Scarborough Athletic FC es el ganador del Premio AG Nuevo Equipo del A`no 2007 por estar al frente en el futbol a pesar de los "expertos" del futbol sobre la muerte de futbol. Por eso y mucho mas Scarborough Athletic recibe este premio incluso por tener hinchas en lugares como Italia y EEUU.

As a football fan, Roberto welcomes the idea of a football supporter website owning a football club. Some may have talked about the feasibility of such an experiment but it is a great idea.

The winner of this match will be able to advance towards the First Round by playing either Thornaby or Guisborough Town.

This also includes the fact that Scarborough Athletic will be playing against Rossington Main on the 10^th of November 2007.

Joe Lightowler who is the striker for Scarborough Athletic has been ruled until the beginning of the next preseason. The reason is a surgery in the knee secondary to an injury he sustained during the game at Rainworth. This comes at a time when more bad news arrived with the suspension of Medcalf and the position of the team in eighth place with thirteen points in the First Division of the NCEL.Regardless, Scarborough Athletic like Scarborough itself is like the mythical Phoenix arising from its mistakes to go for more glory. Scarborough Athletic will win and win big. Football runs in the veins of Scarborough via its teams Scarborough and now Scarborough Athletic.

La Razon, sus jugadores no fueron tenian los requisitos legitimos para jugar pues estaban bajo suspension. Jugadores como Hogg, Phillips, Hightower fueron suspendidos de sus ligas pero no hicieron la notificacion debida al equipo.

Aunque Scarborough Athletic tenian la responsabilidad en estudiar los expedientes de los que quieren jugar, no fue justo el castigo. Las reglas deben ser transparente y justa para todo el mundo.

The reason has been for having ineligible players such as Craig Hogg, Darren Phillips and Joe Hightower [suspended by the East Riding County FA while playing at Scarborough Atheltic FC].

Normally, the North Riding County FA notifies Scarborough Athletic FC of any actions against players that sign with Scarborough FC. In this case, there were no notifications from the Football Associations or the above mentioned Football Players.

It is unfair to punish a recently formed club for rules that they did not violate willingly. It is unfair since Scarborough Athletic did not even receive notification. Scarborough Athletic will have to be direct with its Football Associations and from future players so that the club is not taked advantage of.

In spite of this injustice, Scarborough Athletic was able to defeat Yorkshire Amateur 3 to 0.

Carl Wood signed a contract with Scarborough Athletic on the 19^th of October 2007. Carl Wood previously played for Frickley United, North Ferriby United, and the Hall Road Rangers.

His first game with the Scarborough Athletic Football Club was against Bottesford Town on the 20^th of October 2007. Although Scarborough Athletic lost 3 to 1 against Bottesford Town, it is only a beginning. It remains to see what will happen when Carl Wood and Scarborough Athletic plays against the Winterton Rangers on the 24^th of October 2007. This was the game that was postponed from the 18^th of October to the 24^th of October 2007.

In the beginning of 2007, Scarborough FC was liquidated after nearly a century and a half as a football club. The end of 2007 has been a witness to the rebirth of Scarborough Athletic Football Club by the Seadog Trust [a trust formed for Scarborough Athletic Football Supporters].

As a testimony to the rebirth of Scarborough, Brian France [the manager at Boro] announced the signing of Anthony Bowsley, Andy Neill, and Ryan Blott to the team.

Scarborough Athletic will also be playing against Kirkbymoorside on the 13^th of October 2007 for the North Riding Senior Cup. At the present time in the First Division of the NCEL Division, Scarborough Athletic are in Third Place with Nine Points.

It still remains to be seen whether this rebirth is temporary or permanent. It all depends on the support of those who have been with Scarborough [including those who signed the petition to save the previous Scarborough FC].

2007 fue testigo de la muerte y el renacimiento del Club de Futbol de Scarborough. A partir de Agosto 2007, el Club de Futbol los Atleticos de Scarborough es uno de los primeros equipos cuyos due~nos son los hinchas.

El equipo parece tener un buen comienzo con la firma de Anthony Bowsley, Andy Neill, y Ryan Blott con el equipo. El club lleva ventaja con nueve puntos y en tercer lugar en la Liga de la Primera Division de la NCEL.

Solo el tiempo dira como sera el futuro de Scarborough y depende de los hinchas.
