Jessie tells Keesha that he and Jerry had a conversation and that Jessie dates a lot of Black women. Jessie then offers with conviction that Libra's attitude does not surprise both Jerry and Jessie. Really!  As if the 22 year old that is still wet behind his ears knows about life and people. That comment sounds like it is a prejudice comment and it is a bias against Black Women nor is it any better then Big Brother 8's Amber's comment on Jewish people.

Prejudice is defined as follows:

An adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts.
A preconceived preference or idea. The act or state of holding unreasonable preconceived judgments or convictions. Irrational suspicion or hatred of a particular group, race, or religion. Detriment or injury caused to a person by the preconceived, unfavourable conviction of another or others.

I fully believe that Jerry's whole problem with Libra is that he is prejudice! I think that Jessie is ignorant and stupid being 22 years of age. Let's talk about Jerry's attitude,  and how a 75-year old man that is supposed to be wise for his age and his attack on Libra. How he verbally attacked Libra right out of her sleep. Let us talk about Jessie's attitude when Renny did apologize to him, and not accepting it.

Sounds to me like Jessie and Jerry are lumping, labelling, stigmatizing Black Women.  What I want to know is what does Jessie mean by it does not surprise him? Jessie and Jerry's comment and attitude is no better then Big Brother 8's HG Amber Tomcavage comment on Jewish people. Must we go through this every year! Amber's comment on Jewish people, then Adam's comment on children with disability and now Jessie and Jerry's comment and attitude on Black Women!

So far, Libra has been a target simply because she is strong, smart and a good player. It is not because she annoyed Steven or Memphis, or Jessie, Jerry or Brian. These men are doing virtually nothing in the house, but floating. They are trying to take out all the strong players that may beat them in important competitions. Renny is also another useless body in the house, she is just there, lied about what Libra actually said. Just like Jessie lied about Renny not apologizing to him when she apologized three times to him. What bothers them most about Libra is she has them pegged for their games and alliances.

After Steve gave the houseguests an endearing sugary finger and told the HG's to suck it bitches, he was evicted 9-0. What a bright move that Steve made just before the HG's were to vote. Some will argue that this is his personality, character and he was just trying to be funny. I personally do not think that this guy made the brightest move in house. He gave away his alliance too early in the game, when the numbers were not strong. He alienated himself from redemption when he pretended to be asleep and did not go to Jessie's HOH room to see his perfect pictures. It is not so much that he should have had to go to Jessie's room; once Brian was evicted, he should have tried to redeem himself to other HG's. Dan played it right he stayed silent and offered his loyalty.  A solid loyalty that he proved when he was the only one that did not vote Brian out of the house.

That is a better concept to the game then what Steven played. When Steven said "suck it bitches", Julie Chan was obviously taken by surprise and said "Woo, see how far that gets you Steven". I had to giggle at Julie’s response, because she is usually very passive and not much surprises the CBS host, however you could tell she was shocked and not impressed with what Steven said.

The HOH competition came down between Libra and Keesha, with Libra getting the last question wrong, making Keesha the third HOH and first female of Big Brother 10. Keesha was/is not happy about winning the HOH. The normal sucking up going on was immediate from the HG's, with Jerry really doing most of the sucking up.

When is this man going to wise up, he is still talking about Libra and a comment she DID NOT MAKE. If Jerry keeps this up, he may see is exit faster then he wants. Renny LIED! What Libra did say is that there were many variables to the competition that they lost and that they all lost together. She NEVER said anything about old people being slower. It was in fact April that made that comment. Furthermore, Libra has been one of the persons very respectful to Jerry. I am starting not to like Jerry as much as I did. I am still not impressed with how he carried himself when when he bought into Renny's lies. The way he confronted Libra is despicable for a man of his age!

It looks like Keesha may put up Angie and Jessie, but it remains to be seen.

The Big Brother Mods Corner:

The Big Brother Mods did a house cleaning yesterday. At best yesterday was a day of reckoning for all those adults who attacked, flamed and bashed CBS posters. The mods were absolutely not fooling around. They put their foot down or CBS put their foot down. Will the CBS BB Mods keep this up? I most certainly hope they do. I will be keeping my watchful eye on how the mods progress with following CBS policy for the rest of the seasson.

Having said that, the fans are still at a standstill with the CBS new format for their forums. Come on CBS your fans have spoken, dump this format and give them a format that all your members that love your shows can enjoy! You can do it CBS, you have the money, you have the backing, and it is time to take action and give your fans the forum they conveyed to you that they want!

“Madeleine McCann morreu no apartamento 5ª do Ocean Club, na Vila da Luz, a 3 de Maio de 2007”, escreve Gonçalo Amaral, segundo os resultados obtidos pela equipa de investigação do caso até Outubro de 2007.

“Ocorreu uma simulação de rapto” e os pais, Kate e Gerry, “são suspeitos de envolvimento na ocultação do cadáver da sua filha”, acrescenta o ex-inspector da PJ. O autor salienta que “a morte poderá ter sobrevindo em resultado de um trágico acidente” e que foram detectados “indícios de negligência na guarda e segurança dos filhos”. Um facto é que “há um cadáver não localizado, constatação validada pelos cães ingleses (…) e corroborado pelos resultados laboratoriais preliminares”. Nas suas conclusões, Gonçalo Amaral salienta ainda que “a tese de rapto é defendida desde a primeira hora pelos pais de Maddie” e que no seio do grupo de amigos que passava férias no Ocean Club apenas Kate e Gerry disseram que a janela do quarto da menina estava aberta.

“O conjunto de depoimentos e testemunhos evidenciam um elevado número de imprecisões, incongruências e contradições (..), em particular, o depoimento-chave para a tese do rapto, o de Jane Tanner (…) tornando-se ambíguo e desqualificando-se”. Foi esta cidadã inglesa que disse ter visto um homem com uma menina ao colo na noite de 3 de Maio de 2007.

"Contribuir para a descoberta da verdade material"

“Este livro surge da necessidade que senti de repor o meu bom nome que foi enxovalhado na praça pública sem que a instituição a que pertencia há 26 anos, a Polícia Judiciária, tenha permitido que me defendesse ou que o fizesse institucionalmente. (…) Mais tarde fui afastado da investigação”, começa por explicar Gonçalo Amaral. “Este livro tem ainda um propósito maior. O de contribuir para a descoberta da verdade material e a realização da justiça”, refere, salientando que o conteúdo “em nenhuma circunstância põe em causa o trabalho” dos colegas da PJ “nem compromete a investigação em curso”.

Na nota inicial, Gonçalo Amaral indica que “o leitor encontrará dados que desconhece, interpretações dos factos e, naturalmente, interrogações pertinentes”, frisando que uma investigação criminal “não se deve preocupar com o politicamente correcto”.

“Casal tratado com pinças”

A capa do livro, publicado pela editora Guerra e Paz, assemelha-se a uma capa processual, com a inscrição “Confidencial” a vermelho e a simulação de uma foto tipo-passe de Maddie presa com um clip.

As primeiras linhas não se situam a 3 de Maio de 2007, quando teve início o “caso Maddie”, mas em Fevereiro de 2008, data da publicação de uma entrevista na qual o então director nacional da PJ considera que houve precipitação na constituição do casal inglês como arguido. O autor confessa que teve o “pressentimento” de que a declaração pretendia “preparar a opinião pública para o inevitável, ou seja, o fim da investigação e o arquivamento do inquérito”.

Gonçalo Amaral diz que houve “campanhas de desinformação que visaram descredibilizar a investigação criminal”. “Para mim a investigação estava morta desde 2 de Outubro de 2007”, quando foi afastado da PJ e se fizeram “diligências para cumprir calendário, um pouco para inglês ver.”

O autor questiona a relação entre o casal McCann e a polícia inglesa, após a constituição como arguidos. “Causou-nos sempre estranheza a forma como o casal era tratado (…) e a informação policial a que eventualmente acederam”. “O erro foi termos tratado o casal ‘com pinças’”, lê-se, pelo facto de Kate e Gerry só terem sido constituídos arguidos quatro meses após o início da investigação.

Logo na manhã de 4 de Maio, antes de receberem informação pedida à polícia inglesa sobre os McCann, os investigadores receberam a visita do embaixador inglês. “Não é normal esta preocupação da diplomacia inglesa. Quem é este casal? Quem são os amigos?”, questiona o autor. Também “não é normal que comuns cidadãos a quem uma filha acabou de desaparecer nomeiem assessores de imprensa”, perante o mediatismo que o caso começava a ganhar.

Estranha descontracção de Gerry

Ao longo das 214 páginas, Gonçalo Amaral lembra questões que ficaram sem resposta - os berços dos gémeos estavam sem lençóis na noite do desaparecimento de Maddie, foram apagados registos de chamadas de telemóvel entre Kate e Gerry, os registos médicos de Maddie pedidos a Inglaterra que não foram atendidos, etc. - e algumas diligências que não avançaram para que o casal não fosse exposto perante o julgamento da opinião pública - como a reconstituição dos factos da noite de 3 de Maio e o pedido de escutas telefónicas.

Em Maio, "sentimos que Kate estaria na disposição de, sem se comprometer, indicar o local onde o corpo da sua filha estava" e, "segundo a própria viria a afirmar, tais dados tinham-lhe sido fornecidos por pessoas com poderes psíquicos ou para normais". Referiu então um colector de esgotos que desemboca na praia da Luz e os penhascos a nascente daquela praia. Cães ingleses detectaram, em Julho, odor a cadáver e vestígios de sangue no apartamento e no veículo alugado pelo casal.

Mencionando os diversos avistamentos da menina em inglesa que foram chegando de diferentes países e se revelaram infundados, Gonçalo Amaral conta um episódio, datado de Junho de 2007. Um homem na Holanda exigiu um resgate de dois milhões de euros, com um adiantamento de 500 mil euros. Os contactos entre Gerry e o homem decorreram através de email numa sala da PJ de Portimão. Quando se aguardava a indicação das condições e local da entrega do dinheiro "a tensão na sala era grande". "Ao contrário, a postura descontraída" de Gerry "constratava com a ansiedade dos polícias e deixava intrigados todos os investigadores". O pai de Maddie "chupava descontraidamente um chupa-chupa enquanto lia banalidades em sites da Internet e discutia rugby e futebol com um dos polícias ingleses", revela o autor. Mais tarde o indivíduo foi detido e a pista revelou-se falsa. Noutra passagem do livro, Gonçalo Amaral refere um testemunho que remonta a um episódio de Setembro de 2005 em Maiorca, quando os McCann passavam férias com três casais amigos. A esposa de um antigo colega de faculdade de Gerry assistiu a uma cena que a deixou estupefacta.

“Estava sentada entre Gerry McCann e David Payne, quando ouviu este último perguntar se ela, talvez referindo-se a Madeleine, faria ‘isto’, começando em acto seguinte a chupar um dos seus dedos, o qual entrava e saía da boca, insinuando um objecto fálico, ao mesmo tempo que, com os dedos da outra mão, fazia círculos à volta do mamilo, de uma forma provocadora e sexual”. As dúvidas relativamente ao relacionamento de David Payne com crianças foram transmitidas à polícia inglesa a 16 de Maio de 2007. “Era uma informação importante e pertinente para a investigação. It was beleived by many that Trenton's mother Melinda, may have played a role in his disappearance but she took her own life, so it may never be known for sure. In the case of Caylee Anthony, according to the grandmother in an interview on NBC's "Today", show, the mother may know who has her.

Casey's mother Cindy Anthony said Monday on NBC's "Today" that Casey should be released from jail so she can help with the investigation.

"I know Casey knows who has her," Cindy Anthony told NBC. "I know Casey doesn't know where they're at right at the moment. But I don't know anything else right now because I can't speak to my daughter. And we're trying to get that changed very quickly."

At a news conference on Monday, Casey's defense attorney, Jose Baez, said his client was willing to cooperate with law enforcement but asked that any information should be used to help find Caylee and not prosecute his client.

"There is a reason for Casey lying to investigators, but cannot be disclosed at this time." Baez told the Associated Press

They are no longer suspects and the investigation has been shelved, but does anyone else still have that lingering feeling that there was something about the disappearance of Madeleine that just doesn't feel right?

The Portuguese attorney-general has also lifted the official suspect status, known as "arguido", that had been put on the girl's parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, and another British man, Robert Murat.  Mr Murat won considerable damages from several British newspapers for libel last week.

The British toddler went missing from her parents' apartment while on holiday in Praia da Luz, southern Portugal on May 3rd 2007.

Although the case has been closed in Portugal, Kate and Gerry McCann are unwilling to give up the search for their daughter.  The couple have said they want access to the Portuguese police files to pass on to their own investigators and may bring legal action against the Portuguese police for their handling of the case.

El defensor legal de Robert Murat, Louis Charalambous, dijo que varios periódicos acordaron pagar a Murat y disculparse. El acuerdo se formalizó en el Tribunal Supremo de Londres hoy.

Murat acusó de difamación a los diarios Sun, Daily Mirror y Daily Mail, entre otros, por las escandalosas noticias que publicaron, a veces con fuentes anónimas, que él estaba involucrado en la desaparición de la pequeña.

Canadian Idol host Ben Mulroney (son of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney) does not fool around with the results of who is staying and who is going. He is not dramatic about it at all, unlike American Idol host Ryan Seacrest. Ben just dives right into the results and lets the idolteers and viewers know in a timely manner how Canada voted. The idolteers learn whether they are safe or in the bottom three.  Basically it is over in a speedy time instead of the dramtic hour that the American Idol results show puts on. Nine idolteers learned that they had a stay of grace and one idolteer received the bad news. This week Adam Castelli Motorcycle Peformance was the one that met his demise. It was not a shocker, any of nine could have been the one to learn that they did not get enough votes to stay on.

Ben wished the competitors good luck, told them it was a pleasure to be with all of them and that it was a great performance show. I think we need to add in a clean the ears kit for Ben Mulroney. It really was not a great show on Monday. Really it wasn't!

I really do not think it is fair to ask the judges who they think will survive when three competitors are standing there waiting to hear if they stayed alive in the compeition. Nor is it right to ask whom the judges favour at any time.

Adam took the news rather well; he thanked everyone for their support and  said it was a great ride . In a video interview, he reflected that now that he had been on this  Idol journey, he learned that Canadian Idol is not for the faint of heart. It is tough competition and there are moments when competitors really want to pack it all in, but you gotta just keep on going.

Next week's theme is " Rock and Roll Heaven", Ben said that the theme will be classic rock songs from artists that are dead. Giggling he advised he could not sugar coat that one. The top nine will come to our screens on Monday at a new time. 9 PM ET/PT/8 PM CST.

Last night's Big Brother show was one of the best if not the best POV show I have seen in a long time. Well ever since Dustin was blindsided on BB8 and was put on the block and then evicted. Jesse not Jerry won the POV. The house becomes aware Brian's attempt to control of the house,  and that he also tried to clone Dr. Will's gameplay.  Brian the Player does indeed get played by most of the Houseguests.

One alliance is one thing but trying to play the whole house is another thing. Brian's most fatal mistake was not knowing that women eventually will get around to talking. Ollie told April, Libra and Keesha that they were safe from going up. Brian walked in and Ollie told him to let them in on the plot. Brian swaggered over thinking he had it going on and told the girls that they were putting up Memphis. His reason was that Memphis proved to be to competative in the POV competition.  Brian also foolishly was bragging to anyone that would listen that he had Jerry under his control. Not a bright move, even it it were true for a period, he may have wanted to keep that to himself so early in the game.

When Brian advised the girls about his plot, Libra and Keesha had a look on their faces that women will have when someone is saying or doing something that they are not agreeable to going along with. Dumb Brian did not read those faces. After Brian swaggered out with his puffed up unwarranted ego, Libra honed into the two other girls right away. Libra said, did you see him, the other two girls did agree that he was trying to control them and their votes. In the meantime, Brian thought he had Jerry under his thumb and Jerry would do what Brian told/manipulated Jerry to do.

Just as I thought not one of this seasons HG's were not going to try to play the game like past BB HG's, Brian thinks he is Dr. Will Incarnate. The ladies were not going to have any of that nonsense. Libra told April that Ollie was in an alliance with Dan and Brian. At first, April had a difficult time believing that Ollie was involved in an alliance and had not said anything to her. Libra took it one-step further and asked Ollie directly in front of April, if he were in an alliance with Brian and Dan. Ollie admitted to being in an alliance with Dan but not Brian. Ollie saw his alliance crumbling so he helped the girls put forth the plot of flipping the house and to have Jerry nominate Brian for eviction.

The three split up and talked to all of the other HG's except for Dan and Brian. They all agreed to talk to Jerry about Brian to try  to get him to change his nominations and put Brian on the block. At first, Jerry was steadfast with his loyalty to Brian a fellow Marine, and told the HG's that he did not know if he could trust anyone.

At the POV meeting, Jerry was clearly upset that he had to go back on his word, to the point he would not wear anything with the military on that day,  because he is a man of honor and did not want to do anything to embarrass his fellow military patriots. I found that quite refreshing of how Jerry was that loyal. He is so honourable that he felt shamed for what he had to do, and did not want to embarrass the military. Unlike Dan who feels that he can be as cutthroat as possible and take it up with God later.

The look on Dan and Brian's faces was priceless and one I will remember for a long time.  They both sat up their on their high horses thinking not only was Jerry going to be led around by the nose, but he was going to do exactly what Brian had told him to do and put up Memphis. When Jerry started giving his speech, the faces on Brian and Dan started to slowly show realization that something was wrong and amiss. It was almost like watching a sinking ship in slow motion. Brian the Dr. Will clone was played by most of the houseguests and Jerry did in fact put him up on the block. I did like Jerry's strategy. He made sure that he let Brian and Dan know that eight people came to him and wanted him up on the block because of all of the alliances. I thought that was smart of Jerry not to take the full responsibility and blame for changing nominations. The look on some of the HG's faces such as April was also priceless when Jerry advised Brian and Dan of this at the POV meeting.

The show ends and Angie starts crying and hugging Brian. Which I think is a lark, since Angie was very vocal in Jerry's hoh room, telling Jerry he had to put Brian up. The player was indeed played and it was hysterical to watch. If last night is, an indication of what type of a show we are going to be viewing this is going to be a great season. Again, I will still reserve judgement, but so far so good CBS and Big Brother. The HG's simply have to play the game, as they would do as if this were the first season. There is only one Dr. Will, Dick Donato, Janelle, Keyser, Howie, and ect.... If they play the game without the preconceived notion that they must mimic and clone past HG's it should be a very good show.

The Big Brother Forum  Mods corner:

The Big Brother Mods are starting to pick up the pace and showing some signs of doing their jobs. They are not quite on par just yet, but they are slowly performing their duties with the goal of equality for all BB forum members. They need more coaxing to perform their full duties. For the last two days the CBS, Big Brother and the mods are attempting to reconcile fan anger. Keep up the good work mods. All fans understand the need for moderation; your fans just want you to moderate with equal status for all.

Out of fairness the CBS, Big Brother also put out a post on the BB10 forum advising the fans of their awareness of the fans great dislike or hatred for the new forum. I am posting it here, because I wrote about the fan discontent and to be just to CBS and Big Brother 10 show.  It is only fair and as I promised to also publicly put out their response to their fans discontent! It is nice to see immediate and direct reconciliation of fan anger and response to fans discontent. Again, while CBS and Big Brother mods still have a ways to go, they are at the very least making attempts to meet with the discontent of their fans. Once more, keep up the good work CBS and Big Brother mods!

Eviction is tonight, it looks like Brian will be seeing his demise earlier then he anticipated, it still remains to be seen, as Renny has continue to annoy some of the HG's. Robert Murat - the first person to be named as an official suspect - or arguido - in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has agreed an out of court settlement with a number of UK newspapers

Robert Murat has settled a claim for damages with a number of British newspapers over allegations of his involvement in the Madeleine McCann inquiry.

Mr Murat will be in the High Court in London on Thursday to receive apologies from the newspapers.

Sky's crime correspondent Martin Brunt said Mr Murat has settled with the lawyers of eight newspapers.

It is believed however that he was looking to sue 10 publications.

Brunt added that Mr Murat was expecting to get a number of apologies read out in court.

"I'm told there was speculation about a figure of £2m he was claiming," Brunt said.

"As I understand it, he's expecting to get £250,000 to £500,000."

It was widely considered at the time that this was one of the biggest ever libel claims.

Newspapers both in Portugal and Britain wrote many articles about Mr Murat when he became the first 'arguido' - or suspect - in the case of Madeleine's disappearance.

He was hauled in by Portuguese policemen, spoken to and questioned for about 17 hours before being released.

He vehemently denied any involvement and was quite taken aback by the newspaper speculation coverage of his alleged involvement.

Apart from allegations of him being involved, there were lurid allegations written about him and his private life.

Madeleine disappeared on May 3, 2007, days before her fourth birthday.

She had been left sleeping in a holiday apartment as her parents Kate and Gerry dined with friends in a nearby tapas bar in the resort of Praia da Luz in southern Portugal.

The show opens and for the first time we get a gander at the thirteen people whom will entertain us all summer (hopefully). Julie comes on, looking as smashing as ever, you have to hand it to the big brother host, she is a stunning beautiful woman and always looks fabulous. She is always dressed and coiffed beautifully. Julie informs the HG's that this year that they will have to pick the first HOH, before they even enter into the house. I thought that was an interesting twist, and a good one, none of the HG's had spoken to each other so there would have been no reason to pick a HG other then going with gut feelings.

The HG's enter into the house and start oohing and awing. They all pick their spots with no mishaps or resentment; they all just loved their bed down spots. Normally every year we have the disgruntled HG's that are peeved because they did not get the bed or room they wanted. So far, this looks like a mature group. Phew!

The HG's, different personalities are slowly seeping to the forefront, and thankfully, not one HG showed that they were trying to clone past Big Brother HG's. This season's HG's need to entertain fans in their own personalities and characters not past HG's characters as the winter debut HG's tried to do. The HG's seemed relaxed and are all getting along peachy keen accept for Renny.

Many HG's made a comment on Renny in the first minutes of entering into the house. To further fuel the consensus, Renny decided she needed to wake up all the HG's because she could not open the door. Renny's voice and hideous laughter is enough to get on most people's nerves. Jessie confronted Renny about waking him up in the next room. Renny, who is supposed to be older, brushes it off with "Oh C'mon" showing that she did not have any respect for others. When people are sleeping or trying to sleep, it is fair to say that you may not want to holler and whoop it up, because you cannot get the door open. In Renny's case she thought the wee hours of the morning was a good time to play a prank on others who were trying to sleep.

Jessie, was targeted because he choose to sit out in the food competition. I don't get Memphis or Brain's issue with this, somebody had to sit out, better for a volunteer then being selected to sit out. Memphis advised he is not a bartender but alas a mixologist.  How were we to know that the fancy name for being a common bartender is now called Mixologist, whom would of known if Memphis did not come along to correct us on this matter. No Memphis you are a bartender, you tend bar, you create drinks, but you are not the original creator of those drinks. It is almost as if Memphis is saying that he is beneath bartending when that is what in fact he does do for a living, bartend.

My first impressions, I definitely like Jerry, Libra, Ollie, Angie, Steven, and Keesha. Michelle is Ok; April did not impress me when she got several of the HG's to feel her real boobs. Who cares and in this particular instance Renny was right it was inappropriate not just for Jerry but for anyone that touched her real mammary glands. Brian seems to be shifty and I definitely do not like Memphis at all, he just rubs me the wrong way. Dan figures he can be as cutthroat as possible and then will take it up with his God after the show. LMAO! Jessie nor Dan does not seem to have a personality.

Julie announces that Jerry received four votes and is the official Big Brother 10 first HOH. Jerry in turn puts up Renny and Jessie because he felt he needed to remove the conflict in the house. Jessie and Renny argued about her wee hour in the morning loudness. I would have to side with Jessie on that one, it was really ignorant of Renny to not have respect for the fact other HG's were trying to sleep or sleeping. I thought that Jerry chose wisely and that no one could fault him of his choices. They gave the HOH reason to put them on the block.

The first show ends for all the Big Brother fans to wait patientley for the feeds to fire up and for Tuesday's Pov show to air.

So far this seems to be a good cast of HG's for our viewing, however I will reserve final judgement of the cast and show until a later date. It always takes time to see the personalties of the HG's and what kind of a show we are viewing.

The Big Brother Mods corner:

Yesterday there were impersonators of members of BB10 loyal fans, and astonishly the mods DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BIG BROTHER MODS ARE YOU THIS DAFT AND SIMPLE! Those impersonators USED the id of the member they were impersonating to attack one of your loyal fans and the same member they were impersonating. Yeesh! It is clear that it goes against your policy and you in fact have this violation as one that your fans may report. Get with the program Big Brother mods, you are not on your jobs at all!

With the new season looming in fan anticipation, it appears that CBS has let down their fans. They put up their new BB10 forum on Thursday . The forum is ill developed. All of the BB fans expressed their feelings that the BB10 fan forum was frustrating, was thrown together, chaotic, confusing and butt ugly. Some fans also expressd that they were part of private message boards that were better then what a big corporation gave them.

Fans also revealed that nobody could see their posts or the posts on the new forum would show up hours later. The new forum threw the loyal BB fan base in confusion and to date there is not an appropriate BB10 forum for their loyal fans. Some fans expressed due to their age not being able to read the new forum.  Is CBS giving their fans the finger? Not only did CBS let their fans down in terms of their new BB10 board, their moderators are still operating with the intent of bias. I have personally watched today, on the CBS, BB9 forums and witnessed the mods deleting appropriate congenial threads. Persons that appear to be friends, being nice to each other and expressing their feelings for each other. CBS are you really thumbing your nose at your loyal fans, with the new season starting? Loyal fans have designed their own private boards but are still disgruntled at their treatment by CBS and BB and their new BB10 forum . Some fans are hoping and imagine praying that this is only a temporary board. The new CBS forum is like any private board out there, only CBS and BB did a piss poor job at their tooling of it nor is the BB10 fan forum user friendly . All fans that posted on the boards expressed their hatred of the new forum. Somebody from CBS and BB erred greatly. The fans have all congregated on the BB8 and BB9 forum and that is very few fans, not many can still log onto the old forums. A petition has been started to keep the old Big Brother fan boards. The post is on the BB9 MB in the General comments.

CBS mods corner:

As promised, I am adding in the BB mods behaviour this season. The mods continue with their bias moderation of the BB9 boards. When others attack people it is in fact the mods duty to follow through with their code of conduct policy. From what I witnessed that did not happen!  What happened was the mods either did not read what they were deleting and/ or demonstrated their bias, by deleting posts that did not break any rules or policy while leaving the attackers posts on the forum. Are the Big Brother reality show moderators really this stupid and ignorant ? The mods may be not only stupid but also uninterested in performing their duties. I also saw that Robert Green had logged on. Robert if you are the one deleting the posts you need to read up on your code of conduct and policy. When persons come on topics to deliberately attack others it is your duty to make sure that those persons are dealt with within your guidelines. Three threads were deleted by the moderators and the BB mods continue to allow a certain group to dominate a forum that was designed for ALL Big brother fans. I will not include the attacking posts by the person; I do not feel that person deserves that much attention. BB Mods you will need to do a better job then you have been doing or you may consider that you continue to anger the BB fans that frequent your fan message board and support your show. So far CBS and Big Brother have let their loyal fans down. I hope this is not a sign  and symbol of another piss poor season and cast.

War broke out this week between a right-wing, road-sign burying ex-solicitor and an 'ex-murderer'...and, no, I'm not making this up: Following on from my previous post 'Gordon Bennett',  the battle to become the 'Voice of Madeleine'  began in earnest - Earnest being a sub-district of the Twilight Zone.

Forget the Rumble in the Jungle; forget Ali vs Foreman - take your ringside seats ladies and gentlemen for Bennett vs Hirst. As Tony Bennett gave interviews to obscure local radio stations about his plan to start his 'Madeleine Foundation'  with it's manifesto to litigate the Mccanns to death, Mr Hirst, who murdered Bronia Burton, set up his own campaign - Let Her Speak- and questioned Mr Bennett's suitability to be the 'Voice of Madeleine'...and, no, I'm not making this up.

Both men are attempting to use the legal system to champion Madeleine and to 'punish' the Mccanns. They say that Justice is blind, but after this I'd say that Justice is gnashing and grinding Her teeth; she's taking off that blindfold and rubbing her eyes in sheer disbelief.

What is effectively happening here is that both men are using the law to stalk and harass the Mccanns; specifically Kate Mccann. As neither men have any legitimate connection to Madeleine there can be no other interpretation of their behaviour. Attempting to bring private prosecution after private prosecution against someone allows a stalker to feel he is in their victim's life and the law allows him to do it.  If he cannot be in her life he will punish her and make her life hell via the legal system.

'The stalker also develops intense anger to mask his shame, which fuels the obsessive pursuit of the object.  He now wants to control through harassment or injury.'

Mr Bennett and Mr Hirst have no connection to Madeleine Mccann whatsoever, so it's difficult to see why either of them think that they are the Voice of Madeleine.

Madeleine has a family who are the only ones who can claim to represent her in any way, shape or form. The only Voices these men have any connection to, perhaps, are the ones in their heads.

"We shouldn't send out a European alert when a child has been gone for just a few hours," said German Justice Minister Brigitte Zypries. "The great majority of children return home after two or three days."

When a child goes missing in the U.S., an AMBER Alert may be activated in neighboring states but rarely would one be issued nationwide nationwide. Does it have to be all or nothing or is there an effective compromise.

When my father-in-law retired he underwent a disturbing transformation; he morphed from a normal, laugh a minute man to a complete bore, seemingly within days.

Where once his mind was occupied by the serious issues of work as a Sergeant Major in the army, the vacuum created by retirement meant he became pre-occupied with the serious issues of cleaning and housework.

He took cleaning to an Olympic standard and visiting became a problem: If you touched a surface a cloth would appear from nowhere like a magician's handkerchief to wipe away your filthy, offending fingerprint. A hot cup of tea had to be downed in one, burning your throat, or the cup would be in the sink before it ever became acquainted with a table. A piece of plastic would be placed on a chair already covered in plastic before you were allowed to be seated and the toilet would be inspected and cleaned the second you vacated it.

You don't need to be a psychiatrist to understand what happened to my father-in-law. His retirement from a role that he loved and that had value left him feeling useless, old and value-less. In an attempt to stave off these uncomfortable feelings he found something to occupy his time and to push away those emotions - cleaning. But normal cleaning wasn't enough as those feelings still felt raw so he cleaned harder and harder till he felt nothing. And he had to continue increasing the intensity of the cleaning to keep the nagging thoughts at bay. He became trapped in his cycle of cleaning. He, in fact, developed a form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Meet Mr Tony Bennett who seems to have something in common with my father-in-law. Mr Bennett is a retired solicitor. One wonders why Mr Bennett retired from his useful career as a solicitor so early, but when one looks at how he has spent his time since it becomes plain he retired way  too soon.

Where my father-in-law anaesthetised himself with cleaning, Mr Bennett has chosen the Mccanns: Dissmissed by magistrates when he tried to take out a private prosecution last year, Bennett has now set up a trainspotters'club' to again bring a private prosecution against the Mccanns. And thanks to Margaret Thatcher who forced care in the community upon us Mr Bennett has found a group of willing obsessives who will pay a subscription fee to the 'Madeleine Foundation' in order to fund Bennett's own form of 'OCD'.

I cannot be the only person cringing at Mr Bennett's use of Madeleine's name to gain money, for whatever purpose.

So I have decided to set up a club called 'The Gordon Bennett Foundation': If you sign up, for a small fee of course, I will immediately put the money towards hiring a barrister to see how we can prevent Mr Bennett from taking yet another private prosecution out against Madeleine's parents. Well our summer's viewing of BB10 cast has been revealed today. A day earlier then Groden said last week. Which is not nice Alison, you may want to let those of us that write about your show know a correct date. Moving along, the cast is diverse, but not as diverse as they publicized it up to be. It seems that there are only three minorities on the cast. Two older persons! How does Big brother feel their cast is diverse, it seems to me the token symbols representing certain groups are the same. Nevertheless, it seems to be more diverse then in previous years. So it should be interesting to see how this game plays out with a different cast then the norm.

This season I will be including in my articles a Big Brother Message Board Mod Watch!

In the last year, the CBS Big Brother 9 Mods have been ruthless in their attempt to control an uncontrollable message board. Hanging around the BB9 board, I have witnessed the mods deleting posts that are not breaking any of their message board rules or policies. The CBS Big Brother 9 mods have been negligent in their duties by allowing one specific group to over-report people and have their posts deleted, even though it has not broken their policies. If the CBS Big brother mods would learn to read what they are deleting it would do much to dissuade fan anger.

I know that some members of that board have appealed to the mods and others BB and CBS authorities by writing and by phoning CBS.

Since this is an ongoing issue, this year, I will be keeping watch of the BB10 mods. If they are unfair, unjust, and delete their fans posts as well as ban fans without reason. I will add it to my articles, if they are just and delete posts or ban members with reason; I will be just in my articles.

Perhaps this will help aide CBS and BB execs in making sure that their fan base that has been loyal to them remains intact. The CBS mods obvious bias has turned into fan anger. It is up to CBS to rectify their mods actions against fans that are indeed CBS and BB brother's bread and butter winners. Without the loyal fans, the show would demise. Without the fans their would be no advertisers for their show.

It is about time the Big Brother CBS mods understand this. I would like to further add that some of the people that are causing the problems on the Big Brother Message board have bragged about being friends with mods. One of those persons named is Robert Green and Mod 2.

Upon research, I see that other CBS Shows, such as Jericho, Survivor ect...., fans have all expressed the same problem with the CBS mods. They are being over-reported, the mods are unfair, unjust, the fans are angry, disenchanted and disgruntled. The fans have questioned who Robert Green is; there is a post on the forum that a person claims his name is Robert and he is a mod. The same Robert had conversations with certain persons and those persons are permitted to attack others, without moderator intervention. Upon research Robert Green is part of the CBS family, so it is up to Robert to respond to loyal fans emails, and phone calls about his moderators activity on a public MB that CBS puts out for loyal fans. CBS has listed Jeff Burkett as the head of the mods, yet when fans have contacted Mr. Burkett about diffrent CBS shows, he has claimed he has nothing to do with the moderators on the CBS message boards.

Having said this, CBS needs to recognize fan anger and that those fans who were already disappointed at a piss poor show of their winter season debut, that their mods unjust activity is not doing anything to humor their loyal fans. The fans are in fact turned off and may just turn off their television sets or change the channel if the CBS Big Brother mods continue to anger CBS Big Brother loyal fans.

Each article will have my thoughts on the BB10 mods. This will hopefully improve on their moderation etiquette and skills to treat all fans equally and to go with policy for every post not selective posts of selective people who brag they are friends with the mods.

I will also be asking different fans of the BB forum for their opinions and views and may feature those opinions in my articles.

There is also a "once upon a time rocker"  that hangs around the big brother message board threatening women's safety. This person has indeed threatened to pay someone to find a woman and her family and cause harm to them. This same person also advised another woman that he knows where she lives. There have been racist comments made on that BB message board. A woman was called an N lover with her N children, there has been Anti- Semitic taunts and jeers and racist names directed at Hispanics, people's country has been attacked. I will be keeping watch on that board and will report any of those infractions in my articles that the mods have ignored or do not seem to care about.

The question to CBS and Big Brother is,  does their organization really want to be represented in this fashion?

Here is one of his threats: He publicly offered to pay someone for info on this woman and in other instances has threatened this woman and her family. He even posted a picture of this woman and her husband without permission on the BB9 Message board.

I ask this question to CBS directly do you really want to be represented by this type of posting? Do you not owe it to your loyal fans who view your shows to respond to their emails and phone calls attempts to get you to notice and do something about these type of posters?  The posters that openly harrass, bait, taunt and use malicous methods as well as scare tactics to try to frighten women? One of woman that this rocker advised  that he knew where she lived is petrified by this person. Do you CBS really expect your loyal fans to endure this as members of a public board you host and and that you CBS are supposed to be moderating.

Cheers to a good Big Brother 10 show and on and off the BB message board. May the BB10 mods do their jobs equally, fairly, and with just actions and within their guidelines and policy for all fans not select fans. May CBS and Big Brother take direct action of what is happening on their MB that they host! If  the CBS mods do not shape up, they will be reported here in my articles.

Mr Tim Scott, Q.C., International Family Law Group, acting for Gerry and Kate McCann: Madeleine McCann is a ward of Court. She had her 5th birthday on 12 May 2008. Gerry and Kate are not here as they are on holiday with their twins, Sean and Amelie. Who could deserve a holiday more after a period more traumatic than any family should have to cope with.

Mrs Justice Hogg: I did not expect to see them.

Mr Tim Scott continues: As the world knows, Madeleine was abducted from an apartment at a resort in Praia Da Luz in Portugal on 03 May 2007. No one has ever been arrested or charged in connection with her abduction. Her whereabouts are completely unknown. There is no proof that she is alive, but there is not a scrap of evidence that she is not. After the abduction Gerry and Kate McCann set in motion their own search with professional assistance. A Fund was set up to finance the search and many people, often those who could barely afford it, have given generously to that fund. Simultaneously a massive international police search was launched. Since the McCann family lives in Leicestershire, the Leicestershire Constabulary has been the lead force among UK law enforcement agencies. Gerry and Kate would like, through me, to acknowledge the enormous effort which has been devoted both by the Leicestershire Constabulary and by other law enforcement agencies to the search for Madeleine. They would also like to thank many individual officers for the kindness and concern which they have shown to the family throughout this terrible time. Proceedings were started in this Court by a summons dated 17 May 2007. The sole purpose of the proceedings has been to call upon the extensive powers of the High Court to require assistance to be given in the search for a missing child. It is of course quite routine in the Family Division for such Orders to be made. For example in an appropriate case (though not this one) an Order can be made against a mobile phone company to produce the call record of a phone. It was never the parents’ wish that the proceedings should become adversarial. On 22 May 2007 an Order was made by you in very wide terms requiring any person on whom the Order was served to disclose to the parents’ solicitors any information which might assist in identifying Madeleine’s whereabouts. The Order contained a clause entitling any person served with it to apply to discharge or vary it. Among the bodies on whom the Order was served was the Leicestershire Constabulary, who immediately expressed doubts as to whether the Order was intended to or could properly extend to them. In due course the parents’ solicitors issued a further application seeking clarification of this. On 02 April 2008 you gave directions which were intended to lead to a hearing at which this question would be resolved. This is that hearing. As the preparations for this hearing advanced, it became clear that the Leicestershire Constabulary and other law enforcement agencies, while personally sympathetic to the position of the McCann’s objected on principle to the disclosure of at least the great bulk of the information in their possession. They raised a number of legal arguments relating among other matters to the public interest in maintaining the confidentiality of police investigations. Both the Serious Organised Crimes Agency and the Attorney-General intervened in the proceedings in order to advance their own arguments on issues of public policy. It became clear that if today’s hearing proceeded on a fully contested basis a number of areas of law of great interest to lawyers would have had to be considered. However Gerry and Kate McCann are not lawyers and so far as they were concerned the legal proceedings were moving further and further from the only matter which concerns them: the search for Madeleine. The proceedings were in danger of becoming a distraction from rather than an aid to that single goal. Also there have been two recent developments which have greatly affected Gerry and Kate’s views on these proceedings. The first is that the Leicestershire Constabulary has now agreed to release an important, though limited, part of the information which they have been seeking; I shall come back to that. The second is that, as has been widely publicised, it is expected that Gerry and Kate’s status in Portugal as arguidos or suspects will be lifted soon. When that happens it is hoped and expected that a substantial further amount of information will be released. Since Gerry and Kate have always wanted to work with all law enforcement agencies on a cooperative basis, they decided to withdraw the application against the Leicestershire Constabulary. We therefore come to Court today to ask you to approve an Order which all parties consent to. The first part of the Order recites that the Chief Constable of Leicestershire has agreed to provide by today a document in accordance with Paragraph 50 of the Skeleton Argument which has been presented to the Court on his behalf. That Paragraph is at 34. It says that the Chief Constable is currently preparing a document which will provide the parents with the contact details of persons that have been forwarded to the investigation by the parents or those acting for them. This document will also contain a brief resume of the information that it is believed the person informed the parents or those acting for them that they wished to pass on to the investigation. I said earlier that this is an important but limited amount of the information which Gerry and Kate had hoped to obtain. I would like to explain why it is important. Although the Leicestershire Constabulary were quick to set up a major incident room and to provide a telephone number which anyone with information could call, there was a period of time before this became widely known. During that time Gerry and Kate’s solicitor, Ms Ann Thomas of The International Family Law Group, who sits in front of me, had already been retained. Her firm’s number was publicised and a large number of people called in. All of these callers were given the number which the Leicestershire Constabulary had set up for the purpose. The solicitors thought it right that the police should be receiving it. In fact with few exceptions the solicitors did not even retain any notes on what the callers were saying or even their contact details. So what the Chief Constable is now voluntarily providing is the contact details and a summary of the information provided by a substantial number of people who were among the first to try to help the investigation. It is because these were on the whole people who came forward to volunteer information in the period immediately after the abduction that it is likely that the information which they provided will be most helpful. So on that basis Gerry and Kate McCann are content to withdraw their application for any wider disclosure. Paragraph 4 of the Order provides that the documents in the case shall remain confidential to the Court. This of course is completely normal in wardship. An exception is made to enable the Chief Constable at his discretion to reveal the contents of his evidence and the legal arguments advanced on his behalf. The parents understand that the points of principle which have arisen are of wider interest to law enforcement agencies, and they would not want to restrict proper discussion of those matters which might have a beneficial purpose in future investigations. They are confident that the Chief Constable will exercise his discretion in a responsible way. The search for Madeleine continues. The fund which was established in May 2007 known as “Madeleine’s Fund – Leaving No Stone Unturned” remains closely involved in the search. It always has been and remains Gerry and Kate’s purpose to leave no stone unturned. This was why they asked for the assistance of this Court in the first place, and this is why, in the light of developing circumstances, they now withdraw their application. We hope that you will accept, and will feel able to say that they have behaved completely properly and responsibly at every stage.

Mr James Lewis QC, for the Chief Constable of Leicestershire: We would like you to approve the Order. As the Court heard, any person served with the Order should disclose any information that would help to find Madeleine . We wish to make it clear that the primary aim is to ensure that no stone is left unturned. There must be a balance between the rights of Plaintiffs to have as much information as possible and the risk of compromising the continuing criminal investigation, damaging future international co-operation, and a potential breach of Portuguese law. The parents get information that emanates from them and there is no breach of Portuguese law. The Chief Constable asks the Court to make clear that previous Orders don’t apply. The case is not closed. The Chief Constable wishes to reiterate anyone with information should come forward to the police. The amount of information is 81 pieces of information out of 11,000 pieces of information on the computer system.

Representative of the Attorney General: The Attorney General intervened as Guardian of the public interest and has no further comment to make.

Mrs Justice Hogg: Madeleine went missing on 3 May 2007 just a few days before her 4th birthday, while she was holidaying with her family in the Algarve in Portugal. On 17 May 2007 Madeleine’s parents invoked the jurisdiction of this Court under the Inherent Jurisdiction of the Court, and The Child Abduction and Custody Act, and the Hague Convention. They sought various orders and directions aimed at ascertaining the whereabouts and recovery of Madeleine. I became involved with the proceedings shortly afterwards. On 2 April 2008 Madeleine became a Ward of this Court, and since that date has remained a Ward. At all times jurisdiction was assumed by the Court because, there being no evidence to the contrary, it is presumed Madeleine is alive. She is a British Citizen, and like her parents habitually resident here. The current application was made on 2 April 2008 by the parents seeking disclosure of information and documents from the Chief Constable of Leicestershire to assist them and their own investigations in their search for Madeleine. Such are the complexities of the issues involved other interested parties were invited and joined to the application, and directions given for the hearing today. The parties have reached an accommodation whereby the Chief Constable will provide to Madeleine’s parents contact details of members of the public who had themselves contacted the parents or their solicitors, and which on receipt were immediately passed to the Chief Constable, together with a brief resume of the information given. The parents do not wish to pursue other aspects of the application, and save for the draft consent order being approved by this Court wish to withdraw their application and seek leave to do so. I have no criticism of the parents in making this application. They have behaved responsibly and reasonably throughout. I have considered the documents provided to this Court by the various parties, and have concluded that the agreement reached by the parties is entirely appropriate, and that the parents should be permitted to withdraw the balance of their application. I will make the Order by Consent as sought. In particular paragraph 1 of the Order made on the 22 May 2007 shall be varied with the words: “The terms of this paragraph shall not apply to the Chief Constable of Leicestershire or any other United Kingdom law enforcement agency. And for the avoidance of doubt all the evidence submitted to the Court and the Case Summaries and Skeleton Arguments remain confidential to the Court save that the Chief Constable may use his discretion to disclose his evidence, case summary and skeleton arguments filed in this Court and the Orders of 22 May 2007, 2 April 2008 and this Order. Any other documents and their contents are not to be disclosed to any person or published save in accordance with Orders already made by the Court or further Order of the Court”. It may be noted that neither of the Parents is present today. I let it be known last week that providing their legal team was fully instructed neither parent need be present, and I would not criticise or bear any ill-feeling towards them if they chose to stay away. It was my decision as they have suffered enough, and I wished to ease their burden. I know the police authorities and other official law enforcement agencies in this country, in Portugal and elsewhere have striven and will continue to strive to trace Madeleine. I urge anyone who has any information however small or tenuous to come forward now so that further enquiries can be made. There is, of course, as least one person who knows what has happened to Madeleine, and where she may be found. I ponder about that person: whether that person has a heart and can understand what it must be like for Madeleine to have been torn and secreted from her parents and siblings whom she loves and felt secure with, and whom no doubt misses and grieves for. Whether that person has a conscience or any feeling of guilt, remorse or even cares about the hurt which has been caused to an innocent little girl: whether that person has a faith and belief, and what explanation or justification that person will give to God. I entreat that person whoever and wherever you may be to show mercy and compassion, and come forward now to tell us where Madeleine is to be found. I hope and pray that Madeleine will be found very soon alive and well. I confirm the Wardship and Madeleine will remain a Ward of Court until further Order of the Court. The case will be reserved to myself subject to my availability.
