Dice la gacetilla: "Saber qué decir, cómo decirlo y la forma de decirlo son algunas de las claves básicas para trasformarse en un (buen) conductor de televisión. Desarrollar las habilidades necesarias, potenciar un estilo personal y adquirir los recursos técnicos apropiados para salir en cámara son las claves del nuevo curso que brindan dos reconocidos profesionales del medio".
Finalmente, "el curso está destinado a periodistas, estudiantes de carreras afines a la comunicación, locutores o aspirantes a esta carrera. Modelos (?), actores (?), empresarios, relacionistas públicos (?), voceros, políticos, y cualquier otra persona interesada en desarrollar sus aptitudes para afrontar el trabajo de esta profesión". Sumo a lista: deportistas, cocineros, personas peladas, albinos, bigotudos, padres, alumnos, tutor o encargado, integrantes de la cooperadora, público en general.
Uno que andaba por ahí me comenta: "¡Che! ¿Massaccesi no es el que quedó garpando y puso cara de bobo en la conferencia que Cristina Fernández brindó a los medios argentinos? Y Sandra Borghi ¿no es esa que grita cada vez que hace un móvil?". Yo le digo: "si, son esos".

The rental market, I believe, is about to get very competetive.  Home owners are being forced out of the home under negative financial circumstances....so they will not be able to buy another home for a while....which means they will have to rent.  Rentals are going to be in great demand.  I believe the greatest demand will be single family houses with yards, however apartments and condo rentals will still be popular. 

If you are already renting, this is bad news for you, because you are going to see your rents go up, under no fault of your own.  Supply and demand are basic economics.  Home owners are moving into the rental market because (A) they do not have the credit to qualify for a new home loan (B) they do not have the required down payment to qualify for a mortgage loan (C) mortgage loans are tougher to get in general.

The opportunity for buyers in real estate is phenomenal right now!  Yes, I realize the economy is weak and that people are losing money on Wall Street, main street, etc.  However, people still need housing and shelter.  Housing prices are down.  You can purchase a home in many cases with only a 3% down payment, and at the moment, you can most likely afford a home with a mortgage payment that is the same as, or less than what you have been paying in rent.  If you are a first-time home buyer you qualify for mad tax-incentives to buy.....so your income taxes will be reduced....etc.  There are too many reasons to buy a home now if you can.  And there are some incredible deals out there.

We live about 100 miles from Memphis, which is known for many things, including Elvis Presley...and Graceland. Charles and I have visited Graceland in the past. Renzo Gacé y Andrés D’Amico estuvieron probando en el autódromo “Parque de la Velocidad” de San Jorge con los Renault Clío del equipo Fauro Sport, con el objetivo de acordar sus participaciones para las dos últimas competencias del año, que se realizarán en este escenario y en Bahía Blanca, respectivamente, en clase 2.
Ambos pilotos completaron diez vueltas cada uno, girando en tiempos similares y demostrando que se adaptaron rápidamente a los autos. El marplatense D’Amico giró en 1m 25s 4/10 y Gacé lo hizo en 1m 25s 6/10, registros que sirvieron de parámetros para las pruebas oficiales.
“El auto me gustó y me sentí cómodo. Sólo falta mejorar en algunos aspectos para conseguir una buena puesta a punto, aunque debo reconocer que jamás en este circuito pude trabajar como lo hice hoy con el Gol”, declaró al finalizar su labor D’Amico.
Por su parte, el representante de Murphy, Gacé, indico: “Conocimos el rendimiento del Clío, y cómo trabaja el equipo, por lo que me sentí muy cómodo. Vamos a encarar un buen proyecto, no solo para este año sino que también apostamos al que viene”.
La próxima etapa será ya encarando la actividad oficial, el día viernes 17, para aplicar los primeros trabajos realizados en esta prueba.

A partir de San Jorge, Leonel Larrauri se reincorporará a la clase 3 de Turismo Nacional con el Ford Focus que pertenece Pablo Trave y que es atendido por Alfredo Braca en pista, con el cual planea correr en las dos fechas finales del certamen.
El piloto de Capitán Bermúdez y la escudería de San Martín, estarán llegando al autódromo “Parque de la Velocidad” a mediados de la próxima semana, para realizar un ensayo en la pista de 3.120 metros, con el objetivo de analizar qué puesta a punto deberán utilizar para la competencia.
De acuerdo a lo adelantado por allegados al equipo, la intención de Trave Racing es la de contar con L. Larrauri, también en la próxima temporada, en donde además se sumaría el segundo Focus que tienen en alquiler, por el cual ya recibieron diferentes propuestas de pilotos.

Daniel Stambul, pretendía girar hoy con su Ford Focus en el autódromo “Oscar y Juan Gálvez” de Buenos Aires, pero no lo pudo hacer debido a que el escenario se encuentra cerrado para pruebas por estar alquilado para un evento, situación que motivó la vuelta de todo el equipo al taller para comenzar con los preparativos de la competencia de San Jorge.
Al no reprogramar esta prueba, debido a cuestiones personales, Stambul estará en el trazado santafesino, durante la actividad oficial que comienza el viernes 17, ajustando la puesta a punto de su Focus para conseguir la prestación esperada en esta última parte del año.
Con respecto a 2009, el piloto de San Martín espera un flamante Honda New Civic, que se estará armando próximamente en el taller del equipo Alisi Racing, en Villa Carlos Paz. Ese auto será el que conduzca a partir de la primera fecha del año venidero.

Y una década después, un nuevo Silvente se suma a las huestes del Turismo Nacional. En esta ocasión será Matías, quien cumplirá los mismos pasos de su padre Víctor Hugo, al debutar en la clase 2 con un VW Gol, el cual pertenece al equipo GR Competición y será motorizado por Esteban Pou.
El jóven piloto de Avellaneda, que cuenta con antecedentes en Turismo Pista, en donde compitió en ambas divisiones, conducirá el auto que perteneció oportunamente a Adrián Chiriano, con el cual estará tomando contacto antes de la competencia de San Jorge, el próximo 19 de octubre.

Se formalizó en los últimos días el nuevo equipo que integrarán, a partir de la próxima competencia de San Jorge, en la clase 2 de Turismo Nacional los tucumanos Lucas Mohamed y Martín Rodríguez, y el entrerriano Marcos Luján, quienes estarán conduciendo sus respectivos VW Gol.
Los tres pilotos contarán con la atención en el chasis de Juan Martos, en tanto que Mohamed le proveerá motores desarrollados y preparados en Yerba Buena a su co provinciano Rodríguez; en tanto que Luján continuará utilizando impulsores de Rubén Guerini.

Martín Barrios trabajará junto al equipo CB Motorsport, testeando el funcionamiento del Gol y la potencia de su planta impulsora. Los resultados obtenidos luego de las pruebas llevarán al piloto oriundo de Corrientes a decidir si debuta o no en la próxima fecha de San Jorge.
"Queremos hacer las cosas muy bien, ya que nos debemos a nuestros importantes sponsors. Probaremos el lunes en La Plata y de acuerdo a cómo sean los ensayos iremos a San Jorge. Si todo sale bien, al día siguiente llevaremos el Gol al banco de rodillos de Alberto Crespo, para alcanzar el máximo posible en su performance. La clase menor del TN es muy competitivo y planeamos ingresar con el pie derecho", expresó Barrios.

El test se haría con el Ford Focus que corriera en La Plata Jorge Trebbiani, máquina que utilizaría Rossotti en la próxima fecha de San Jorge, en caso de que decida competir, basando la decisión siempre en el estado físico. En dicho caso, tendrá como siempre la atención del equipo Martos Competición y la motorización de Gustavo Penín.
“Si todo sale bien en las pruebas y me siento bien en lo físico, correré en San Jorge, ya que la mejor forma de retribuirle a todos los que me acompañaron y se preocuparon por mí, a quienes les estoy eternamente agradecido, es volviendo a correr lo antes posible", concluyó Rossotti.

What does it say when your supporters finds it acceptable behavior to tell a television network sound man who is Black to “Move Boy I can’t see”? What does it say about your campaign to attack Joe Biden on the day he is attending his Mother-In-Law’s funeral? You couldn’t have saved that for another day?

Instead of trying to raise doubts why don’t you talk about the issue that’s on everyone minds, the economy? You may believe the fundamentals of the economy are strong, but your handling of it is weak.

You John McCain have essentially put Country Last with evidence of these tactics. Your own campaign advisors that did not want to be identified told the New York Daily News 10/05/08 “If we keep talking about the economic crisis, we’re going to lose.”

Well Mr. McCain that’s exactly what you’re doing. Here’s a hint, it’s the economy stupid.

THE ECONOMY

You were asked an easy question by an audience member. Who would you have as your Secretary of Treasury?

McCain – I knew you wanted to say Phil Gramm, but you knew that wouldn’t play like a one string guitar in Nashville. So you went with Meg Whitman.

Who’s Meg Whitman? Did anyone tell McCain that the company Whitman headed until six months ago, getting badly outmaneuvered by Google (GOOG) and Amazon.com (AMZN) in the process, just announced it is letting go 1,000 employees?

One more thing for John. You keep on saying that you know how to fix the economy, I know how to win a war, and I know how to do everything. If you know how to do fix these things why don’t you do it? Why do you hold it over our head? We have to elect you for you to do these things? Who’s putting country first?

ANOTHER BAILOUT?

John McCain said that he would ask the Treasury Secretary to buy up approximately $300 Billion bad home mortgage loans and renegotiate at the new diminished value of the home. Now correct me if I’m wrong on this, but isn’t the general argument of the Republican Party is why should we give aid to people who unwisely purchased homes they couldn’t afford?

Now I actually can understand and come to an agreement with that argument on many levels. Things do happen; people lose their jobs, love ones get sick, hurricanes causes flooding to their homes that insurance will not pay, etc. I would love to have a multimillion dollar home, but that would be foolish for me to even consider because I wouldn’t be able to pay for it.

So you’re suggesting that we ADD another $300 Billion to the $700 Billion. What was the purpose of the first “Bailout” or “Rescue”?

THE OTHER BAILOUT

I guess Nashville isn’t as exciting as Washington and the other 6 places you call home Sen. McCain. At 10:43 PM CST C-Span informs its audience that John McCain has left the building in efforts to explain why the camera was fixed on Barack & Michelle Obama.

Now I’ve been to the Curb Center at Belmont University and it’s a nice campus that sits in a comfortable and diverse old middle-class neighborhood that is literally in the middle of a lower income neighborhood of Nashville in comparison to its upper income neighborhood of Green Hills. Either way, it’s a cool area of town.

I know it may be pass his normal bedtime, but come on now. You’re running for President, you’ve got to be able to shake more than just a couple hands. Ya boy Fred Thompson was there. I believe he was sitting behind or near Al Gore. You could have said something to my man Harold Ford, Jr. I guess you had more important things to do or people to see.

There’s much more, but I’ll stop for now. I'll rephrase my last question for who won the debate the same answer McCain gave when talking about taxes. That one. That one being Obama.

My mate next door cheers me up he's cool he's gonna make a dayum good bboy one day. His very inspirational too. he will find a way of making fireworks or at least fire out of something in the house.

As for my pain 'management' Ever since I saw the hospital specialist I've been in more pain then ever. Luckily about a month ago I started taking a mushroom supplement called'Ganaderma' and it seems to have relaxed my quite alot I don't really know if it's reducing attacks yet.

My doc has sent me to a new doctor who handles chronic pain so this time I should be out of the woods and living a near ppain free life. I focus on the day I will wake up and feel free from attacks or at least have fewer attacks. That way my mind is focused on the best and ONLY outcome.

The depression well it comes and goes. I think if happy is 10 and sad is 5 Im about 3 most of the time. mainly due to the pain getting in the way of everything I love and enjoy. So even when I am happy (6) I don't have much motivation to get the paints out or clean the dance floor.

My only real help these days medically is tylonol3s (panadeine 30) valium and stillnox. The T3's are ok but no where near the realief I had from Oxycontin (long lasting painkiller). The valium helps my face alot and reduces most anxiety.  And of course because I only sleep 3-4 hours a night Stillnox is the go works every time. Even half a tablet works. The doc said it was better because it's not addictive like Temazepam (but costs 2 dollars a tablet!!! jeeeesh). Well I'm very happy with the stillnox it doesnt leave me with a hangover and lets me drift to sleep as soon as I lie down. I don't even remember nightmares.

I've been trying to paint again lately (stuggling) I think I have the guts to post my pics now so next blog will be some of my works.

I don't know about the experiences others have had in life, but this is what panhandlers typically always start their pitch for money with — "My friend."

Tonight! In Search Of... An Obama plan for the economy. (none found, btw)

- McCain advocates for the government repricing of homes. Hmm.  Can I revalue my home? No, we pay our bills. THIS IS SICK!!!

- McCain hits Obama on Fannie and Freddie.  Is it enough? Not really.

- Obama is doing a lot of "understanding" with everyone.  A 21st century, "I feel your pain" moment.

- Obama talks about his spending cuts?  What specifically are his spending cuts?  Defense?

- McCain says Obama earmarked a 3 million dollar overhead projector?  Crazy.  But is it enough?

- McCain is "reaching across the isle" all night.   Yikes.

- McCain is going to cut defense spending?  Is this his best point?  Why doesn't he bring up the million dollar earmark Michelle Obama received from Barack for her hospital? Come on John!

- Obama brings up the post 9/11 service angle again.  Bush wanted us to shop?  Of course he doesn't think of the brave American men and women who were a part of the SERVICE- the US armed forces.  What a jerk.

- If this debate continues like this Obama will be up 20 points at the end of the week.

- Obama brings up the "sharing the burden" complete nonsense line. Rich people don't pay enough taxes in this country?  This is such deception- the top 5% of earners carry the bulk of the personal tax load in this country.

Y en cuanto a lo aerodinámico, para mí le tendrían que dar el mismo alerón del Ford; con eso, creo que el Torino volvería a los puestos de adelante y por ahí podríamos pensar en quedarnos con la marca".
