendulum, observing the fine floral details in the free-flowing excess of the skirt and the complex pleats only a perfectionist could master. This dress reveals a super power of its own: its talent to unsuspectingly trance the eyes it captures and fixating their mind into complete admiration over its potentially reached sophistication.

If anything, the outlines of many of these pieces brings my mind back to the scene in My Fair Lady where at the Ascot Racecourse, Eliza Dolittle congregates with an elite bunch of elegantly dressed women in white, decked out in the most luxurious and feminine fabrics and cuts one could possibly think of - especially the asymmetrical lace tiers lightly sitting on its mummy-tight dress.

Many of these tiers look similar to an inverted flower, spilling out additional - transparent - lengths to prevent the outfit from looking scandalous. Some redefine the look of a modern, working women. One piece, plastered in black, binds the arm and chest with nothing but ruffles in the front, bundled up in what I assume will be the contemporary girdle which consists of not only the actual body-alterator itself, but thick petals shooting out of each possible side and redefining the way we look at a female's hips.

To see all this is refreshing to me, as I fear the thought of quickly jumping into a pair of crotch-dropped pants, unfitting for my petite figure. I admire the most sophisticated styles of the past, and Galliano implants this sudden nostalgia back into me. With styles like these slowly dominating the streets, as well as the sudden wave of conservative sophistication, the future looks bright as the designer's of tomorrow are driven towards the mission to bring out all the beauty a women could extract.

This fun and classy outfit is flattering for inverted triangle figures: it visually slims the shoulders, the color and shape of the cropped pants adds volume in the hips balancing the body. Other body types this outfit works for is balanced body types, hourglass (note: I would go with the darker color pants to slim the hips), and tubular body types.

Body Variations This Outfit Conceals

- A short/wide neck; the bare chest visually lengthens the neck.

- Long arms; the bracelets break the long line of the arm causing it to appear smaller.

- Long legs; the cropped pants break the line of the legs causing them to appear shorter; the shoes help create the same effect.

Your body type is determined by the width of your hips and shoulders, your bone size and your weight distribution. There are at least 8 distinct body types: diamond, oval, tubular, hourglass, balanced, rectangle, inverted triangle and triangle.

How can you determine your body type? Here are the basic characteristics of each.

Diamond- waist extends beyond the hips and shoulders. Generally have slim hips and legs.

Oval- an all over roundness.

Tubular- a thinner version of the rectangle (see below).

Hourglass- curvy, hips and shoulders match in width, a very narrow waist.

Balanced- hips and shoulders match in width, a small waist but not extreme like the hourglass.

Rectangle- has very little or no definition in waist. Hips and shoulders are generally equal in width.

Inverted Triangle- shoulders are wider than hips.

Triangle- hips are wider than shoulders.

Just recently I got a Nintendo DS!! It's so awesome! I got ZELDA: The Phantom Hourglass, and later, Kirby: Squeak Squad to play on it! It is so advanced! It has a microphone, and Z uses it frequently. There's a point in the game where there's something on the top screen, and you have to close the system (without turning it off) to transfer it from the top to the bottom screen!

I also found a funny glitch in the Hourglass game. In the Ocean King Temple, where you have to get the Force Gems, if you kill the phantom, so that he drops the key, don't get the key until you get the closest force gem (bottom right). Now, go get the key!! The animation is hilarious! You see Link showing the key in pride as the Force Gem hovers over his head! But, here's the clincher!! As soon as the short animation is over, the gem is on the ground again!

Anyways, I really love this game, it's so much fun. It's very challenging, but it is very good.

'Don't forgo your diet just because Whitney wins ANTM 10!' quips my husband Mr. Big Z while I was happily munching on IKEA's delicious currypuff.

'HEEE' I grin widely!

I watched the America's Next Top Model finale yesterday. Although I was not rooting for anybody to win, I couldn't help but feeling slightly excited that a 'full-figured' model won the show

Any full-figured/curvy woman living in the 20th century would know how challenging and often limiting it is to buy clothes. For example, just walk through any departmental stores, and look at the blouses collection. Most of it would be short-above-the-butt cut. Well, if you have ample butt, that is not the most flattering look for you. Yeah, they have slighty longer cut blouses, but most of it would make you look like some frumpy makcik! (and boy I can't tell you how many times that has happened to me). And don't even get me started on the carrot cut jeans! Needless to say, shopping can be a bit frustrating for fuller-figured women who has a liking for fashion (me!).

As I said before, there can also be good in commercialism, (to a certain degree), and hopefully this can be a further push to a more inspiring lines of clothing for everage-sized, full-figured women. There's only so much dieting and working out a woman can do. If you are an hourglass, you will always have hip!

Howdy all! Today I'm going to share with you a FAQ about where every Spirit Gem can be found in Phantom Hourglass. This FAQ was created by Super Slash and is very helpful. Thanks Super Slash!!!

================
I. Introduction
================

This FAQ was made because many people seem to have trouble with finding all of
the Spirit Gems in the game, so I decided to make it. Please note that you
shouldn't email me about me being too vague with the locations or something,
because I did the best I could to type them up. Feel free to email me with
corrections or something, though. With that said, let the guide begin.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

====================
II. Spirit Gem List
====================

In this section, I will list the locations of the Power, Wisdom, and Courage
Gems in the game. These are also known as Spirit Gems. What are their use, you
ask? Well, south of Molida Island is a hidden island known as the Spirit
Island. There, you can trade in your Spirit Gems to gain new abilities for
Link, which can be really useful. There are 20 of each gem, To find the Spirit

*Written early March 2008"

No matter how much or how long you prepare yourself, breaking up is so hellish to do.

Nalilito ako
Nais kong sagipin ang ating
Nalulunod na pag-ibig
Ngunit handa akong
Palayain ka
-Paramita, "Hiling" [Tala]

I'm confused
I wish to save
Our drowning love
Yet I'm prepared
To set you free

I've been so cold the past week, so cold that I almost never felt my own heartbeat. I've been losing love for my boyfriend of two years. His name is Cort. It was a week before our second anniversary. I would have been excited had not for this growing apathy. I try to imagine how we'd celebrate it but all that fill my mind are clouds. I try to remember his touches; the first time he embraced me to keep me warm, the first time he carried me, the first time he kissed me by the steeples... Yet it all felt like a faraway memory, like a mist I can never hold.

Maybe I was just falling out of love. Maybe my heart was filled with more emptiness because of his absence. Then I had an epiphany. I realized that it's probably time to end it. A relationship without communication and passion is useless. Never mind that he was my first boyfriend who treated me like a queen. Never mind that he's the first man I've made love with and I to him. Never mind that we had a long-term relationship of two years.

My phone rang. It was Cort. I let it sit for a few seconds before answering it. The unreadiness suddenly caught me. Then with trembling hands I answered it and heard his wavering voice. He asked how I was doing. He said that the past days he never heard from me were inner torture to him. He said he couldn't sleep for two days straight without hearing my voice. He felt lost without me.

I was supposed to be harboring the opposite yet the hourglass was suddenly turned. My emotions deluged. "Let's end this," I told him in my erratic tone. "I'm growing cold. I no longer want an empty relationship."

My inner self then began a sudden internal dialogue. It felt like two personalities in one body holding a judicial trial against one another. Both personalities were in all aspects the same.

Why am I feeling broken? I wanted this for a long while now.

I thought of breaking up without fear or favor. Why am I suddenly falling apart?

I've taken a week to harden myself. Why am I being taken over by grief?

"Let's end this," I repeated, this time not only throat hurt but my eyes began to sting too. I unknowingly felt them water. "I don't want this anymore," The tears then turned into rivers. "I'm tired of loving you already," and with that I completely succumbed.

Silence was the only response from him at first. My sentiments were the same. Nothing. It felt like half an eternity until I heard Cort's voice. He didn't sound normal.

"Alouette, why? We're just about to celebrate our second anniversary. Why now on the night before?"

I didn't know what to say. I couldn't bear to tell him that I chose the exact date of our anniversary for this divergence making it two exact revolutions. It just so happened he called a night ahead. I couldn't bear to tell him that I felt like I'd thrown away two years for a love without direction.

"Please don't give up on us. Don't give up on me. Please..."

He pleaded. I could sense him setting aside his masculinity just to let me stay. I felt powerless. I felt like whatever I could say would worsen this. I didn't know if I should tighten this knot or cut it for good. All I could do was cry.

"I don't know what I'd do without you. I'm sorry I neglected you. I'm sorry I'd rather load my account in Perfect World than my cellphone to text you. I'm sorry I left you alone. Please don't leave me. I love you Alouette. You know that."

I felt the hourglass turning again, the sudden stream of the sands that changed my emotions. I felt the apathy diminish. I felt myself being overwhelmed with childlike emotions. Suddenly I refuse to let go. I held my phone closer to my ear and cried away once more.

"You crazy bitch..." he whispered. "I was even hoping I'd hear an anniversary greeting from you. Instead I'll hear you wanting to break up." His voice was composed once more. "Your final exams are nearing, right? For now I'll just wish you luck..."

And with that I pressed the reject button on my Sony Ericsson phone.

Nanlalamig na ba ang pag-ibig mo?
Is your love growing cold?

There I sat at the back of my church at my usual spot. There I cried alone, not caring whether the passers-by could see or hear me snuffling. I leaned my forehead on my knees and cried away like a lost child. I held my phone close to my heart, vaguely waiting for it to ring again and see Cort's name on the screen.

Then it came, the realization. Cort may not have been with me physically but emotionally, he was there all the way. Whenever I had breakdowns and unrelenting tears, he'd let me cry to him and he won't hold back. He'll just remain silent and let me cry away for as long as I want.

The hourglass turned again. This time it deluged the fine sands of guilt. I was reminded of Cort's love and support for the past two years. Why should I leave him? He never left me. He may not have always been with me physically but his emotional presence far outweighed his physical absence. Breaking up with him was such a selfish and impulsive thought.

With a deep breath I called him again. In less than a moment he answered. He seemed calm and composed now. "I'm sorry, Cort." I said, I found my self stiffling a tearful chuckle. "I'm so sorry I scared you. I thought about how you were always there for me. I thought, hey! Cort never abandoned me. Why should I do the same? I'm not breaking up with you now. You're worth more than any guy I've known."

I heard him make a light chuckle too. "Thank you, Alouette. But I'm still gonna get even with you for scaring me like hell."

"I'd be delighted..."

We just laughed and teased each other unreasonably. We were so glad that we've settled another misunderstanding. For the past two years, Cort and I never had a long-term argument. Never were there times when we were already yelling and ignoring each other.

"I love you Cort."

"I love you too Alouette."
