Too bad Nagisa, Kyou, Kotomi and Fuko are completely absent from this dimensional episode. As a matter of fact, everyone expect Sunohara has vanished.

Tomoyo has been elected as the student council president and we can immediately start to see the complication of this episode.

Just as Sunohara said, that the president and they are different people in completely different realms and generally do not match. Tomoyo has straight goals that she achieves and Tomoya and Sunahara are lazy bums.

This fact is knows by other students and they cant help but question how in the world they are so close. This also generates rumors.

Unfortunately there are no mobile phones in clannad world. Tomoyo has to make an announcment over the radio (or what ever it is) that she wont be walking home with the duo, and everyone hears the conversation. (I would be soo embaraced)

Focusing out of this for a bit, this picture reminded me of someone....

Going back to where we were now, Tomoyo escapes to see Tomoya (why did they have to name those characters with such incredibly similar names?) in this pedobear costume.

After some talk about how busy she is and how caring he is... The most important moment just had to be interrupted (damn this guy is rude).

In Tomoyas and Tomoyos mind (but mostly Tomoyas) this person appeared at the wrong place at the wrong time. Dragging her away to some presidential duties that she needs to fulfill.

When Sakagami leaves he reminds Tomoya that he is useless person who is slowing her down in achieving her goals. (not only he did not kiss her, he also had to hear this from someone who should be minding his own bisuness)

The damage is done and Okazaki is now left depressed. After thinking about what was said to him he decided to break up with Sakagami. That guy sure has nuked their relationship with relative ease.

The emotional speeches then kick in and they break up (with slow music from piano :'(). It surprised me how Okazaki, despite Sakagamis attempts to save the relationship still declined her. What a selfish guy. She tells him that she loves him and he does not return the feelings back, on top of that he told her that the feelings that he had were not love. In reality this stuff breaks girls hearts apart (depends what kind of girl ;)). That's it for the complication of the episode.

He then cries about something, however the director didn't make it clear as to what (could be that he didn't want to break up, but that contradicts that "no love" feeling that he had).

With emotionally slow music there is a stage of depression now...

(you don't have to ignore each other even if you do not have a relationship)

However to compensate that, Sakagami finally saved those sakura trees and there is a little bit of comedic relive by Sunohara (colours his hair for job interviews).

Okazaki is also looking for a job, to bad this slacker gets denied everywhere he goes.

At the end Sakagami and Okazaki meet on a snowy road (director being clever here decided to set the speed of the snow to slow motion and wash out the colour to set the mood).

She confesses her love to him again but he rattles a bit about the things that they may do in the future.

The whole scene goes for an incredible 6 minutes. Okazaki thinks hes doing her a favor by not getting in her way, but Sakagami loves him and wants to be with him. After emotional drama the scene fades out. We can see that is ends with Tomoyo and Tomoya being together again

I have to say that this is one of my favorite scenes, not for the content, but for the techniques used. Slow motion snow, slow and gentle background music really set such a relaxing scene (word far is repeated a lot, not sure of the purse in the lyrics). Washed out colours make it look very unique on the timeline of the episode (Im sure if there is more reason why the director decided to wash out the colours).

I would have enjoyed this episode a lot more if I would have watched within a small time distance between them. However I have already tuned out from Clannad and to me this drama was a bit lacking in content.

I have to say that I really enjoyed the final song at the end. I dont think I have ever heard anything more relaxing and emotional.

I'm not sure where I heard, however Key has planned this Sakagami/Okazaki relatioship sometime ago and I think they have a novel published. Most content from users that I have read, wanted to futher discover the relationship between Okazaki and Nagisa. Perhaps they will bring some new content soon.

Tomoyo End is better than Nagisa End.

I'm just hear to shout my heart out after I have watched the episode. First off, this has got to be the best Clannad episode I have watched in the 24-episode phenomenal series that it is. Tomoyo's arc is certainly better than Nagisa's. It would've been better if it was explored more than that of Nagisa's. But I guess I understand the fact that Nagisa's arc contains the other world where wishes come true. But certainly, Nagisa's arc wasn't as romantic and as lovely as this!! They're a perfect pair. Amazing how 24 minutes can contain a lot... [I don't know if I will still hear the crying voice of Tomoyo again. So lovely and heart-warming...]

But watching at the first episode makes me just want to shout this with all my strength and all my heart:

I STILL LOVE YOU! YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE...

Maybe we are miles away, time lapses have separated me from you, but Tomoyo does not regard any of it, even after finishing school and achieving her life-long dream of preserving the sakura trees, she still prompted to be with Tomoya. Because, being with the one you love is "a place much higher than what the teachers or any tests will give. It is something you value more than anything".

But alas, that is the anime world. We live in a non-ideal reality where our hearts are not always our guide to what will happen. But I'm sure if you put much effort to it, then you can achieve what the heart longed for. Life sure is hard. But it's even harder if you want it to put things your own way. So by separation (and I mean separation) I guess... That's the way it should be... Acceptance? I have accepted that. Guilt? Not really. I guess I'll just remember that someday, I dated a great person like you.

So, until then...

It was long. A goal that I wouldn't yield over. It's finally been realized. But I lost something in return. I should have been with the person I loved. I love you. Even now, I love you more than before.

Anyway, let's hope the subs are coming out at most 20 hours from now. I'm so excited. This could be a good "introduction" to Clannad ~After Story~ as it ends Clannad.

Another rumor I got somewhere is that there will be a sequel to ~ef~ A Tale of Memories. It's entitled something like ~ef~ A Tale of Melodies.

Words have it that this Clannad ~After Story~, believed to be a 13-episode second season of Clannad (all information still doubtful), will be released next week, 16th of July (this one's sure). Promo commercials have been given out to give a backdrop of what it will contain and it really seems this one will focus on the "other world".

I can't wait to watch this as I have been a huge, huge fan of Clannad myself. ^^, Those who have played Clannad said that this is the best of Clannad. I'll be expecting a lot then. ^^

My Sakura cel arrived today, and I like it better now that I've seen it in person than I did when I saw the auction picture. Unfortunately, even though I've posted a larger scan, you can't really appreciate it -- my scanner is being weird and making Sakura-chan's dress look almost white, even though it's really a darker pink. (Does anybody have any tips - other than getting a less crappy scanner, that is?) 

The color problem is also an issue with the sketch, but it's not so bad.

I'm now waiting for another Cardcaptor Sakura cel that I won yesterday. Sakura-chan is wearing a cute costume with bunny ears, and Tomoyo is filming her exploits.

Dejándome llevar por el montón de comentarios leídos en algunos foros, me di a la tarea de ver “Clannad”; este anime esta basada en un juego de citas, pero sin llegar a mostrar escenas hentai como en la mayoría de estos tipos de juegos.

Trata sobre un chico llamado Tomoya Okazaki, que perdió a su madre aun siendo niño, el shock provoco que su padre se lanzara al vicio del alcohol y se convertirse en un desempleado, lo que los orillo a tener una relación muy mala. Un día yendo hacia la escuela conoce a una chica, Nagisa Furukawa, de personalidad tierna, débil de salud y

con muy poca autoestima, que sin saberlo cambiara el sentido que lleva en su vida (obsesionada con “La familia dango” un programa de TV que transmitían en su niñez).

A lo largo de los 23 capítulos se muestra el desarrollo de los personajes principales a si de cómo los personajes secundarios, cuyas historias son realmente las que impactan sobre la personalidad de los principales. El capitulo 24 no lo he visto, pero por un avance pude observar que es una especie de final alterno.

Bueno. Que me esperaba? El típico shougo arem, lleno de fanservice, y para colmo ñoño (de esos que ni trama tienen), en pocas palabras esperaba una bazofia.

Que me pareció? El inicio del primer capitulo se me hizo muy Kyon (personaje principal de Suzumiya Haruhi no yuutsu), narrando su historia yendo hacia la escuela, con su entorno opaco y para colmo subiendo una colina (que, no se pudieron inventar otra cosa?), luego aparecen dos tipas gemelas de cabellos color morado, una de ellas con el cabello largo y con personalidad agresiva, otra de cabello corto con personalidad loli (no les recuerda un poco a las tipas gemelitas de Lucky Star?); claro que esto debido a que las tres series fueron animadas por KyoAni (para mi que deben cuidarse un poco mas esos detalles).

Pero bueno, quitando estos detalles creo que la cosa mejora, la calidad en la animación es de lo mejor, en algunas ocasiones me hizo reír, en otras llorar, uno que otro capi me aburrió, pero tengo que admitir que fueron pocos; soy una romántica empedernida por lo que tiendo a buscar romance hasta en donde no hay, por lo que esperaba un poco mas de apapacho, aunque fuera al final, pero tampoco fue algo que me hiciera cortarme las venas, ya que en los años que llevo viendo anime, si algo he aprendido es que a los japos casi no se les da esa clase de cosas, igual y en la segunda temporada nos dan un poco de agasajo =), me viese gustado que al personaje de Tomoyo le surgiera un interés por el amigo de Tomoya (ya se que el tipo esta idiota, pero es muy chistoso y ella tiene todo para domarlo jojojo) ; leí que estaba a nivel de “ef ~a tale of memories”, pero en muy mi particular punto de vista “nada que ver”.

Con Clannad me lleve una gran sorpresa ya que me esperaba una cosa horrenda, y la verdad es que esta recomendable y entretenida, seguro te hace pasar un buen rato; pero hasta ahí, yo le doy un 8.0.

Second, there appears to be a Clannad OVA with Tomoyo being the girl who ends up with Tomoya. Is it Tomoyo After? I'm not sure but Shin from Atalude seems to be disappointed.

Finally, something I stumbled across while surfing, a questionable trailer for a series soon to be adapted into an anime. See if it's real yourself.

Questionable audio. Questionable animation. If it's real, Mirai Nikki seems to be off to a horrible start. Pity since the manga was such a good work. Been a while since we had a killer loli running rampant. :(

So that's what the DVD-only episode is going to be! I can rejoice now because its set in an alternate universe where Tomoya's dating Tomoyo. (I'm not saying I hate Nagisa. I'm just saying I prefer Tomoyo as Tomoya's boyfriend) ... the DVD is out July 16th ~

So, I'm still around... and I may actually do something with this site eventually. (I just wouldn't count on it happening anytime soon.) :grin:

I'm waiting for one last cel to arrive. (I know I was planning to cut out unnecessary expenditures, but the circumstances surrounding my financial instability seem a bit less precarious than when I made that decision.)

When I started collecting Cardcaptor Sakura cels, I knew I'd want to have at least one nice cel of Sakura (check), Yue (check) and Tomoyo (missing, until my recent purchase arrives.)

I will undoubtedly keep looking, but I'm happy that I (will soon) finally have cels of all three of my favorite characters from the series.

Of course, purchasing one at local stores is not only limited, but also risky for me due to my inexperience in telling apart bootlegs from originals. And as a lack of luck would have it, I am not about to be able to get Kotobukiya's Tomoyo Sakagami anytime soon. But as unlucky as I am, I had my stroke of luck in meeting a local figure collector who is very well known and even runs a website for selling figures to local collectors. And the result?

Ohsuka Kikaku isn't exactly very famous for figurines, but seeing the initial preview shots, I couldn't help but wonder if perhaps the gamble might be worth it. And well, with the final product in my hands, I can honestly say that I don't regret the decision to do so. Considering the alternative of waiting on end for a rerelease from Kotobukiya, this figurine satiates the Tomoyo fanboy within me very much, especially considering how I prefer the Tomoyo After artwork style as opposed to Clannad's. Obviously a very much more adult version of the Tomoyo from Clannad, with observed growth in all the *right* places.

As you can see, the main highlight of this Tomoyo figurine would be the maid apron, and the lack of any other outer clothing apart from it. The details on the ribbon at the back are very well done and would be flawless save for the mould lines, a somewhat recurring problem throughout the figurine. The sheen of the material is not something you see in any normal maid outfit, which is appreciated considering the original art from which this figure drew its concept from, depicting Tomoyo in the same getup and pose, with the apron being transluscent. Perversion or appreciation of beauty? Saa ne...

Another thing I like about the figure is the hair. The hair around the head is not painted in opaque, rather it is semi-translucent, giving a nice reflective touch to the highlight areas of her head. The lower area of her hair is swept to her right slightly, which gives a dynamic feel to the figurine. From the front, you don't really see the main length of hair, so it looks like she's static, but from behind, it really gives the impression of her in mid-walk, and at a slightly more adjusted angle, she almost seems to turn to face you.

Her knees are quite subtly defined; Ohtsuka Kikaku apparently chose to let the light play on the slight depressions around her knees, and I am definitely impressed by the results. And also, I think it is quite a statement to the boot design when my sister walks in on me during my photo-shoot, and after a quizzical glance at me, proceeds to note "I love her boots." I may not be a shoe appreciator myself, but after her comment, I think I've come to take to heart the detailed work put into Tomoyo's boots.

The base is a two-part peg setup. One of it is for direct attaching to Tomoyo's heels, and the other is for the initial base to be pegged into. This allows for a rotating base, which can be quite handy. The design is simple, no frills or decorations.

So after all that I've said and done, how do I feel about the figure? Well, obviously I've been happy so far to have her as a first figurine, but it also comes with a painful lesson; when figure collectors treat their collection with utmost care, they really do mean with UTMOST care. It borders on heartbreaking levels to see the scratches on the drinks tray (visible in the apron and gloves shot), due to my negligence of handling the detachable disk. Another major issue is leaning. Being a figure on both legs, I initially expected her not to lean, but after seeing her out of the box, I feared that leaning forward would be a major issue for her, which I was soon proven to be right. Luckily, rectification measures from HappySoda prevented the issue from wrecking my first purchase. Tomoyo now stands on her base which is tilted up to compensate for the leaning, and so far, so good.

Well, this is my first photoshoot for figurines, and I have to admit, the quality is quite sub-par, but I'm working with what I have right now, and that means using a ceiling lamp for hairlight, so... Kinda meh. I hope that I can get around to a better photoshoot. Especially disappointed with the shadows on the background. *Sigh*

SPOILERS AHEAD!

For the two anime, these are my thoughts:

Clannad:

• I wish I had known the titles of the songs inserted within scenes as well as the beautiful, kawaii piano scores. ^^
• I thought the ending was great, without having to sacrifice the fact that there were lots of questions that needed answers in the pre-ending episode moments. But despite that, a lot of questions still remain in me.
• Will the distance remain between Tomoya and his father?
• Absolutely taking aside the movie, will Nagisa and Tomoya end up together, as in, with a child that is in the bleak world?
• Did Fuko actually died? Or reunited?
• Did Nagisa actually realized that the dream their parents had ended was continued by her?
• I just hope Kyou, Ryou, and Tomoyo gets to find someone for them as well.^^, I'm taking Kitomi for that matter. ^^
• Where did the story of Nagisa's play originated? Yes it is the future of Tomoya but where did she grabbed the idea from?
• Some characters, I believe, should have role-played more on the story. e.g. Youhei, the library gal..
• A must watch anime if you're looking for really hilarious scenes and dramatic ones.
• 10/10

H2O: ~Footprints in the Sand~:

• The better of the two mentioned, character-wise, plot-wise, ending-wise, wise.... Anything. Absolutely wonderful.
• Amazing sakuga. Not to mention that Clannad has a very kawaii sakuga too.
• The plot left behind an empty space in the final episode which puts the viewers into thinking what REALLY happened.
• Makes you really feel attached to the story.
• A very good ending nonetheless. Unexpected one.
• A must watch too! Really touching, soulful. Great job on this one.
• Hirose x Hayami is probably the MOST deserved and the best pair ever.^^
• Left me with some questions too:
• Who was that new village elder?
• Will Otoha remain with Hirose x Hayami?
• I'd like to believe that Hayami really did not die in the last scene, but was rather at the rear end of the tracks when the train passed by, hence, still alive in the ending moments of the anime. But what really happened?
• I HATE HOTARU/HINATA'S GRANDFATHER SO MUCH I WANT HIM TO BE THE ONE SHOT WITH THE TWO RIFLES AND AFTER THAT, RAMMED DOWN BY A TRAIN. *curses*
• Simply 10/10.

It says in some reviews that it has 22 episodes in the main story, 1 episode for the side story and 1 episode for I think OVA which will be released in July, so overall, 24 episodes for this series. What I'm waiting now is for the last episode of the main story which will be released 5 days from now! I CAN'T WAIT TO KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN! SO SAD really.... ='(

Damn this last scene makes me really watch the next episode real soon now.

To all those who want to watch it, there's also a release movie in the same title, Clannad the Movie, but the producers are different. Not all the characters in the series are in the movie and I think it has a different ending, though I haven't watched the movie yet and the anime ending hasn't been released yet. I HOPE IT ENDS WELL... Sigh.. ='( *sniff*

Before Tomoyo´s arc started, I used to treat Clannad as an good sleeping pill. One episode before going to bed made me so drowsy I almost zoned out when I was still watching the episode. Clannad isn´t a bad show, it has some great characters, but plot is too slow which makes it boring most of the time.

After Fuuko´s arc, which I loved, Clannad became pain to watch. Boring characters like Kotomi were a real turn-offs and I started to avoid the series. Watching new episode wasn´t tempting and I was very close to drop Clannad. But one night when I had the same feelings of dislike as usually, I had a sudden enlightenment in the form of Tomoyo. Her cuteness which is born from her strong but caring personality attracted me and I was charmed by Clannad again. Bye-bye sleeping pill effect, welcome interesting character development.

Besides Tomoyo, I also like Nagisa and Fuuko. I can´t stand Fujibayashi twins. Ryou is sometimes okay, but Kyou makes my blood boil. She´s too jealous when other girls approach Okazaki and she´s two-faced. Every time Kyou argues with Tomoyo, she pisses me off more and more. I might be biased because I´m Tomoyo and Nagisa fangirl, but Kyou´s character type is one of those I hate the most. She plays like she wants to hook up Ryou and Okazaki, but truly she wants Okazaki for herself. End of episode 18 made me chuckle.

Clannad is strange series to me, because my favourite pairing is actually straight one. That´s rare! I support Okazaki/Nagisa from my heart, they match perfectly by supporting each other when needed. I would have thought that my favourite couple might be something like Okazaki/Sunohara or Nagisa/Ryou but no~~, it´s straight pairing which I think is the cutest. O_O Maybe Okazaki´s weird sense of humor and Nagisa´s naivety dazzled me and made me stray from my usual habits. But as long as they stay so sweet as they are now, I don´t care what caused my liking.

Es un glotón que gusta de comer dulces a montón y de jugar video juegos en la televisión de Sakura.
A veces es muy presumido y dice que su forma natural "puede impresionar a cualquiera" y es verdad pues es un imponente león dorado con armadura pero sin melena y con unas grandiosas alas de plumas blancas.
Desde que la niña comenzó a campturar la Cartas, Kero-chan (apodo puesto por Sakura y Tomoyo ya que dicen que "su forma no coincide con su nombre")ha estado con ella en todo momento, ayudando a Sakura en cada situación difícil y dando consejo sobre las traviesas Cartas Clow, y por lo tanto le tiene un gran cariño.

First, I think Ogiue is totally deserving of it. I believe her to be one of the most unbelievably complete and well-rounded characters in anime and manga. Actually, this applies to pretty much every other Genshiken character as well. What puts her above the rest is that she's attractive to me.

Aside from that, however, is the fact that I have a tendency to carry long-term obsessions with characters in general, and it just manifests itself most strongly with Ogiue. Maetel, Tomoyo, Eureka, Cagalli, Hinata, in many, many cases once a character manages to catch my eye, they never quite leave. Some have faded a bit over time (Filia from Slayers TRY for example), but for the most part the strong presences of my past are not overridden by the strong characters of the present.

The real question, then, is why exactly am I able to obsess over characters for significantly longer periods of time compared to some of my peers? One possibility is that I form what feels like an emotional bond with the characters such that even if the quality of the character is not as great as I imagine, even if they turn out to be fairly big cliches, my memories of fondness for the characters are much stronger than objective reasoning. If they are indeed strong characters with strong emotions, such as Eureka, then that connection becomes much stronger and much longer-lasting. That said, I don't think I'm all that susceptible to pandering fanservice characters (no matter what type of fanservice it may be), but there are always a few. I don't call them guilty pleasures because they never really are.

I don't think all that many people actually just cast their preferred characters aside when a new season starts, and the primary difference between me and some friends becomes how we display our passion for anime and its characters. Anyone who knows me knows that I've stuck with the Ogiue paraphernalia (avatars, name tags, this blog) for quite a while. It's the public display that is more important. New, strong characters appear every season, but I stick with Ogiue.

Maybe it's just how I want people to think of me, but I feel more like I'm compelled to do so, because she is that strong of a character.

Ohayo Tomoyo

Ep17 was a nice and welcome sidetrack from the usual loliesque girls Tomoya has been around with for about 80 percent of his time. But I'm biased. I always liked Kyou and Tomoyo more so than the likes of Nagisa (boring) and Fuuko (loli). Kotomi is interesting but she's really the girl central to the memory device technique overly used in Kanon, the predecessor to Clannad. Also, she's Mai's replacement. Weird personality but starts to show her hidden self when faced with a problem she has tried to enclose within her heart? It fits. I know Tomoya is probably going to end up with Nagisa but I can't help rooting for Kyou or Tomoyo. They're like Rin and Saber from Fate/Stay Night.

Nevertheless, it's consolation to know that there was a Clannad sequel of sorts made with Tomoyo as the central love interest and title character.

They don't show it, but it's a kick to the groin.

At this point, it is fitting to reiterate that while Clannad has only a couple of male characters (one of which is pretty insignificant on the surface) and 5 main female leads, it's not your average harem anime with bad excuses to parade exorbitant fanservice. It's more emotionally expansive and permeates the viewer on a deeper level. The plot doesn't focus on why one guy can't choose from a plethora of girls fawning over him.

Still, the locker room scene caused heightened excitement levels across the otaku world. Not that it's a bad thing. Clannad needs more Kyou!

Yes I do!

From the title of this post, I suppose you can roughly guess that I'm definitely not a Kyou fan. If that's what you think, then you're only 50% correct. The truth is, I hate her to the core, just like how I hate Yuasa Hiromi for being a bitch.

For quite a long period of time, Clannad has yet to leave me with any big impression, but it had successfully done so with episode 18.

I believe this is one episode which most people will either hate to the core or love 100%-ly. For me, it's actually a mixture of the two. Sorry to anger any Kyou and Ryou fans here, but I still have to say that I just can't stand them bitching around Tomoya trying to steal his affections from Nagisa and Tomoyo. I rather see Tomoya end up with Fuko than to let either Kyou or Ryou get him. Though Kyou is a rather popular Tsundere, I would still rather watch Nagisa and Fuko bicker over whether the Dango Daikazoku or the starfish is better than to sleep with a Kyou daikimura.

Seeing this 3 seconds later made me jump up for joy!

I suppose this is where the story of Kyou and Ryou will end? They have already fulfilled the necessary conditions for a Key character to end her story:

1) They have cried.

2) They have left a deep and lasting impression on the viewers. (Yes, indeed!)

I sure hope the story won't focus on them anymore so that there could be more episodes left for the Tomoyo After story. I would definitely love to see more of Tomoyo and Nagisa! They're by far my favourite Clannad characters of all.

The elegance of Tomoyo. Learn from her, Kyou and Ryou!

Just look at how elegant Tomoyo was after knowing that the guy whom she likes already had feelings for another girl. As expected of Tomoyo! At least she didn't create a scene and cry like some girls as if they got kissed by Sunohara. This, to me, is why Tomoyo > Kyou + Ryou.

The happy family of Tomoyo, though it bored me to death. 

After getting excited over the tears of Kyou and Ryou, I've to say that I'm actually quite disappointed over Tomoyo's life story. I believe we've already seen countless times of those kinds of scenes in other animes. In a nutshell, the story can be summarized as such: The parents were quarrelling and because of an interference by their child, the family was restored. Trust Key to come up with such cheap plot for Tomoyo!

Tomoyo is definitely one of the major and most popular characters in Clannad and to end her life story in just one single episode is a huge failure! I expected it to last for around three or four episodes like Kotomi's but it was rather disappointing to see it end in a blink of an eye. It wasn't heart wrenching and emotional at all and in fact, it was pretty boring, at least to me.

I just hope that the next six episodes of Clannad would be able to tie up all loose ends and deliver us a wonderful and complete Clannad. Still, I won't mind if KyoAni repeats what they did for Air. It would be great for Clannad to have a few extra episodes depicting the Tomoyo After story. 24 episodes just ain't enough to satisfy us Clannad fans!

Synopsis:
The choir club has found a way to share Koumura with the theater club, but Nagisa finds that their solution is not possible when she tries to propose the plan to the student souncil. Shortly after leaving Nagisa collapses in the hallway. She is actually sick so Tomoya and the girls take her home. Sanae and Akio thank the group for their help, but as they're walking away Tomoys can't stop thinking about how he couldn't do anything. The next morning, Tomoya is awoken by Tomoyo which greatly shocks Tomoya. Tomoyo mentions that his father let him in which does nothing but trouble Tomoya. Tomoya ends up being dragged to school by Tomoyo. Tomoya questions why he's the only one being forced to school when there are others who are late often like him. The two head over to Sunohara's place who is even more shocked to find Tomoyo waking him then Tomoya. The three eventually make it to school after a little dilemma at Sunohara's place.

After Tomoyo says her leaves Tomoya is approached by Kyou. Tomoya is later enjoying lunch with the Fujibayashi twins which was handmade by Kyou. Everyone including Botan finds the food delicious and Kyou takes this chance to push Tomoya closer to Ryou. The three have a small discussion about their futures where Kyou reveals she wants to be a kindergarten teacher and Ryou is planning to go to nursing school. Tomoya leaves the two after their conversation, and Kyou tells Ryou that she should be more assertive. However, Ryou believes that would be bad for Nagisa, but Kyou reminds her that Tomoya isn't going out with her. While leaving school Sunohara is wondering whether it's true that Tomoya isn't going out with Nagisa. Tomoya is stating that he doesn't plan to have a girlfriend when Tomoyo pops up and questions why. After Tomoya gives his reasons, Tomoyo suggests that they go home together. Tomoya is asking why he has to go home with her when Sunohara cuts in saying that they should go home together. Tomoyo questions why Sunohara is coming along and he states that he and Tomoya are always together. As the three head off Kyou expresses her disappointment in Tomoyo getting to Tomoya first from some distance away.

Sunohara leads Tomoya and Tomoyo through a street with people from Tomoyo's old school. All of the guys here fear Tomoyo and run away at the sight of her. Tomoyo expresses her dislike for this area because of her past, so Tomoya stops Sunohara's plan by showing the two a coffee shop. Tomoya also arranges things so that Sunohara and Tomoyo are now friends. Tomoyo later expresses her appreciation to Tomoya as he was trying to help her. She expresses how much fun she has had with him and promises to see him tomorrow before she leaves. Tomoya is later wandering past Nagisa's house that night, but he puts on a face of disappointment before walking away. The next day Tomoya is once again woken up by Tomoyo who states that she intends to do this everyday. The two then arrive at Sunohara's house to wake him up. Today there is an even bigger mishap than the previous day which results in Sunohara being kicked several times.

Tomoya is again going to eat lunch with the Fujibayashi twins but today Ryou made the food. However before the group can start eating Botan steals an omelet and shows the group the poor state of the food. Ryou is later apologizing when Botan finally wakes up. Kyou takes this chance to leave Ryou alone with Tomoya, but this only causes an awkward situation between the two. Later, alone in the clubroom Tomoya is unable to think about anything besides Nagisa. He later visits Yukine who has a prediction game she wants him to play. After being unable to be convinced of the games effectiveness Tomoya questions Yukine about what she thinks about the school council. Yukine believes that the Council would be able to function more effectively and achieve more under a new leadership. This brings up the topic of the upcoming student council president elections. Remembering that Tomoyo is a candidate, Tomoya believes that Nagisa will return to find good news.

In the midst of his thought Tomoya finds a ball rolling towards him. Kyou is actually putting some balls away and forces Tomoya to help her. The two however are accidentally locked into the locker by Mitsui who happens to be passing by. Tomoya remembering Yukine's previous prediction immediately appoligizes for doubting its effectiveness. Kyou however takes this the wrong way and misunderstands everything that Tomoya says and believes, that Tomoya has some ill intentions. Kyou then reveals her obvious plan to get Tomoya together with Ryou. Tomoya makes the situation worse in his panic by removing his shirt. However the two are interrupted by another student who opens the door looking for Kyou. Tomoya later explains himself to Kyou properly, and right after Kyou leaves Tomoyo appears so she can walk home with Tomoya again.

As they walk Tomoya begins to Question Tomoyo about her student council position, but they are interrupted when they reach the gates by the thugs from the previous day. They have come for revenge against Tomoyo, but as Tomoyo begins to confront them Fuuko appears again. Fuuko claims that she has a special technique to deal with all of them. She waves her wooden caving in a circle while saying "Starfish HEAT!!!". This obviously does nothing to disperse the thugs so Fuuko goes on to reveal that she has actually hidden a bunch of starfish carvings around the place. She assures everyone that there is enough for everyone and states that she would like to see everyone work hard to find them and gives the start signal. Fuuko is shocked to see nobody moving and asks if she can leave yet. After Fuuko is gone Sunohara shows up to help. Tomoyo howeverdoes not allow him to fight and kicks him in order to knock him out. The fight starts between Tomoyo, Tomoya and the thugs but the confrontation is broken up by some teachers. Tomoya takes all the blame for the fight before Tomoyo can say anything as to not ruin her chance in the election, making Tomoyo put on a face of concern.

Thoughts:
I found this episode really fun to watch. I found myself smiling through the entire Kyou locker scene which I'm sure you all will too. Being a Tomoyo and Kyou fan I was really glad to see their development this episode. I'm not sure about the Kyou scenes but the Tomoyo scenes were pretty much identical to what happened in the game. Fuuko's appearance this episode was also probably my favourite so far. I'm really looking forward to the next few episodes as it looks like there'll be more Tomoyo development from the preview. I also look forward to see who Kyoto Animation wraps the series up.
