This is Kristen Kreuk, (aka chick from Smallville) playing Chun Li from the video game series Street Fighter, (aka chick with short skirt that made SEGA so much more entertaining). She got that disappointed child on Christmas morning grill.

Final word? Shes hot, I'm watching it!

“Here is what you need to know” is really appropriate here-Smallville has been on the air too long. The ratings are basically awful as the show sits near the bottom of all network shows and the formula has just been done to death. The season opener tries to “reboot” the series as numerous characters have fled, I mean left, the show. Gone are Lux Luther played by Michael Rosenbaum, Lionel Luthor played by John Glover, Kara (aka Supergirl) played by Laura Vandervoort and long time Smallville staple Lana Lang played by Kristen Kreuk. Read more here.

After all this time I thought I might as well have another bash at doing a blog. I have actually been pretty active on the ICT front. Lots of learning and development. That’s something I have had a problem with in the past. Plenty of approach play but no delivery. Too caught up with figuring out how to make everything perfect to actually make things happen.

Anyway I’m now turning over a new leaf and I’m trying to get some material into the blog. So I’ll see how it goes.

The internet seems to have given legs to an evolving sociological phenomenon. Are we in uncharted territory with this. I’m starting to wonder whether there might be some sort of hive mind developing. As humans increasingly become able to instanteoulsy communicate in real time all over the globe, are we evolving a new form of consciousness. Are there previous parallels which we have not previously looked at in this light. I would venture to suggest that financial markets and commodity markets were the precursors of the current phenomenon. So what is the global sociological equivalent of boom-bust. And where will it all end. Looks like more research ahead.

Also want to look at history. A couple of thoughts. Can we be any surer of retrospective views than prospective views. We certainly cannot predict the future; but can we be fully confident in our ability to retrace and interpret the past. The problem is that we’re taught history as if it is clear at the time that an event is making history. But it’s a little bit like being the grain of sand which starts an avalanche. It has no idea until after the event and even then it may not know. Large parts of existence may just be arbitrary. I can see lots of dense, turgid books looming in my future.

Here’s an entirely gratuitous image of Kristin Kreuk :-)

imdb rating: 7.9/10 (putin dupa parerea mea)

With the fall TV season approaching, I’ve been checking in on a few shows that I watch regular

With the fall TV season approaching, I've been checking in on a few shows that I watch regularly for some status updates. And there's a heck of a lot happening around one of my personal favourites, Smallville.

Cast changes are nothing new to the show. Pete Ross and both Kent parents have departed from the show, as have bit players like Lana's high school boyfriend Whitney Fordman and the original town sheriff (whose name escapes me). But as the show enters its eighth (and likely final) season, there are massive changes on the horizon. Kara (aka Supergirl), Lex Luthor and Lana Lang will not be returning as regulars for the final season. Add in the fact that Lionel Luthor left the show during Season 7 and you have a seriously depleted cast. We are essentially left with Clark, Chloe, Lois and Jimmy Olsen as the only truly remaining core characters.

I won't miss Supergirl; I don't feel she added much depth to the show, and the actress didn't seem to be able to do much with the character. And Lana's character ran her course, she was due to leave. But losing Lex... you can't have Yin without Yang. His departure will ultimately affect the show even more than the departure of developers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Which brings up another point, they had always insisted on "no tights, no flights" for Clark Kent. This may change now that they are off the show, which could be good or bad.

Season 8 will also feature some other interesting twists. Smallville featured a one-off "Justice League" created from a collection of super heroes introduced at various points in the show's history; Green Arrow, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. Apparently, this Justice League (likely consisting of Arrow, Aquaman and Martian Manhunter) will become more formal, especially now that Green Arrow is a regular on the series. As a comic fan, I can honestly say this intrigues me. I love the idea of a live-action Justice League show... but I don't know if I like it at the expense of the Smallville series I have watched regularly over the past seven years. It will be interesting to see how this affects the series.

Finally, there was another piece of news that I didn't quite know how to react to; Doomsday is coming to Smallville. The very same Doomsday that killed Superman back in the early 1990s (in the comics). Ironically, Doomsday came about because the Lois & Clark series scuttled DC's original plans to have the comic Superman and Lois get married. However, plans were changed when ABC wanted the on-screen version to get married first. So DC regrouped and ended up doing the Death of Superman storyline, which single-handedly reworked much of 1990s DC mythology (which I won't go into here). Anyhow, this Doomsday character will apparently have an alter-ego who is an "easy-going paramedic". This sounds a little like an evil version of the Incredible Hulk... which makes me cringe in anticipation of an on-screen Doomsday that might almost be as bad as the film version of Bane from Batman & Robin.

There are plenty of changes coming; Smallville might be barely recognizable compared to even the most recent season. Will I like it? I have no idea. Will I be entertained? I sincerely hope so. But more importantly... will I watch? Oh hell yeah.

What the 1994 Street Fighter live action movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme has taught me is to look at the brighter side of things.

It has been hit-or-miss with videogame movies. Despite the reviews, 'Dead or Alive' did have a few classy action sequences and the Mortal Kombat films - while perhaps home to some of the most painfully spoken dialogue in Hollywood history - still stays true to the game series. Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li (why can't I stop laughing every time I read that title), does have some respectable players behind it. Michael Clarke Duncan plays Balrog and Chris Klein plays Nash (Presume Guile's friend, Charlie). Then there's the issue of Kristen Kreuk; the Smallville lady is filling in for the role of thigh-master Chun-Li. There are a lot of opinions about whether she has the physique to play the role - she's arguably small and it may look unbelievable when she stands to fight, say, Michael Clarke Duncan. Than again, I sincerely doubt anyone who pays to this will care about whether any of it resembles reality.

Capcom released an early shot of Ms. Kreuk and, well, it doesn't really answer any of the concerns flaring through messageboards and blog communities. It seems most SF diehards want to see her below the waist, and not (necessarily) for perverted reasons, but to see whether she can legitimately sell the lightning and spinning fly kicks Chun-Li is famous for. I'm guessing she will; but then again, I don't have any plans to watch this film.

Street Fighter fan that I am, I'm somewhat disappointed by what Capcom is doing to the franchise. SF4 has me less than excited. While it's great to see the series back, the art direction seems to be quite off. All the characters appear to be either on steroids or grossly disproportional. I understand the original Alpha/Zero and 2-series weren't exactly playing off realism, but SF4 seems to take the proportions to the realm of Gears of War. If that was a move to appease the Western market, then Capcom might have sold-out its fanbase for the sake of mass-appeal (and of course, there's nothing wrong with that - SF4 is a commercial product, after all). I would have preferred to see SF4 keep the Alpha art direction and move towards a Soul Calibur, 3-D plane. Instead, I feel all SF4 accomplishes is SF2 in a mock-3-D environment. It's like Viewtiful Joe on steroids -- but only in a much more restricted scenery. It's a 99% graphical overhaul and a 1% gameplay change. I guess as a numbered sequel, I wanted more. Arguably, 3rd Strike was far more revolutionary - the characters might not have all been as memorable, but compared to SF4's roster (which is essentially SF2's), it's at least something "new".

For SF enthusiasts, I'd recommend checking out Street Fighter Eternal Challenge, a collection of artwork and character information. Nowhere has more SF data been collected. The book is out of print so it's been selling on eBay and Amazon for astronomical prices ($150-200), but you might be able to find it for less. There are rumors Udon will reprint it for the 20th Anniversary, but it's looking less likely given Udon is publishing a different SF book entirely. This one looks cool, but it's not the historic analysis/look that Eternal Challenge is.

3 - Somewhere underneath this scary, furry face is that of Benecio Del Toro. These are the first full shots of him for his upcoming role as The Wolfman. My only real hope for the movie is at some point the wolfman stands alone on the top of a cliff, basking under the moonlit sky, mumbling to himself. Then someone walks up to him and asks him to speak more clearly, at which point he replies, "Hand me the keys, you f*ckin's c*cks*cker". [via FilmDrunk]

4 - If one thing is going right in this world it is the reports about the new Street Fighter movie. They have more secured casting details, which easily the highlight of is Kristen Kreuk as Chun-Li, but the more important news is the story will surround her character. The other players in the game will be antagonists or side characters to help her along. Maybe it's because Kreuk is unexplainably adorable, maybe it's because I thought Chun-Li was the most fun character to play in the game, or maybe there are deep seeded issues at work. Either way, I grin mightily. Here she is, by the way, in case you don't know who I'm talking about: [via ComingSoon]

Scooter Libby has now been officially disbarred from practicing law in Washington D.C.. I dream of a world where this is only the beginning of people in the Bush/Cheney camp being held accountable for the laws they have continuously flouted during the eight years of ineptitude we've suffered through as a country. Karma's a bitch, Libby. [via CNN]

6 - Celebrating the five year anniversary of the Iraq War, our present to ourselves is the new low for Bush's approval rating. I would have been happier if this benchmark of his stupidity was brought about sooner, since it is not uncommon for an outgoing president to have low ratings, or that of one who has led us into a deadly and unwinnable war (Lyndon Johnson suffered the same drop during the Vietnam war, remember how that one ended?) So here's my virtual birthday card: "Happy Birthday, Iraq War! P.S. I never liked you. And I stole this card so I didn't even spend money on you."
8 - I actually think this is a little piece of brilliance. You can hire this company, MethodIzaz, to basically stalk you, grabbing artistic shots of you that involve no posing or staging. They try to capture the real person in their most relaxed and true state. It's a great photographic experiment, my only problem is they are staged in New York, so I imagine my fee for hiring them to come out here would be rather large. Ah well, if you live in the NY area, check them out. [via swissmiss]

9 - This list has an amazing collection of typography videos done to major speeches in films.
10 - Unfortunately I found this a little late in the game, but there are still a few days for people to participate. Please check the home website for The Tap Project to see if there is a restaurant near you participating. If not, you can also just donate directly to the cause. Seriously, one dollar to you is over a month of clean drinking water for someone else.

After a long hiatus... I'm back to post. There has been quite a drought in new posts and that's because of two words: Law School. After making one of the most monumental (and may I say very expensive) shifts in my life, the notion of writing about videogames unfortunately took a literal backseat. Life as a 1L is tough -- but while the workload and hours are long the satisfaction of being back in an academic setting is invigorating in many ways. Sure, life as a student after years in the work force is sometimes daunting but I wouldn't trade a day to have come earlier. IMHO, the perspective I have from having a professional career before law school gives me mental freedom, patience, and discipline. Freedom to think about other things, patience to learn, and discipline to master. I suppose in some ways, it's like tackling a new videogame.

New posts will probably come slower but rest assured the Green Pipe remains active. There have certainly been some major developments in the industry since my last few rants. Most notable are three:

1. The slow but sure rise of the PS3 (which BTW I talked about a long time ago). Sony's console is starting to gain momentum but unlike EGM, which seemed quick to reverse opinion in its recent cover story, I'm not entirely sold that this PS3 comeback will be the equivalent of Gandalf's march upon the Two Towers at the end of the second LOTR movie. Without a doubt, there are some key software releases coming this year, MGS4 the obvious poster child. But while I'm excited about this game, I think this is an example of the industry clamoring over a game the majority of the public doesn't care as much about. The Metal Gear series saw its high-days with MGS2; fact is MGS3 never really caught on in terms of sales. Some argue that it was because the title was coached between GTA and Halo 2, but that to me sounds like a copout. If Metal Gear is so big and popular, it should have kept its own. After all, it wasn't as if the coverage and advertising was any less (I can recall the barrage of MGS3 ads in countless magazines). That's why MGS4 isn't likely to put up the numbers of Halo 2 or 3. I'd even hint that MGS4 may not move as many consoles as people want to believe. Solid Snake doesn't scream the same cool mystique that Master Chief embodies, and well, even Sony and Konami together can't quite match the powerhouse marketing force that is Microsoft. And if MGS4 doesn't move the needle that much, then is PS3 really the comeback kid? Maybe still. But I'd position PS3's rise as more of an indication of how weak the 360 remains -- in other words, it's not that the PS3 is getting better, it's actually that the 360 isn't really striking a Toyota! momentum. More on that in future posts.

2. Oh, HD-DVD, we hardly knew ye'. I think it was quite apparent the format started out with a peg-leg when the 360 opted against making it the console's format of choice. Face it, the outcome of this war might have been very different if there were 5-10MM 360 equipped with HD-DVD playback. Movie studios - the fickle giants that they are - might have seen better HD-DVD sales over Blu-Ray (an almost given since 360 would have been on the market longer) and kept its support with the format. Sony's climb then would have been steeper, and hey, may be those price points on the PS3 would have dropped even faster.

Of course, one can look at MS' decision now and insist it was a "smart" move. What if HD-DVD still lost? Then the 360 would be toast. That argument certainly has merit and as a company wanting to put out a game console, I suppose the last thing it needs is an achilles heel that isn't even tied to content. There is a long list of reasons why HD-DVD probably would have lost even if 360 supported it out of the gate. But then again, there are also a lot of maybes that suggest HD-DVD could have put up a formidable fight if MS had acted otherwise. We'll never know. Regardless how you feel, the truth is the next 360 will probably run on a Sony-owned format. There is admittedly something both ironic and humbling in that prospect. Competitors on the outside, sleeping together on the inside; who says there's no drama and infidelity in the gaming world?

And *finally* 3. the meteoric rise of Nintendo Gamecube 2.0 ... I mean, the Wii. I'm actually not at all surprised by the Wii's success, and I think many of us who follow games closely knew Nintendo had a hit in the making, though even I'm taken aback by the level of success the House of Mario has reached in the past 4-6 mos. Everyone keeps asking whether Wii can sustain the momentum and I'm not so sure that's the right question we should be debating. The real question should be broader, as in can the entire industry sustain the momentum it has with the casual gamer? Because that's the real issue; the Wii has done a phenomenal job in enlarging the gaming circle, but can Nintendo AND its competitors reap the rewards and keep them there? That's a very tough question, and it's interesting to see all the companies trying to woo the casual market at this year's GDC. The community arcade from MS to WiiWare from Nintendo are good moves, but there are real questions as to whether the industry is taking the time to ensure that casual gamers understand all this (remember who we're dealing with here) and there are serious questions about what these moves are doing to each company's bread and butter. For Nintendo, it's the loyalists who want only to play Zelda, Mario and Metroid -- Is a bigger remake of SSBM and SM Galaxy enough? For MS, do its Halo faithful really care that Xbox can render board games in HD? And do Sony players really want to see and interact with pimple-faced teens and moms singing Britney songs via SingStar? It's a tough scale to balance, and with limited resources, the gambles each camp is making is definitely one reason why we're seeing fewer releases *we* (and I say we as in mainstay gamers) care about. And it may also explain the increasing "clone effect". Flip through a game magazine today and you may have to do a doubletake to make sure you're looking at more than two games from two genres: racing and FPS. There's nothing like saving money when multiple titles can be released running on the same engines and the same third-party renderware. It's a telling sign something's up. Is it the trend for the future? Hard to say for sure. If the Wii movement continues, it might be. Whether that's necessarily a bad thing is once again the wrong question. The question is whether the pool of hardcore or moderate gamers keep up the giant's share of profits. If many of us fall out and start to lose interest (come on, how many Resistance sequels do I really need?), then the console audience may truly change once again over the next 5 years. By the time the next set of consoles rollout, don't be surprised if everyone takes a Wii approach in terms of technology.

Finally, I can't help but at least mention that Kristen Kreuk of Smallville "fame"will play Chun-Li in the upcoming Street Fighter film. If you saw DOA and could at least appreciate the martial arts action, I suppose you'll enjoy this film. I have a hard time believing it'll be as bad as the first Street Fighter film with Jean Claude (and Kylie Minogue as ... Cammy?!). But I have to admit, it'll be hard for this new film to beat out one of my all-time favorite lines from that flick; it's when Jean Claude (who plays Guile, BTW) says: I'm going to kick Bison's ass so hard the next Bison-wannabe is gonna feel it.

Any line as MacBaine-ish as that will just sound weird coming out of Kreuk's mouth. At least she looks the part (above).

So I’m sure some of you must have heard that there is a new Street Fighter movie in development with a target release date of 2009, “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li”. For those of you that haven't heard, please take a moment for the ZOMFG to sink in. Finished? Okay...

Typically, movies based on video games don’t fare too well, and movies based on video games that are not particularly plot heavy tend to be even more problematic. And let’s also not forget that a previous attempt at a live-action Street Fighter movie was generally considered by most to be an outright disaster.

Despite all this, accomplished action movie director Andrzej Bartkowiak (Doom, Cradle 2 The Grave, Exit Wounds, Romeo Must Die) is signed on to the project, which is being produced by Twentieth Century Fox. A partial cast list has been released, so we’ve made our best guesses as to what parts everyone will be playing.

We already know that Kristen Kreuk (Smallville) has been cast in the titular role as Chun Li. Focusing on the plot line of this one character is probably the best news yet for fans of the series, as Chun Li has one of the most coherent plotlines in the canon.

Chris Klein has been cast as Nash, which is the Japanese name for the character we know as Charlie. Charlie is a war buddy of Guile’s that Chun Li is tracking because of his undercover connection with M. Bison, the man Chun Li seeks to enact revenge for the murder of her father.

Michael Clarke Duncan will be playing the part of Balrog, one of M. Bison’s personal bodyguards. MCD is always good, too bad He'll probably have a pretty small role in this.

Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas is cast in the film as well. One can only assume that he will be playing Vega. He’s got long, luxurious hair, and his face is probably best covered up with a mask. Really, the dude is unfortunate looking.

Rick Yune will be playing the part of Gen, the kung fu master that trained Chun Li. Which is weird because Gen is supposed to be like 100 years old but whatever.

Edmund Chen will most likely be playing the part of Ryu, and will very likely be developed into some sort of love interest for Chun Li.

I’m going to guess that Moon Bloodgood will be Cammy, the brainwashed clone enforcer of M. Bison that Chun Li has run ins with throughout the series. This would keep in line with the military/Shadowloo (M. Bison’s criminal organization) theme of the film that seems to be developing.

The only other actor that has not already been assigned a character is Pei-pei Cheng. The only obvious role for her would have to be Sakura. Sakura is a plucky young fan of Ryu that could serve as a comical sidekick and strengthen the connection between Chun Li and Ryu.

We still don’t know who will be playing M. Bison. Personally, I’d be pulling for Gary Oldman, myself. Or Clive Owen, it’s about time he played a really bad guy. Henry Rollins would be rad. The Rock may as well be Sagat now that Dolph Lundgren is getting a bit oldish. Owen Wilson as Ken would be funny, and I wouldn’t mind Jason Statham as Guile if he got some hair plugs for his bald-ass head. But let’s just leave the really corny characters out of this one, what do you say? That means no Blanka, E. Honda, Zangief or Dhalsim. This movie is guaranteed to be better without any green, hairy men or sumo wrestlers showing up for absolutely no goddamn reason like in the last Street Fighter movie.

It's not that cold people. Everyone here is wrapped up like its 20 below. It's amazing how comfortable a winter this is for me, and I'm not even from that cold of a place (maryland, usa) I wonder if that happens in every culture, the calibration of what is cold and what is hot in each individual is based on their own locations extremes? I think my head just exploded thinking about it.

Funny thing today. In class I had a question about who do you live with? To be funny, I said I live with Mika Nakashima. He laughed and I said ok your turn. His response, i live with Jodie Foster. LOL. I mean she's ok... but a little old for a couple of early 2o's guys lol. It was just surprising to me. There are plenty of better American stars..kruek...portman...but I guess Jodie is ok lol.

In my kids class today the craziest thing happened. We were flipping coins and learning about heads and tails. So when we first started, tails came TWENTY times in a row before heads was landed. Crazy.

Ian Malcom ur thoughts?

"The odds of that happening are .0000009%."

Order of importance in Jurassic Park: 1. Ian Malcom, 2. Dinosaurs, 3. Dr. Grant

I'm tired so time for some music....Kamelot with " Ghost Opera" Rock Out. Later.

Smallville – Wrath aired in the US 11/08/07

In this episode Lana takes another step towards super-villaindom. In a freak accident in which Lana and Clark are both struck by lightning while Lana is holding a meteor, Lana receives Clark’s powers. This time around Clark actually keeps his powers, but now Lana has them as well. Of course one of the first things that they do is have super-sex, wouldn’t you? It actually causes seismic tremors throughout Smallville; as if Superman needs a reason to feed his ego. However, it did serve its purpose; it was a shameless way to introduce Chloe into the situation. She quickly finds out that Lana has attained Clark’s powers and warns her about the hazards involved, namely orgasmic earthquakes.

Chloe has a one-on-one girl chat with Lana about having these powers. Lana goes a little nuts and starts talking about using these powers to spy on people and do all kinds of uber-spy stuff. Chloe’s reaction was not nearly as freaked out as it should have been in my opinion but I guess by this point Chloe has seen and heard it all.

One of the first things that Lana does is go to her command central and do some spying on Lex. While doing so, she see’s him and one of his researchers discussing the meteor dust…

Meteor dust – this meteor dust apparently is evolving, it is no longer even dust, it has transformed into liquid and is showing signs of being a sentient being.

Lana breaks into Lex’s house and steals a hard drive containing all of the data and reports regarding this dust. She then takes it to Lois and the Daily Planet to try and get them to run the story portraying Lex as the bad guy they all think he still is. The Daily Planet refuses to run the story based on the stolen hard-drive. In the argument Lana get’s mad and kicks Lois through a window. Cool scene but completely unnecessary, which is compounded by other pointless Lois events I will discuss in a minute.

When Lana sees that she will get no help from the Planet she decides that she is going to take matters into her own hands and goes after Lex.

Side Note: Lois goes to the hospital for her injuries, then is immediately seen sneaking out of the hospital. Why go to the hospital and then immediately sneak out? It did however, lead to a scene between Lois and the chief of the Dailey Planet and long story short, by the end of the episode they are kissing. I won’t go into any more detail because it was completely irrelevant to everything else about this episode and was not very well written.

Meanwhile, back at the farm, Clark and Lex have a conversation regarding Lana and Clark’s ability to trust her. Lex tells him about the Isis foundation and how Lana broke into his home and stole from him, etc. He then goads Clark about how Lana can’t seem to stay away from him and still as feelings for him. Clark at this point realized that there are some things about Lana that he doesn’t know. He goes to check out the Isis foundation with Chloe and finds the secret super-villain lair. Clark and Chloe have a minor freak out and use Lana’s equipment to track her to Lex.

Here is where Lana becomes a bad, bad girl. It was very awesome to see her with Clark’s powers whooping up on Lex. It is the best scene of the show, not because we saw Lana tossing Lex around; it was an awesome scene because we see Lex begin to play mind games with Lana pushing her towards the super-villain side. At one point he tries to convince her that he is researching the aliens in order to be able to protect humanity in the long run. It is a classic; “I am doing what I have to do” very ends justify the means conversation. That is the cornerstone of a super-villains fall to evil. There is always a scenario where they have to cross the moral line to protect someone they love. That is usually what puts them over the edge. It ended surprisingly with Lex talking to Lana about how she can’t keep away from him because he “understands” her, they “understand” each other and then Lex starts kissing Lana, let me add that for a girl with Super-human powers, she didn’t put up much of a fight from the kiss.

Clark shows up and saves the day, typically, he also manages to reverse the accident that gave Lana his powers but not before another great dialogue between Lana and Clark. One in which she basically calls Clark a coward. She tells him that all of the things that she has been doing, kidnapping Lionel, attacking Lex were all efforts to “clean up [his] mess”. She tells Clark that if he had the guts to take care of Lex a long time ago that none of this would have happened. She says that he hides behind his farm and small town life so he doesn’t have to be proactive against people like Lex.

During the struggle the Super-liquid that they were researching gets loose and is seen later in the show attaching to a lab tech. It was very reminiscent of Venom/Spiderman kind of thing. I was a little disappointed but I don’t really know how else they would have utilized the liquid if it didn’t eventually take control over someone’s body.

Of course when it is all said and done, everything gets blamed on the meteor and Clark and Lana make up. Lana just wants to know that no matter what happens Clark will still love her. The episode ends before he actually gives her an answer. I don’t know if we were to assume that they went and had “not-quite” super sex, or if maybe some irreparable damage has been done that Clark needs to think about. I think that this is another insight into the fall of Lana Lane. I think that this notion of, Clark will not ever do what is necessary and it is up to me is something that we will continue to see develop.

Chloe talks to Lana about what happened and expresses her concern that all of Lana’s actions over the past few months is detrimental to Clark and that she will not let Lana do anything that will destroy Clark. It is one of those classic “claws-out”, don’t mess with me moments on the part of both women. I really think that Chloe is in for a Lana-whooping pretty soon.

I had previously predicted that Chloe and Lana would end up at odds over the foundation, which did not play out how I thought. Clark found out about the foundation and Lana’s spying much sooner than I anticipated, but trust me everything I see points towards a war between Chloe and Lana. I am reaching here but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Chloe-Lana war blow up, Clark will take Lana’s side and Chloe will end up having to go to Lex for help. Lex will absolutely help her and will try and use the situation to get Lana back.

Recap: Lana takes another step towards super-villaindom. We find out that Lana feels obligated to clean up Clark’s mess. Chloe threatens Lana. Super liquid gets away and possesses lab tech.
