O Toontown é um game online totalmente produzido pela Dysney, repleto de personagens e características muito conhecidas entre todos. Nele, você poderá criar um personagem novo para derrotar o mau que assola a cidade dos desenhos.

Como instalar

Antes de tudo, é necessário que você efetue um rápido cadastro no site do game, permitindo que você o acesse posteriormente. Depois disso, baixe o jogo e aguarde sua instalação, que pode demorar um pouco dependendo da capacidade da sua conexão.

Ao executá-lo e entrar com seu login e senha, será possível começar a criar o seu personagem. Primeiramente, clique na Minnie, caso queira que seu personagem seja menina, ou no Mickey, se for um menino.

Depois, defina a aparência do seu bichinho. Ele pode ser um rato como o Mickey, um coelho semelhante ao Pernalonga ou assumir diversas formas de animais conhecidos entre o mundo dos desenhos animados.

É possível escolher a cor dele e diversos tipos de rostos e corpos, como um mais gordo ou magro. As últimas configurações remetem às roupas que ele vai usar e sua cor, finalizando a criação do animal com o seu nome.

Mundo dos desenhos

Depois de criar seu personagem, você estará pronto para entrar no mundo do jogo. Ao começar, você será levado a um cachorro muito semelhante ao Pateta, que vai lhe contar um breve resumo da história do game.

Ele dirá que os desenhos viviam tranquilamente na cidade, até que seres robóticos passaram a destruir algumas de suas casas para criar empresas capitalistas cujo único objetivo era gerar lucros dentro da cidade, o que está amedrontando a todos.

O cão conta ainda que a tarefa dos desenhos é criar um modo de deter esses seres maléficos, e a melhor forma de fazer isso é através de algo engraçado, como brincadeiras humilhantes e divertidas, menos para eles, é claro.

A partir deste momento, um robô passa na frente da loja do cachorro, cabendo a você sair e completar sua primeira missão. Controle seu personagem através das setas do teclado, pulando com a barra de espaço.

Ao se deparar com o adversário, você terá a disposição duas brincadeiras para lançar sobre ele. A primeira é a famosa tortada na cara, humilhando o adversário. Há, ainda, uma arma de jatos de água, capaz de finalizar o inimigo.

Outras possibilidades

Depois que passar esta etapa, vá para outras partes da cidade e conheça os mini-games presentes, que são inúmeros. Na versão gratuita, é possível se comunicar com gestos e frases prontas, que podem ser escolhidas através do mouse.

O game permite diversas possibilidades, cabendo a você explorá-lo, encontrando novas tarefas e desafios. Seu nível de dificuldade é aparentemente fácil, valendo lembrar que o jogo é para praticamente todas as idades.

Today I found a really cool club penguin cheat. You can change the name of your penguin.  To do this cheat, you just need to have a penguin with either the letter i, e, s, u, or c. Then you can copy one of the letters below, to use for your name. You can use as many as you want to put in your name.

10. Ỳ

For more characters, go to “Start”, click on run, and type in charmap. It will show you a bunch of different characters that you may be able to use for your penguins name.

Ok here are the locations of the boats! If your in the process of finding the boats and you log out than you will LOSE YOUR PROCESS!

The new release of the aqua grabber game came out. Here is what it looks like when you play.

This is a map where you play. You can choose up to clam waters or Soda seas.

When you play Soda seas the water changes to purple here is what it looks like

Cheats

1. Collect the pearls among the small clams, black pearls are worth extra.

   

2. Get the big pearl at the end by switching it with the pearl shaped rock. This is on the right side of the bottom of aqua grabber, opposite of the giant clam.

   

3. Here is where you replace it, if you don’t drop the rock in first, the clam will eat you.

   

You are now done with the level, in those 3 easy steps. Use the openings with no water to restore your tank from loosing.

I am still working on the impossible 2nd level, but here’s a quick guide.

1. You must pick up the kegs of cream soda and return them to the net, this will clear the water and liven the plants.



2. Find the kegs you can get, and save the ones with plants in front of them for later.
3. Once you have enough kegs already cleared, the plants will be able to move out of the way when you get near them.

There are four “new” backgrounds in the catalog. Three of them are old ones that have returned. One is brand new. Nonmembers can buy these too.

Last but not least, Rockhopper’s ship, The Migrator, is visible in the Telescope at the Beacon again.

I consider this bad UX because a) I really never do automatic withdrawals, so they really must have hidden the option (defaulted to "Yes! take my money!") pretty well, and b) as a corporation, it's stupid, because of the cost involved in dealing with all the people who call bullshit on that and ask for their money back. There's the support call, plus whatever costs are associated with returning the money, including people resources and actual transaction costs. Maybe they make it back in float. After all, it's going to be 6 working days before I get my cash back.

All my animosity toward Symantec turned around, however, during the second really excellent (probably offshored) tech support interaction I can recall in my lifetime*. All websites try to hide the link or email address for support. You can't really blame them. If you'd just read the FAQs, you might just find your answer. After I found the link to a support online chat and completed a form to identify myself, the chat widget informed me that I was 54th in line.

Now, at this point, you'd think I'd be pissed: 54th!! But happily, I'm rocking the dual monitors and just kept surfingworking during the 30-ish minute wait. Eventually Sudeep The Support Guy joined me, and with a minimum of fuss did whatever magic necessary to refund my money. I didn't have to grovel or bitch or anything!

BUT HERE'S THE BEST PART: Sudeep flattered me. He made me feel very good about my excellent complaining skillz. (Yeah, yeah. I know he sucks up to all the girls.) I have a screen cap (below). Since this was the best thing that's happened to me so far today, I flattered him back and even gave him a smiley. I'm sure he made a screen cap too. When was the last time you had such a good user experience in the support domain? Yep, we're all eating rainbows and farting butterflies today! 

*If you've read this far, you must be DEAD bored today and have absolutely nothing else to do besides read about the FIRST good support experience I had, coincidentally enough, just last week, and also involving automatic withdrawals from my bank account. OK, so I LIED about never ever authorizing auto withdrawals. Sue me. I was forced into auto withdrawal when my son joined ToonTown years ago. They insist on reaching in and grabbing $9.95/mo for him to play innocent Disney MMORPGs. ToonTown is the gateway drug for future online gaming addicts. I got to speak to an actual human who I believe was actually in America, which is notable only for its rarity. HERE's where it gets amusing: she could not for the Disney life of her understand that I wanted to discontinue ToonTown because my son had grown out of it. How could anybody grow out of frolicking with Piggledy Miggledorf? I had to convince her that his tastes now run more to blowing people's heads off for fun and profit in WOW and Call of Duty. She still didn't get it ("HE's GROWING UP!" I insisted). But she very nicely stopped the auto-withdrawal madness anyhow. See? There is good customer support out there.

Here is a sneak peek of a new level addition from Club Penguin. It has to do with an exisitng game from Club Penguin.

The new newspaper came out. It talked about the Music jam party which is happening tomorrow.

In one section of the newspaper we have some rules to follow. And looks like the Backstage Pass might be a free item available at the party. Here are the rules:

Also at the party there will be different stages of music located at different parts of the island. Here is a schedule and lay out of where everything is going to be.

Club Penguin added another update to member igloos on the map. Now instead of only seeing igloos, you can also use a list to scroll through all the igloos. The list is also in alphabetical order.
