Cei interesati de aceasta serie stiu, sau daca nu, afla acum, ca saptamana aceasta a fost difuzat ultimul episod. Inca nu pot sa fac un review la serie, pentru ca n-am apucat sa vad ultimele 4 episoade.

Ceea ce vreau sa va spun este ca seria va avea o continuare anuntata sa apara in 2009. Nu se stie data exacta dar mai este timp destul pana in 2009 ;) Noua serie se va numi The Tower of Druaga:the Sword of Uruk.

The story revolves around Gil, the Hero. Gil is the chosen one to defeat the evil God Druaga once again, since the last Hero did so too. With his four other companions they travel to the tower where Druaga hides in. Along the way, the Hero receives an armour from a Goddess,(Seint Seiya) uppercuts his comrade to convince him to be the Hero,(Hajime no Ippo) meets the Black Knight,(Gundam) shoots beams from his sword,(Zelda) RAAAAAAAAAAGES over his fallen comrades,(any fighting shonen really) their defendless little mage gets tentacle raped,(lol tentacle hentai) Aquamentus made an appearance,(first Zelda game, the first boss, but really, almost any RPG has a fire spewing dragon) Power Rangers made their appearance too. The best one was probably at the end, a big Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Dragon Ball parody in one. When this was over, the Hero woke up. He had all just dreamed these events and finds out that he and his comrades are at the beginning of the Tower.

Funny though, since the plot outline is this;

The Summer of "Anu": In a summer once every five years, demons in the mysterious Tower of Druaga lose their powers due to the magic spell cast by a god named "Anu". King Gilgamesh, ruler of the kingdom Uruk, uses the appearance of demons as an excuse to invade the tower and find out the construct's secrets. As 80 years passed, the Uruk army managed to fight back the demons and built a fortress city and safe haven on the very first floor of Druaga - Metz Kier. Thus begins the story of a warrior named Gil who, finding companions along the way, embarks on a quest for the fabled Blue Crystal Rod, a powerful artifact rumored to be in the highest floor of Druaga. However, other competitors, including the kingdom of Uruk itself, want the treasure, all for their own reasons.

Rumor has it that Gonzo releases 2 versions, 1 for free and 1 for subscribers. If this is true, then I'll probably watch the free lulz version. This is just hilarious shit.

First episode made me eager to watch more, only thing confusing is the opening theme, upbeat ska is always nice, but the images are set in our time. So they might pull a .hack or they're just taking a piss with us.

GDH, la compañía japonesa padre de los estudios productores de anime Gonzo Works, ha anunciado la emisión en línea de dos de sus nuevos títulos de anime el mismo día que su estreno en las televisoras del Japón. Los títulos son The Tower of Druaga: the Aegis of Uruk y Blassreiter, los cuales se estrenarán los días 4 y 5 de abril respectivamente.

Los sitios de internet que entraron en acuerdo con GDH para transmitir la serie son YouTube, Crunchyroll y BOST, y aunque los aspectos técnicos y comerciales del trato no han sido revelados, se ha dicho que estos estarán entre el rango de "emisión gratuita hasta descargas por paga de archivos de vídeo de alta resolución". Estos servicios serán disponibles sólo para los usuarios fuera del Japón, aunque no se ha anunciado si algún otro país tendrá restricciones (esperemos que nosotros no, ya que muchas veces parece que México no es parte del mundo con respecto a las promociones "mundiales"). ¿Y qué es lo que motivó esta generosa decisión?

ドルアーガの塔 〜the Aegis of URUK〜

Code Geass isn't the only anticipating series coming out in Spring '08. Now there is an anime adaptation of The Tower of Druaga. The story is set two years later and the legend continues to live on. Corruption of several different areas fall into one place as new drama and mystery evolve. Expect lots of action and adventure surrounding the ominous Tower of Druaga.

I've just read the article for this series in the latest edition of NewType and it sounds good. Not only that, the character designs are quite captivating as well. My memory's bad, so I really can't recall the details, so I really have no idea what the plot of this anime is about. I remember that there's a lot of bad happenings and then something to do with them all colliding. One of the four main characters is called Fatina and she has a large blade as her weapon. Other than that, everything else is a blur.

Same goes with Code Geass season 2, although it's most likely those guys WILL be blogging it, so it saves the trouble for me. Hehe ... ^^"

I am...so...unbelievably excited for this. I am actually a freaking big fan of the Epic of Gilgamesh and you even mention a character or place from there and I am on that shit. Except the Gilgamesh anime, I'm not really interested in that.

But, I'm excited for this because Uruk is the city over which Gilgamesh ruled and the walls were engraved with his Epic. I believe this anime in question is based on a game, yes?

The animation looks great, but since the characters look far to Sci-Fi I can dash any hopes about this being about Gilgamesh or Enkidu or Humbaba or anything of the like.  -_-

Oh well, still looks beautiful and that soundtrack. Such a beautiful orchestrated soundtrack it might be.

The story? The plot? I do not know. But I will update when I find out. I haven't been this excited for something since...since...um...I found out the second season of Code Geass is coming out soon. (I had nothing better.)
