Call them what you want, whatever it is:  IT DOESN'T WORK.  You can't sweep corners or funny edges or get around objects with those kinds of sweepers/mops.  Trust me.  I've used them before.  Many times.  You also have to keep those pads clean, or you get dirt streaks.   They're an attempt to make housework easier...even my grandma uses them (and trust me, she wouldn't if they didn't work!)  But I can't and will not. 

Companies are continually updating them and fixing them to "better fit our needs". . . but you know what?  I don't think this ever had to be re-made:

As far as I know, once the broom was invented, it was done. (Okay, I don't really know broom history, I'm just assuming, here.)  Sure, they made different kinds.  Ones with stronger bristles are mean for a workshop, for example.  But you just can't beat a good ol' broom.  IT WORKS and it won't leave a trail or miss corners!

And, hey, if you're wanting to do a really good job on your floors . . . well, this dates back quite far.  I'm guessing the stone-aged people used this technique when trying to break out of what we know as the "Stone Age".  :)

I got my mother to take those pictures of me because (this is really shameful) I have always used a mop.  I'm weeks away from turning 19 years old and in all those years I have NEVER scrubbed a floor on my hands and knees.  But I actually enjoyed it.  It did a better job, didn't leave as much water (so I could walk on it sooner) and if I DID happen to walk on it wet, it didn't really matter.  With a mop, you leave streaks of dirt in puddles of water, but with a rag, the dirt is already up, so you can walk as much as you please, as long as you don't mind getting your socks wet!

Lil’ Fame and Statik Selektah are currently working on a mixtape. Titled 15 Minutes of Fame, there is currently no release date but we’re hoping it’s longer than 15 minutes. The first single off the mixtape is “Security” and can currently be heard on our Audio Page.

Thursday night's set at Root Down at Little Temple Bar in Los Angeles, was to be an hour of hip hop videos. I've been Wolf's little blond shadow this week, following him from club to club. So, I was curious to see what he would break out to wow this crowd of uber hip hop fans. I feared it would be a bit like throwing Wolf to the lions.

With a fervent line snaking around Virgil Avenue, the mood was palpable. These lions wanted beats and wanted them bad. A capacity crowd, which included veteran and legend 9th Wonder, crammed themselves into the tiny room to see what Peanut Butter brought.

As PB stepped up to the mic, the crowd surged forward.

"So far, seven days and I'm here, rocking the same white tee shirt and the same Dodger hat...and I didn't even know that we got Manny." A few cheers were heard from fresh Manny Ramirez fans, but the rest of the crowd wanted music.

With a shout out to Dilla to kick things off, Wolf masterfully blended videos new and old, mixing flicks by Snoop Dogg, Wu Tang, and Method Man, with oldies by KRS One and De La Soul. Lest there be neophytes in the audience, he dropped hits by House of Pain, Onyx, and the Beastie Boys, but also broke out MOP, Leaders of the New School, and for the lovers of a high fade, Whistle's 'Just Buggin'.

The crowd was brimming with the kind of excitement only seen in kids on Christmas morning...that or the dudes in line at Best Buy the night before the premiere of the new Halo. However, the greatest testament to Wolf's set was the complete joy on the faces of his peers. 9th Wonder, Jedi and Rhettmatic cheered him on, rapped along and peppered his scratches with shout outs.

Wolf finaled his hour long set with a video by Breakestra, featuring Root Down promoter, and Breakestra founder Music Man Miles. He stopped to mention that though he promised to play all hip hop, Breakestra and DJ Dusk were masterful enough to blend funk, soul, latin and jazz and expand the ears of hip hop fans everywhere. So with that testament and a shout out to Dusk, Dilla and Charizma, Wolf ended with some Ruben Blades.

"Damn, it's hot in here." PBW exclaimed as he left the stage. "I think I lost five pounds." Likewise, the capacity crowd who stayed and sweated to the end, probably lost a combined ton in water weight. But that was just an added bonus to a night of electric sweat on the decks.

Oh and a side note - Wolf wasn't wearing the actual same white t-shirt for the past 7 days. Just like his week of 888 spinning, Peanut Butter Wolf smells like roses.

Don't know where this is from, maybe from Fame's new solo album that has been mentioned a few times in the past? Sounds pretty dope to me so lets hope that something full length materializes in the future, but most of all let's hope that the M.O.P. album drops in a near future.

A classic till this day blew up on the radio but saw no real video air play. They still made allot of noise

on the underground scene. They didn't really recieve any real mainstream glory until they released "Ante up and Cold as ice".

They duo have collaborated with legends like Dj premier. Lil fame has also produced and work with artists such as AZ, Big Noyd and Cormega.

Lil fame produced under the name of Fizzy WOmack. Big Mal was gunned down shortly before M.O.P. debuted in 1993, with the single "How About Some Hardcore?" which appeared on the soundtrack for the film House Party 3. The underground success of the single, promoted by a gritty, low-budget video from then-unknown director Hype Williams, led to their debut album To the Death.

There fame didn't really come till they release their third album "Warriorz" on Loud Records. Anti-up propelled the album to #25 on that album finally putting them on the map.

After that though in 2002 Loud Records folder and left MOP without a home. In 2003 Sony/Columbia released 10 years and gunning they then later joined Jay-z on Roc-a Fella records.

they were set to release their album titled Ghetto Warfare, but the eagerly anticipated album was shelved. According to M.O.P. themselves, two other albums were recorded: one under the title "The Last Generation", the other entitled "Kill N**** Die Slo Bluckka Bluckka Bloaoow Blood Sweat Tears and We Out".

They last signed with G-unit record. After being signed to G-Unit for 3 years, M.O.P have decided to move on. Laze M.O.P’s manager went on the record to say that they will still work with G-Unit in some way but they are moving on and looking for a new home. There were some creative differences with 50 Cent.
