I completely take back what I said about feeling sorry for Rolo. During episode 14, I was highly disappointed when Lelouch missed his chance to explode him. Reason behind my anger is his over jealousy and how he lied to Lelouch about why he killed Shirley just to cover his own ass.

Shirley´s death was a big drawback in Suzaku and Lelouch´s friendship. Sure it´s pretty ruined already, but as episode 13 showed, Suzaku has started to forgive Lelouch. That moment they had at the roof, right after Shirley´s suicide attempt, was like back in the good old days when they didn´t hate each other. But now when Shirley´s dead, Suzaku of course blames Lelouch for killing her and once again, huge misunderstanding is created making their terms even worser than before. All this just because Rolo didn´t want Shirley to interfere his quality time with big brother.

To ease my anger, let´s talk about good points of this episode. The Order is down, Lulu is facing his nemesis, Cornelia had her revenge and V.V. is the most moé character in Geass. What can I say? Nina´s been too quiet lately and I´m searching replacement for her. V.V.´s brother complex and calm psychoness are too irresistible. Beats pouting Rolo as a brother any time. It is clear that Lelouch is son of the Emperor, they both have obsessive brother beside them, sending yaoi vibes around. Like father, like son, as they say...

This facial distortion of Lelouch is priceless. I gotta see more of this in the next episodes.

So that is where Lelouch got his black hair and where Nunnally got her curls.

Hmm... So Charles has the looks back in those days. No wonder he could have many wives. Not bad. How come he looks so stupid now?

CC in equestrian clothes is cute. :-)

Damn you Rolo! I so hate that face. He admitted that he killed Shirley with a straight face when all he wanted...

... was a hug and a kiss from his brother. I was really hoping he would be killed in this episode. Too bad, Cornelia saved him unintentionally.

And he suddenly appears while NIna is crying. Nice insticts boy. From this shot, no matter how I look at him, he looks like a girl.

Is it just me, or did Milly lose her boobs? Maybe she loses them when she mourns.

Again, my deepest condolences for Shirley. May she rest in peace.

My number two most hated in Code Geass. I don't know why. The first time I saw his face and I heard his voice, I got pissed off. LOL. I just so love seeing him in pain.

Another gay so in love with Lelouch's persona that just can't take the fact that he is Zero. He now takes the number 3 spot in my most hated list after Rolo and VV for the mere fact that he is trying to take Kallen away.

How I missed Kallen and her booby pair. Good thing she is back on the spotlight.

At the end of episode 13 of CODE GEASS R2, Shirley was seen dead. It caused a devastating effects on Lelouch since he loves her. It was unknown what or who caused it. It was said that she was shot because of the looks on her wound.

The ending song was not that enjoyable for me but the angelic Clamp trademark animation is excellent.

And second, so many things happened. JUST SO MANY!!! And I can't help but feel sad about this episode.

The whole episode revolves around Shirley whose memories have returned. It was so like her memorial day. But first off, we have Orange-kun attacking Ashford, cancelling Rolo's geass while CAUGHT in it and having an awesome fight scene with ninja/maid Sayoko. And thanks to Jason [edit: Jason says in his later post it was Ruffles, but Ruffles say it was an anonymous pervert], I was not able to miss the superb panty shot that comes with the action scene.

At the same time, V.V. and Cornelia meet in the Order hallway. This scene just showed that V.V. is an immortal or I may say cannot be killed by ordinary means and that Cornelia seems to have gotten some rest before R2 since she seems way hotter now.

Afterward, Lelouch, Shirley and Suzaku meet while Lulu is testing his anti-Sakuradite train and while Shirley is trying to tell Suzaku that Lulu is Zero. And then, Shirley goes into a fit and falls. For one moment, I thought she would already go into a worthless death.

And here goes Orange-kun facing off with Lelouch. And poof! Orange-kun suddenly confesses his lust loyalty to Empress Marianne (Lelouch's mom). And so now, Orange-kun is part of the Black Knights.

Finally, there is the Shirley x Rolo match-up. How stupid of Shirley to pick the line "And his sister Nunnally as well." But, just WTF is that gay brother thinking to kill Shirley just like that. It made me want to kick his ass and slice him the way Sekai was minced by Kotonoha. Now, I am one swimsuit fanservice short. Damn Rolo!

Shirley meeting up with Lulu before her death was a very toching moment. At some point, I was really hoping that Lulu's geass would take effect and make Shirley live. I think I replayed Shirley's lines to Lulu about 7 more times after I finished the episode. It says:

"No matter how many time I'm reborn, I'm sure I'll fall in love with you again."

If Lelouch didn't have this emo facial distortion, I would have dumped him in the garbage together with his gay sister brother wannabe.

For those who don't know Code Geass is an anime (one of the best, in my opinion. But I'm obsessed.) If the awesomeness doesn't convince you to start watching, maybe this will: CLAMP character designs!

Not really special, but meh.

Code Geass is about Lelouch Lamperouge, a Britannian student who finds himself with Geass, or more specifically in his case, the power of the king, while out from school. He now has the power to command each person on the world to do something - but only once. They forget they have been commanded to afterwards, too. He allies with terrorists in Area 11, previously known as Japan before an invasion by Britannia, and calls himself Zero. It's quite ironic, since Lelouch is a prince of Britannia, but is fighting to revenge his assassinated mother and create a world for his sister (Nunnally) to live in peacefully. It is further complicated by the appearance of his old friend, Kururugi Suzaku (Suzaku Kururugi in Britannian order), the son of the previous prime minister who is part of the Britannian army. Soon, fate plots them against each other as they both try to change the world.

Excuse my crappy summary - it's actually mine! How awesome! If that doesn't compel you, it's filled with intrigue and the second season (R2) is currently showing now. I beg you to watch it, since it's better than ever this season and Lelouch's voice is hot! -coughdidntsaythatcough-

Familiar voice actors would be Noriaki Sugiyama who appears as Rivalz and some other character (can't remember) who voices Ishida Uryuu and Uchiha Sasuke (you should recognise them!), Fumiko Orikasa who is Shirley Fenette who also voices Kuchiki Rukia, Jun Fukuyama who is Lelouch (hottest voice evah!) who voices Kimihiro Watanabe from xxxHolic and Itsuki Iba from Rental Magica (I actually watched the first episode and when his evil eye came out, I was like, "OMG! Lelouch!" XD), Takahiro Sakurai who's Suzaku, also voices Yuri Shibuya (KKM), Cloud (FF), Takamine Kiyomaro (Zatch Bell), Shiryu (Seint Seiya), Yuu Kanda (D.Gray-Man) and Haseo (.hack//Roots), and Yukana (yes, only one name) who is CC (pronounced C2), voiced Kotoko in Chobits, Rinslet Walker in Black Cat and Tessa in Full Metal Panic. Just did research on the main three then~

Kallen's voice actor also does some, but not as popular. She was in School Rumble as Tenma, though.

The Code Geass bunch xD not really. I drew this today. They're my team ups. I'm a Lulu/CC & Lulu/Suzu shipper. You cannot deny the cuteness D< Pity Suzu-kun's being such a betch to Lulu *A* I'm currently watching Code Geass: R2 mind you. It's pretty good so far .More than good actually. I always am looking forward to the nest episodes. I hope Lulu doesn't die. I'll cry. Literally. Anyone watching this as well?

For those who haven't here's a little info about the three featured characters <3

: Lelouch Lamperouge/ Vi Britania: 

the title character and protagonist of the show. Seemingly an ordinary 17-year-old student at the Ashford Academy, Lelouch Lamperouge, also called Lelou (ルル Ruru^?) by his friends, is in fact the son of the Emperor of Britannia and the late Empress Marianne and a member of the Britannia Imperial Family. His real name is Lelouch Vi Britannia (ルルーシュ・ヴィ・ブリタニア Rurūshu Vi Buritania^?) and he was the eleventh prince in line for the title of seventeenth emperor of the britannian empire prior to his mother's assassination. In an incident, he gained the power of Geass and started his quest on destroying Britannia under the mask, Zero. At the same time, Lelouch tries to make a place where there is no hatred or conflict for his sister Nunnally before she is able to see again.

:Kururugi Suzaku:

Lelouch's childhood friend and son of Japan's last prime minister. He is in the service of the Britannia Army as a soldier, and was chosen to test a new model of the Knightmare Frame, Lancelot. Suzaku claims achieving results by wrong or illegal methods is meaningless and does not approve of Zero's actions.

A mysterious green-haired girl who bestows the power of Geass upon Lelouch under the condition that he would grant her greatest wish. Her abilities caught the interest of Britannia and she was imprisoned as a part of Britannia's experiments in the past. She passively oversees Lelouch's missions to ensure that he does not die and to help his plans succeed.

I got that from wikipedia OTL. They're more or less the main characters. Lelouch being the main of all main characters in this anime. Code Geass was created by SunRise. The character design done by no other but CLAMP. They live up to their names. Honestly. Though I point out, it's not only my opinion, it reminds me of DeathNote and Gundam combined.

Suzaku´s idealistic crusade continues. Now he wants to be the lord of a whole Area11.

If his ranks keeps going up, it might be possible. But there´s still a long way from Knight of Seven to be One, especially when each knight´s skills are at the same level, or even higher, with Suzaku. At the same time he tries to get promoted little by little, Brits keep on tormenting Elevens. If you watch his plan from this point of view, Zero´s revolution seems a much better option than Suzaku´s dream to be the lord. It will happen sooner and it will change the whole system.

Now that Suzaku is back at school, R2 is even more interesting than before. Suzaku is closely keeping an eye on Lelouch´s every move, while Lelouch tries to hide the fact that he had his memories back. What makes this interesting is that the school-comedy from the first season has returned, but now it´s just an facade to cover the truth. It´s like in the good old days when they didn´t know about each other´s double lifes and had fun together. Now they know, but it´s still school-comedy because Suzaku haven´t realised yet that Lelouch remembers all and is controlling Black Knights from the shadows.

I hope that Rolo´s obsession with Lelouch gets worser now that Nunnaly is back in the picture. I want to see over jealous Rolo pondering on how to make nii-chan like him more, although he understands that it´s impossible because of Lulu´s siscon.

My yaoi senses are tingling... In this case, I seriously wish they wouldn´t...

...but this is very relevant to my interests.

Nico Nico Douga yet again proves to be a fountain of enjoyment for those individuals who absolutely love anime. For the sake of simplicity and accessibility, the following video (which I did not create) was promptly saved and uploaded onto a more wordpress.com-friendly media platform. The website may be inconveniencing to work with as it can be abstruse for those who aren't proficient with Japanese, even if the sign-up page is fairly uniform in structure, because let's face it - registering is a chore.

55 minutes; 525 anime (with the occasional game and fandom mixed in) songs to put the anime-inclined facet of your being to test. How many can you recognise? I'm personally interested (comments below post).

This was seriously the best 55 minutes I've experienced in quite some time, so credit goes to the creator of the video. Unfortunately, I was only able to attain a meager score of 130-ish, which further pertains to the fact that I've viewed a very limited selection of titles (HUGE SADFACE). Admittedly though, I was in possession of a rather compelling urge to sing along with some of the songs that were met with recognition because their presence made me excitable. Did anybody else feel that way?

After listening to medley, for some odd reason I was driven into a semi-contemplative state where I pondered about certain insignificant matters that just happened to casually plague my mind. Incidentally, it may just have been because of the slightly nostalgic Chobits OP, quite possibly paired in conjunction with my boredom at that time. One case in particular is that I've developed a peculiar sense of anxiety whenever I begin on an anime that's targeted at an older audience (most notably seinen works) in which the female lead is also the primary romantic interest of the protagonist; however, additionally she is also inhuman or is related to/is of a supernatural origin; ie. Saber from Fate/stay night, Arcueid from Tsukihime, Mahoro from Mahoromatic; you get the idea. Because the conclusive outcome (or at the very least, the fact that something is bound to occur at some point) of such anime is often subjected to resolute conjecture (complimented by unrivaled clarity) in most cases for this specific genre, I always watch them agonising in anticipation for those melancholic feelings of depression, which are inevitable and will become prevalent when shit hits the fan.

I am just unable to shake that lingering premonition that stays with you the entire time, and I'm sure many people feel the same way. It's my assumption that this whole issue of oversensitivity for me probably originated from Chobits, as it was amongst the first anime I had viewed which harboured this particular aspect, though coincidentally it followed up with a happy ending.

I'm sorry, I was just rambling again. So, how many did you get?

Lots of questions from the first season were answered in four episodes of R2, but there´s still many secrets left open. What bothers me most, is that how C.C. survived from the bottom of the sea? Maybe because of the ridiculousness of Sunrise is endless...

People working at Sunrise are real magicians, they could continue Code Geass without having any too impossible plot twists. Lelouch´s manipulated memory and Suzaku´s U-turn were both great ideas and because of them series can continue to a new directions. Now when Lelouch and Suzaku are pissed off to each other and know each other´s real identities, Code Geass is truly a battle between them, not some Zero vs. Lancelot thing.

New characters seems interesting, especially Rolo. Rolo´s lovely, he´s ruthless killer but also very naive. His obsession towards Lelouch is umm... interesting. When he says `nii-san´ with such an passion it makes fangirls crazy. I almost feel sorry for him when I think about how Lelouch will deceive him. It´s almost because I still root for Lelouch and I want him to be succesful with his schemings.

Which leads to one of the important issues of Code Geass, at least to me. Which one I support more, Lelouch or Suzaku? I´ve noticed that Suzaku is one of the most hated Geass characters. People don´t like his hypocritical behaviour, his intervening of Lelouch´s plans, being too emo or then they just say his face annoys them. Recent poll at Random Curiosity revealed that 75% of 6340 people want him dead more than Lelouch, 10% doesn´t watch Code Geass so that leaves only 15% of votes to Lelouch. Lelouch has an huge and loyal fanbase of both boys and girls. I also like him and root for him as I said before. But here comes the dilemma; I´m more in love with Suzaku than Lelouch. I want Lelouch to win, but only when he´s not fighting against Suzaku. When that happens, it´s usually Suzaku that I wish to win. Why I like him when others hate? My liking is a combination of many things like his personality, looks and relationships with others. Main reason for my liking is definitely that he has one of the most drastic personality changes during the first season, from kind and caring friend to cruel foe. It´s only natural that Suzaku´s psycho moé aspect attracts a yandere fan like me.

And this leads to another thing; Look who´s back even sexier than before. Aww~~ I missed that crazy face... Sadly she didn´t have any lines yet or they haven´t shown how the crisis she made was solved.

I love you Sunrise for making your animes full of gay innuendoes. ♥

I´m going to keep blogging about Code Geass R2, after all, season 1 is one of my favourite animes and these four episodes of R2 impressed me. They added new interesting characters into the series and made an great conclusion to the first season´s cliff hanger ending. My inner Code Geass-fan is definitely awake again.

En lo personal al principio Code Geass no me gustaba mucho, pero le di la oportunidad y con el buen ritmo caracteristico de Sunrise, la serie me fue conquistando :) . Code Geass R2 nos lleva 1 año después de los sucesos finales de la primer temporada, luego de que la Rebelion fallará en su intento por recuperar Japón de Brittania y del choque entre Suzaku y Lelouch.

Observamos a un lelouch que vive una vida normal, con una Villeta que sale como maestra de educación fisica molestandolo continuamente por sus ausencias, un "nuevo" hermano menor Rolo (lolo??) y que además no parece recordar que el es Zero, sobre el Geass que posee, ni a su hermana y menos a CC, aunque igual tiene la sensación de que algo le falta.

El primer capitulo tiene gran semejanza con el primero de la temporada anterior, vemos un lelouch molesto con la situación actual y la opresión de los "elevens", tiene un partido de ajedrez contra un tipo presumido, por asares del destino se ve envuelto en una revuelta de rebeldes y el imperio de britania, y se encuentra a CC, con la que hace de nuevo el pacto para optener nuevamente el Geass, sus memorias y salir ileso de dicha situación....

Actualmente van salidos 3 capitulos en japón, y el misterio de la situación actual fue revelado de una manera relativamente rápida, basicamente lo que pasó entre el final de la primera y la segunda temporada fue que Suzaku derrotó a Lelouch pero no lo mató, se lo entregó al emperador pidiendo como recompensa que lo ascendiera a un equipo especial bajo las ordenes directas del emperador.

El emperador se mostró como un usuario de Geass y reescribió las memorias de Lelouch para utilizarlo de carnada en la captura de CC, quien resulta ser una amenaza mayor. Villeta y Rolo (que resulta ser usuario de un Geass que parece detener el tiempo en un area determinada) son parte de un equipo del Ejercito de britania para vigilar a Lelouch en todo momento, esperando que CC haga contacto con él y así capturarla.

Me hubiera gustado que Lelouch muriera en la pelea contra Suzaku, no me agrada como personaje principal pero bueno, veamos como resulta de aqui en adelante, porque de entrada se ve interesante :)

I'm leaning towards the 'uke' thing 'cuz honestly, Nunally being turned into Rollo is a very fucked idea. Possible, but fucked. Then again ... since when was fucked a bad thing ==; Great, I'm not making myself clear again.

Seme with Rollo or Uke with Suzaku? Normally, I'd say uke with Suzaku. But I'm kind of in a "I hate you Suzaku" stage. Then again, who isn't right now? I demand my "yasashii" seme back. Okay, I'll save the rest of the hate rant later. I'm still torn about Suzaku but really, I can't have Lulu any other way than 'uke'. He can cook ... and do other various housekeeping work so it seems. I want a "naked apron" scenario in a doujin once I get over hating Suzaku ... if I ever end up not hating him anymore. Maybe if I watched the first season again I'll remember why I loved him so much. (I'll bet Sakurai has something to do with it)

Before I get to Suzaku, let me just say I absolutely love the little cat fights C.C and Kallen have. C.C's winning tho' and I highly doubt that's ever going to change.

(For some reason the Chinese-fed guy with the strange voice reminds me of the freaky (but hillarious) voice KoniTan used in some part of Neo Romance Festa 9)

OHAI Suzaku. Too bad I'm not happy too see you (damned asshole). Plus he's become a fucking Set-chan wannabe. Next thing y'know he'll spouting stuff like "I AM GUNDAM-U!" and I won't find it cute at all because it isn't Set-chan. Really, either Suzaku open his eyes and return to being Lulu's lover or he realizes it too late and dies. I'm leaning towards the 'dying' theory tho' ... I'd really love to see Lulu scream and cry about it (I wouldn't have it any other way)

It makes me sad how distant and cold Suzaku's voice has become. I'm not used to hearing Sakurai's voice that way ...

Okay. So between Rolo and Suzaku ... who do I dislike more? Honestly, I'm not sure. Rolo has his cute moments but he's an ass overall. Another contest, between Lulu and Light whose the better actor? Beh, Lulu wins of course ... so back to Rolo and Suzaku.

When Rolo panicked over the locket, I honestly found it REALLY REALY cute. I mean look at that face -dies inside- I'm sorry Suzaku, but Rolo's beating you. When Suzaku meets Lulu face2face again, I might change my mind ... but then again, Suzaku might lose even more points when that happens.

Since code geass is licensed it will be airing on Adult Swim on the 26th of the month(w00t!) the DvDs should follow shortly after. Johnny Yong Bosch and Yuri Lowenthal will voice Lelouch and Suzaku. I really cannot imagine Johnny laughing like a madman, while I think Yuri is a decent voice for Suzaku. Anyway the dub looks like it will be awesome so check it out!
