Aν και το δεύτερο single απο το τελευταίο άλμπουμ της Μadonna, ειναι για άλλους μέτριο, και για άλλους πολύ καλό, το αντίστοιχο video clip ειναι πραγματικά εντυπωσιακό (έστω κι αν θυμίζει σε κάποια σημεία το Hung up). Για σας που δεν το έχετε, να η ευκαιρία να το κατεβάσετε.

Φημολογείτε οτι το 3ο και 4ο single μέσα απο το Hard Candy, θα ειναι τα Beat goes on και Miles away (το καλυτερό μου!) αντίστοιχα. Είδωμεν λοιπόν...

Schönes Anschauungsmaterial für die braunen PfandFlaschenSammler aus dem Süden.
Die patriotischen NPD[1]-Anhänger sind (offiziell) keine "Hitleristen" (Ähnlichkeiten bei Frisur und Oberlippenbart sind natürlich rein zufällig) und "prinzipiell" nicht antisemitisch. Ihre Gesinnungsarmut versuchen sie hinter blumigen Worten zu verbergen. Doch wenn die Farbe eines Headers (tendiert stark nach popelgrün) sympthomatisch für die Haltung der Weblog-Betreiber ist, dann bei PFS. Ätzend! :mrgreen:

The Web is Branded Entertainment

Aside from a tiny number of paid or subscription services it seems to me that the vast majority of the web is ad-supported in one way or another. There has been plenty of discussion, pro and con (here's a good example), as to whether or not this model can support the growth in web video but we're definitely gonna find out.

Beet.tv has a good interview with Fred Seibert, the creative director of NextNewNetworks about the current role of product placement in web video. Fred's a pretty smart guy and worth a listen.

There does seem to be a role for sponsored programming on the web but not at anywhere close to the budgets most producers have grown accustomed to. The truth is that nothing on the web consistently draws the number of viewers that currently watch TV and without focused consumption by a broad range of consumers advertisers are not going to pour their money all into one or two efforts.

This means smaller budgets for creators and producers in-line with their audience size.

Final Day at NY Comic Con. Because of a fluke error in scheduling, this year's con overlapped with the Jewish Passover holiday. Naturally not being Jewish I didn't really know about it till this weekend. The only real side-effect is that there's about 20% fewer people walking around the show floor. So for most of the day our crowd control during shoots was a lot easier. We still got a lot of looky-lous and "I going to cut across your shot and duck after I pass by the camera". No matter how hard you try, shooting in crowded public areas is tough. There was a lot of fixing in post needless to say.

Sunday ran from about 10AM-4PM, so I got out an hour earlier than Saturday. I needed all the sleep I could get. By the end I think we were all running around like Zombies, or Zombies with make-up on. Just kidding (Alex). I did notice that next year's convention would be in February. Probably because of the whole Passover thing. Now people have started to cry foul and say NYCC '09 will overlap with Superbowl Sunday. I guess we'll see.

Highlights from Sunday included:

-Making rounds to all the licensed toy booths. The first couple days were mostly comic/movie creator interviews.

-Getting a "Portfolio Review" video from the guys at Marvel using Manny as a guinea pig. Special thanks to Marvel editors Nate Cosby and Jordan White.

-Listening to Kyle Baker talk about his gut wrenching decision to go with a family oriented booth for artist's alley or use his "Special Forces" material for an NC-17 booth. The picture above says it all.

-Watching Rags Morales draw Solomon Grundy.

-Watching Ethan Van Sciver lean into our interview with Rags Morales to offer some funny anectdotes.

What is a triple net or NNN lease?

A triple net, net net net, NNN or net lease is when the tenant pays the expenses such as property taxes, insurance and maintenance costs in addition to the base rent. The triple net expenses are usually quoted as a cost per square foot per year which is added to the base rent cost per square foot per year. Depending on how the lease agreement is written, there may be a provision for an annual review of annual expenses and if the amount collected was less than the actual expenses, the tenant may be billed for this difference or the triple net charge for the next 12 month period may be increased or both of these. There also could be a refund or a reduction in the triple net charges. It is the lease agreement that will define how this is handled. It is common for the tenant to also be responsible for maintenance and repairs to mechanical systems such and heating and air conditioning, entry doors and glass. This arrangement is typical in many retail space properties and some office lease agreements. Triple net lease provisions are also found in most warehouse or industrial leases. So your question might be, why do some landlords pay for these expenses and others don't? There are a variety of reasons ranging from the vacancy rate in the complex or market place, the age of the complex, the demand for space in the geographical area, and the history or credit worthiness of the tenant. Another commonly asked question is what is the best type of lease to have if you are the tenant or more favorable if you are the landlord? The truth is, it all depends. A tenant could be looking at three or four different options for space that may involve three different types of leases. The only way to know which is more attractive is to do an analysis of all three and then compare the total cost of each. I will continue through out these postings to remind you to not assume when you hear the terms, triple net or full service lease that you understand what that means. Always refer to the lease agreement to understand the total picture of the agreement. If there is language in the agreement that is not clear, ask questions. Have an experienced real estate attorney review and explain the document to you. Tilzy has a nice post on NextNewNetworks influx of cash ($15M from Goldman Sachs and Velocity Interactive Group). "The risk that so scares Hollywood executives is amortized: new media studios like NNN will thrive by finding and serving modest sized audiences, not by pandering to the lowest common denominator (aka creating hits), but by creating and experimenting. "Tilzy also has links to other relevant coverage. I've yet to find an NNN site that really thrills me but they've done a nice job showing how niche content can be a sustainable business model.

Para mi fiel lectores de El Noticiero Alvarez Galloso, les habla Roberto Alvarez-Galloso. Un dia en mi ordenador portatil, prendi la radio y television dentro de mi ordenador para ver el Canal 2 de Nicrargua. Fue un grato momento cuando vi por primera vez a NNN. Me moria de risas pues NNN es comedia pura. Me olvide de mis penas. Aqui tengo a los integrantes de NNN y para mi es un placer poder entrevistarlo.

RCAG: Me gustaría que los integrantes hablara de sus carreras en el mundo artístico sus comienzos y trayectoria.

NNN:Nos conocimos en 1997, mientras los dos tratábamos de ingresar al mundo de la radio difusión, éramos dos principiantes y ambos teníamos turnos diferentes en la emisora, para el año 2004 tuvimos la oportunidad de hacer nuestro primer programa de comedia en la radio juntos al cual llamamos LAS TAPAS DE LA DORITA y luego iniciamos el proyecto NNN.

RCAG: Para aquellos que no conocen NNN y Canal 2 de Nicaragua, de que se trata NNN?

NNN: NNN es el acrónimo de nicaraguan news network, un programa que parodia las noticias nacionales e internacionales.

RCAG: Como fueron los orígenes de NNN?

NNN: Iniciamos el 20 de octubre del 2006 en pleno periodo electoral, nuestro primer programa al aire fue el piloto que entregamos que presentamos al canal.

RCAG: Cuales son los ídolos de los integrantes de NNN en el mundo del espectáculo en especial la comedia?

NNN:

J.R: una de mis grandes motivaciones para hacer comedia ha sido Omar Chaparro y Adrián Uribe dos comediantes jóvenes mexicanos a los cuales he tenido el deseo de conocer personalmente pero todavía no se ha dado la oportunidad.

RCAG:Cual es el grado de dificultad en hacer comedia en Nicaragua?

NNN: Muy alto sobre todo porque no es muy apoyado por las empresas, los comediantes hasta la fecha no somos tomados seriamente a la hora de negociar.

RCAG:En que se debe el éxito de NNN?

NNN: Nuestra originalidad, todo nuestro material es creado por nosotros, nuestros personajes son propios y sobre toda las cosas, a que resaltamos la idiosincrasia de nuestro país Nicaragua.

RCAG: Cual fue el mejor momento de NNN?

NNN: Ya lo estamos viviendo, la aceptación de la gente, nos tienen mucho cariño y reconocen nuestro trabajo, nos llena de mucha alegría.

RCAG: Como ves NNN en el futuro?

NNN: Como un programa de aceptación internacional.

RCAG: Has contemplado o lo has hecho una obra teatral de NNN?

RCAG:Cual consejo daria a los que quieren ingresar en el mundo del espectáculo en especial la comedia?

NNN: Que busquen como estudiar y saquen su carrera universitaria.

Para mi, fue un placer poder y honor conversar con NNN. NNN por su comedia pura gano un fiel oyente de su programa aunque vivo en la Florida. Queria concluir que una vez siendo adolecente en el norte de los EEUU durante los inviernos fuertes, logre [puede ser un milagro] poder escuchar a Canal 2 de Nicaragua en mi receptor de onda corta. Fue en Enero 1977 dicha obra historica pues Canal 2 era una cadena de Television y escucharlo en mi receptor de onda corta fue un milagro.

He tenido el honor en morirme de la risa con NNN de Canal 2 de Nicaragua. Quiero extender una invitacion a NNN para ser entrevistado en mi revista electronica. Aunque las oligarquias de la izquierda y derecha dicen lo contrario, considero NNN uno de los mejores de la comedia. Por eso y mucho mas, extiendo mi invitacion.
