Wow, I guess I've never found Tsubasa quite a dragging manga before despite a hundred of chapters and more than twenty volumes, but now, I'm having a lot of frustrating moments especially since reliving the real Syaoran's past wayback before Sakura's 7th birthday!

Compared to those chapters before, those stories might be long, taking a lot of chapters to finish but there's a variety of some sort. I've noticed since the last chapter just a few conversations were spent *just okay with illustrations* and it has been obvious enough since the last time of how Sakura was abducted. I mean, do they need elaborating that further and stretching out to several chapters with the same scenery? Ah, what a drag!

I understand that the conversations which took place on these recent chapter releases each fall into place as they reveal what exactly should have happened before the tampering of the memories and the cloning scheme of the evil Fei Wang Reed.

But when can we see Fye, Kurogane and Mokona? I think somehow CLAMP should also give even a short situationer on how the other characters are already! Well, I guess too much of suspense is no longer exciting but it tends to become a bore...get back to reality already and quick!

Why not let Syaoran tell them the story instead and just fill the scene with some sort of flashbacks while the actual characters interact? Just a suggestion though.

When will we know who Sakura really is? Her real name. We've been so eager to know that in the earlier chapters right? And Syaoran mo...

I don't care how long Tsubasa will end, I still like it and I hope aside from these quite-a drag reliving chapters, we could see some new sparks in the chapters to come.

Gotta say we still havin fun with this game, so many characters to create only 50 slot *sobs*

An update! Tsubasa's Chapter 195 has been released and scanlated! Check it out!

So that's how Sakura was abducted by Fei Wang Reed! Shaoran's amazing, I really like his character in the series...so young, so responsible, so sensitive!

Sakura here manifested her power over the water as it tried to protect her from being abducted and unconsciously since she wields it, eventually it will come to like Syaoran as the master likes him too, reason why he was permitted to come to the ruins during her purification! XD

I further conclude that it was from within this time frame that the memories of the clones were tampered from or maybe not...I wonder?

I just am dissapointed with the chapter back then when Cardcaptor Sakura's Shaoran appeared as the young Tsubasa's Syaoran's *not his real name -- we'll find that out soon* father! Can't even figure out his face now that he's grown up to be married with Sakura who bore him a son! Waaah! So unfair, I wanna see them both! But if Yuuko really wanted to meet them too, then that's a possiblity...fate -- "hitsuzen"!

It's CLAMP and their neverending suspenses, totally wild! You came to believe that the current direction of the story is that "it" already but in reality its just one of the twists, a mystery yet to be solved and when you think the story's gonna be ending soon you'll be balled over to know that the real score is just about to be unfolded but it's actually nice, I like their style...

How exciting to know more and uncover more about Tsubasa, the connections and the cross-overs! To understand it fully well, I recommend reading Cardcaptor Sakura, xxxHOLiC, x1999, Angelic Layer and other splendid works by CLAMP.

I missed Fye terribly, Kurogane and Mokona too...hope they'll be featured soon!

-Sakura finally gets exposed to something that actually endangered her life. She actually journeyed alone and found not only the physical pain of journeying and running from lost battles, but also the emotional pain of seeing firsthand how those mysterious feathers of hers are affecting the people in the other dimensions. Let's face it people, she was pretty much a burden during the first few volumes because she's just a magnet for trouble but at least now, she's doing something. And she's doing something now because she CAN.

It's also a bit heart breaking to see someone like her to break like that -when the Syaoran she has been traveling with isn't actually the original "Syaoran". It's hard to see her struggling over what or even who to believe now. She's more confused than ever but at least now, she's much more determined.

I love how even her character has some development. It's a bit rare to see a main character like Sakura get any character development because they just seem to be made perfect.

-The relationship between Fai and Kurogane has improved so much, I can't imagine what would happen if they separate. Kurogane has come to care so much about Fai so much that he was willing to do anything to save him. He was willing to become Fai's "game" to keep him alive. He made a deal with the witch -a person he has never trusted- just to keep Fay breathing. I adore the relationship they have.

And we see now that Fai is breaking down, too. His usual care-free and smile-y attitude is slowly deteriorating. He's showing his weakness only to find that it's those weaknesses that make him stronger -especially with Kurogane always by his side. I'm happy to see that Fai trusts Kurogane to keep him alive. Hitsuzen, indeed.

-Syaoran must be hurting a lot. When I say Syaoran, I mean the original one, because he's the one who's supposed to be Sakura's knight in shining armor but it just wasn't him. Sure he may be back now, but can he fix the damage that has already been inflicted -especially now since there's another Syaoran running wild and bloodthirsty for the feathers through the other dimensions? And how are they supposed to feel comfortable with him when every memory they've had, the original Syaoran only saw through that eye of his?

What I'm worried about him now is what will happen to him and Sakura?

It's a manga series worth collecting. It's one worth waiting for. Don't worry that it's going too long, or some volumes are just getting too boring because now things are shaping up into scenarios when anything can happen. I mean, Syaoran just gorged Fai's eye out. How can you tell me you were expecting that?

The art is still as beautifully consistent as ever.

The plot is wonderful.

The development is simply amazing.

I can tell I improved, between this one and the first collection.

I then started coloring this one Ouran scan.  It's from one of the earlier chapters...I forgot which one, but it's the Renge one for sure.

Yep, this was made into a signature for Jyojyoushi on the old Tsubasa Forums.  Well, I call her Maiya.  She gave me a bit of help on how to color the water back then, even though she didn't have photoshop.  Maiya asked if she could use this as her signature when I was finished with this back then.  ;D  Made in her honor~  With that name, you could tell that she was a L'Arc~en~Ciel fan.

Another Angel Diary full page coloring.  I thought the scan was beautiful, so I wanted to color it.  Everything came out nicely, but it's just the hair that screws it up.  Thing is...the hair was the hardest part.  Isn't Dong-young pwetty?

When ch. 182 of Tsubasa came out...I just wanted to color it~  It was a beautiful chapter :D

(These are the second edits that were done around February.  The first ones no longer exist anymore because I erased some...unwanted grayness, replaced Syaoran's previous poopy-colored hair to it's original, and edited his eye.  Everything else was the same.)

 

Syaoran:
Es un joven que tras la muerte de su padre Fujitaka, decide continuar con el trabajo que éste dejó sin terminar, en unas excavaciones.
Está enamorado de Sakura desde que la conoce, pero al ser ella la princesa no se atreve a revelarle sus auténticos sentimientos ya que considera que por no ser de la realeza no está bien que esten juntos. Sus orígenes son todo un misterio, pues sólo tiene recuerdos a partir de su encuentro con su padre adoptivo. Puede verse incluso que es un chico simpático y reservado, él amor que tiene hacia Sakura es tan grande que él prefiere dar su vida en lugar de la de ella. Es tuerto, aunque deberia ser ciego ya que ese ojo se le fue prestado. Tiene un alter ego encerrado en una botella en el mundo de Fey Wong Reed. A veces se le presenta en sueños. En realidad él es un clon sin corazón del Shaoran encerrado.

Sakura:Es la princesa del reino de Clow, hermana menor de Touya y amiga de Yukito. Sakura está enamorada de Syaoran pero por su timidez no puede reverlarle ese enorme secreto a su gran amigo de la infancia. Tras su apariencia de niña dulce y encantadora se encuentra un inmenso poder escondido, que reside en su corazón. El poder de viajar de dimensión en dimensión a voluntad propia. También posee el poder de ver a los fantasmas, hablar con los objetos inanimados y ver el futuro en pequeños fragmentos que le son difíciles de descifrar. A Sakura le preocupa que Syaoran se esmere tanto en recuperar las memorias de ella, puesto que algunas veces él sale lastimado por la persona que obtuvo la pluma, en cada reino.

Kurogane: Es un poderoso guerrero del antiguo Japón al que la Princesa Tomoyo ha enviado de viaje por las dimensiones para que comprenda el verdadero significado de la fuerza.
A pesar de ser un joven de carácter frío y aislado, (quizás sea por su pasado) es en el fondo es un chico lindo y solitario que prefiere ocultar sus problemas con un genio insoportable; sin embargo es de gran ayuda en la búsqueda de las memorias de Sakura debido a su fuerza y conocimientos de un ninja experto.
No obstante también es buen consejero ante las situaciones difíciles que se llegan a presentar ante Syaoran e incluso con Fye dándoles otro cambio en su manera de pensar y de vivir; aunque Kurogane finge no tener el mayor interés en sus acompañantes la realidad siempre parece ser otra.

Fye D. Flowright:Es un poderoso mago perteneciente al país de Celes, reinado por Ashura, su único deseo es alejarse de su mundo y no regresar nunca.
Es el creador de la tierna Chii, de la cual dejo a cargo de vigilar el sueño del Rey Ashura para que le avise si este despierta.
Aunque la personalidad del apuesto Fye es despreocupada y chistosa en realidad él es un ser muy triste, ya que oculta un misterioso secreto (es descubierto por Mokona pues detrás de esa dulce y tierna sonrisa se esconde una triste y muy cruel verdad) a pesar de ser un chico muy inocente y actuar como un niño travieso haciéndole pasar un mal rato a Kurogane junto con Mokona, en si, es un guerrero experimentado que su técnica principal es la evasión.
Con la filosofía de hacer las cosas con calma y pensar con claridad para obtener mejores resultados, siendo este el más sensato de todos; descifrando los mensajes que Yuuko siempre les deja.
Grandes secretos oculta Fye pero que con el transcurso de la trama se irán descubriendo y aclarando ciertas cosas.

NOTA: Su poder mágico reside en sus dos ojos (cuando Syaoran pierde su corazón, se come uno e intena comerse el otro pero Kurogane se lo impide). Debido a que le han quitado un ojo, el joven FYE casi muere, sin embargo, Kurogane decide unirse a Kamui para evitar su muerte, juntando su sangre y así salvarle la vida.
Yuko les dice que si Fye recupera el ojo robado dejará de ser un vampiro y no hará falta que tome más la sangre de Kurogane. En realidad Fye se llama Yuy ya que tenía un hermano gemelo llamado Fye que dio su vida para que él pudiera ser libre.
Pero Yuy al cargar con la muerte de Fye y recibir dos maldiciones por parte de Fei Wong Reed, decide llamarse Fye por el resto de su vida, borrando así su propia existencia y no olvidando aquel nombre que siempre le recordará que si ahora es libre fue gracias a su hermano.

 Yuuko: Es la bruja de la dimensión, aquella que une a los protagonistas en un viaje por diferentes mundos para que cada uno consiga lo que más desea a cambio de pedir algo de mismo valor al deseo, sus poderes fueron enviados por Clow Reed y creearon a las mokonas para un futuro que ya conocian.

mokona:
Es una extraña criatura que les entrega Yuuko para que puedan viajar entre dimensiones.
Quizás esta criatura pequeña y blanca sea algo desesperante en ocasiones, (en especial cuando Fye y ella se proponen molestar a Kurogane) pero Mokona también es de gran ayuda y muy tierna; gracias a sus 108 habilidades secretas (que a lo largo de la historia se iran mencionando una de ellas es fisgoneo extremo...!!!) pueden obtener ciertas cosas, como el que les sirva de traductor y la amistad entre los cuatro, ya que todos vienen de distintos mundos.
Existen en realidad dos Mokonas: una blanca y una negra, llamadas Soel (blanca) y Larg(negra); respectivamente fueron creadas por Yuuko y Clow a imagen y semejanza de la original y tiene una constante comunicacion entre si.

ENTRAR AL FORO

Tetsunosuke Ichimura siempre ha estado disgustado por su baja estatura. Después de ver morir a sus padres a manos de asesinos Choushuu, él jura con todo su corazón que se hará más fuerte, hasta encontrar y concluir la venganza que perseguirá desde ese momento.
La acción transcurre durante el año 1864, el primer año de Genji. Tetsunosuke, con 15 años, es jefe del cuartel general de los Shinsengumi, junto con su hermano mayor Tatsunosuke, e intenta reunir al histórico grupo para satisfacer sus sueños de hacerse más poderoso. A medida que transcurre el tiempo y Tetsunosuke va creciendo descubre que para alcanzar sus objetivos, deberá abandonar todo vestigio de humanidad y convertirse en un demonio.
