Sorry for the belated review. I've been distracted. By Haruhi. Zoos. Work etc.

This episode focused on the rather busty bunny girl, pictured here;

who goes by the name Shirley-san to friends, Charlotte Yeager is her proper name. The 16 year old American girl broke the sound barrier on the ground, and is now trying to do so in the air with her Striker Unit. This episode is very oppai/eye heavy.

The episode begins with Yoshika dreaming about something...

[caption id="attachment_517" align="aligncenter" width="450" caption="Just what could it be?"][/caption]
[caption id="attachment_518" align="aligncenter" width="450" caption="Who do these boobs belong to I wonder?"][/caption]
[caption id="attachment_519" align="aligncenter" width="450" caption="Lynette!!"][/caption]

It seems I predicted right by saying there would be yuri-action...

[caption id="attachment_520" align="aligncenter" width="450" caption="Yoshika's getting a bit handsy..."][/caption]

:sigh: Anyways, after Yoshika's dirty dream and Yoshika doing something else...(you will have to watch to find out what :grin:), the girls are told about a trip to the beach. Which Yoshika assumes is leisure. Unfortunately for her, it ain't. Her and Lynette must TRAIN, to make sure they don't sink when they fall in the sea with their striker units on. (Heavy machinery strapped to legs=sinking lol) But before that they are instructed to go and tell Yeager about the trip. (She's in the hanger touching up her strike unit to make it go faster.) We get some background info on Shirley before heading to the beach. Where, other than tiny bikini's, a Neuroi is bound to show up. It's very formulaic, but I dont really mind. I thought I might be bored of them by now, but I am not.

[caption id="attachment_521" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="Teeny-bikini."][/caption]

I cant wait to find out more about these two. I think they might be next episode...

After the Neuroi is sighted, Yeager sets off, followed by the much slower Yoshika and Lynette, who keep getting blown back by the backdraft of Shirley-san.

[caption id="attachment_524" align="aligncenter" width="300" caption="As you can expect, flying in bikinis isnt very supportive."][/caption]

Because of something that happens earlier in the episode,(watch to find out, I'm not spoiling everything!) Shirley gets faster and faster, faster than ever before. And well, she kinda flies straight through the Neuroi. Causing it to explode! And for her to lose her clothes, what little she was wearing anyway... lol. And then comes the funniest moment of he episode I think. Yoshika being a perv again.

[caption id="attachment_525" align="aligncenter" width="450" caption="lol"][/caption]

See!! Lesbians! What did I tells ya?! And I bet those two pale two pale-haired gals are a bit of the yuri-pursuasion too lol. We shall see!!! The latest episode was good. A bit too much fanservice for my liking really, but when a character with boobs that big is introduced its kinda expected lol.

A bit about the op/ed today. The op, titled 'To do what I can', is by Yoko Ishida, who I didnt realise did the Sugar Baby Love remake(Forgotten the animes name... Snow: A little Sugar Fairy? Sugar: The Little Snow Fairy? Either way, character designs were by Koge Donbo of Pitaten and Digi Charat fame!) And the Towa no Hana track from Ai Yori Yoshi. AND White Destiny, the op for Pretear.

The ed is apparantly sung by the Strike Witches themselves, which I really didnt notice. (Found this out on the wiki page.) Two different girls sing a duet each week. I went back and listened to them all, and by jove its not wrong! I haven't picked my favourite yet though...

Thats is for this week. More Strike Witches next week!!

Strike Witches(ストライクウィッチーズ) is an animation production by Gonzo and it first aired on the 3rd of July 2008. There are 13 episodes available and its running time is half an hour for each episode. The opening is called "STRIKE WITCHES" just like the title of the show by Yoko Ishida while the ending is called "Bukkumaaku A-Heddo". It's about a team of girls who use magic-powered aircraft to fight their archnemesis, the Neuroi.

Ending - "Bukkumaaku A・Heddo"

Thoughts:

As you can see, it's an anime full of soft-ecchi most of them are panty shots. Majority of the females in the show do not wear pants. It was said that the reason of not wearing pants was that they needed to be able to jump into the Striker Units quickly. Ok, that's quite reasonable but how about the students and even the lunch lady?? In the actual show, every girls do not wear pants. This is unexpected from Gonzo.

The Striker Units look pretty lame to me compare to Code Geass Knightmares. But, I'll give the show a chance. Who knows, maybe it's going to be entertaining. I guess this anime filled with fan service are for mecha obsessed otaku. So basically it's an anime about flying lolis with ears and tails killing the bad guy. I say, the show would be better if it's more serious and the pantie-only rule kinda bothers me and also it filled up the episode. (They're having a skirt shortage because of the war.)

Oh~ and I also found a comment that really cracked me up.

Wow anime is known for its short skirts but these guys just got rid of them all together wow.

**List updated!!**

*Also, for those waiting for a contest, it will be a "guess that song" contest appearing <strike>today or tomorrow hopefully </strike>next entry. So sorry ;3;**

Hi~! Hiiiii~!
I'm in such a hippy poppy pappity mood. :'D I had a wonderful weekend~! *Smilesmilesmile suffocates people with her smiles*

As I mentioned last entry, I attended my first party this weekend. Oh my... ;;;
Many people there said it was a really bad, boring party, but I thought it was very fun. ;w; (Because I'm a n00b to the whole party thing.)
It was very scary at some times, though. I was invited by Becki - the girl who I forced myself to go bowling with back in Novemberish- and who was someone I knew at my old school in town. So, there was lots of people from my old school there at the party, as well.

The amazing thing was, I actually talked to them. Like a normal person.
The sad part was, it was because I drank a 26er of Sour puss that night. T///A///T;;;;;
(And I'm not saying this to seem like a tank, but I really wasn't that drunk even though I drank that much.)

Now, I'm not exaggerating this, and I've been told this by more than a few people now - I'm actually a pretty normal person when I've been drinking. ;__; It's so sad, that I have to depend on alcohol to talk to people like a normal human being-! ;;; Rather than stuttering like, "Uhmm, err, ah.. yeah.." ....//////;

*HEADDESK*..............

But, the party was a very different atmosphere to me, because there was loud music, people smoking everywhere, people puking, and also, i was pretty much all alone. There was no Ichi to cling on to. It was a different experience really, doing something that had even a tiny impact and Ichi not being involved in it. I think I have a koibito-complex... ;;;; (He told me this once... ;;;;)
I mean, a girl from my old school even randomly pulled me up to dance with her. D__D; Thank god there was only 10 seconds left of the song before she pulled me up, because I really looked completely ridiculous... T//~//T;;

After the party, my parents left to Florida for a few weeks, so Ichi stayed at my place. I'm pretty sure my mom has a hunch though, because he was trying to make me laugh when I was on the phone with her... T___T;;; <---Is a bad girl.
I feel pretty bad though, because we ended up crashing in my parents bed, because mine was too small. ;;; Ohh, I'M SUCH AN EVIL DAUGHTERRR. //////;;;;

The next morning, I woke up and made eggs and toast for the both of us, and we ate in bed. :D
It was a splendid weekend~! *///* My mom's bed is even set in front of a window where you can see the whole town. ;;;; And there's beautiful blind folds, too. It was incredibly, romantically cornyrific. ;//3//;
We spent the rest of the day lazing around the house and looking up weird stuff on the computer. We even spent an hour uploading music, which you can find in the music dump! X'D
And today - Monday - was great too, because it ended up being a snow day. ://D

Anyway, that's all I have to say for now. :'3 Unfortunately, the next update mightbe in the latest of two weeks... D: But,maybe I'll try to go to a internet cafe or something... yes... an internet cafe! :D

KOKIA - Ave Maria
|| 4:13 || latin || opera ||

comments: This song originated from the 18th century French composer Charles Gonoud, and I think (from what I know) it's widely known because of the Godfather series. ^^; But, it was based on the harmony/texture of on of Bach's pieces. It's incredddible! ;__; I think I'd be into a lot of opera if they had more captivating melodies such as these, and not full of high notes all the time... e-er, anyone know any good opera songs? Anyway, as I mentioned before, KOKIA can pull of some incredible opera. :'D And it doesn't sound like silly opera, either, nor is it piercing to your ears - it's a very soft, soothing melody. One thing I really like about it though, is that it sounds very sad. A lot of emotion in the song. Recommended! :D
comments: Some people requested some J-rock, so, I'm posting some Miyavi. <3 He's my favorite J-rocker there is, I think. To me, most J-rockers either A.) Can't sing or B.) Sound just like everybody else. I even listened to some Antique Cafe(??), and seeing how they were cute and popular and all that, I thought I'd like them, but I really didn't. I guess I like more of the pop-edge stuff... anyway, enough of my rambling. This was my first Miyavi song, and to this day it's still a favorite of mine. I never found out what he was saying during the chorus, but it never sounded either Japanese or English to me, so it had a very cool edge. :'D It's very hard rock, and there are some screamo in some places too, if screamo doesn't turn you off.
Note: So, as I mentioned in my post, Ichi came over, so we got bored and started uploading music. I picked some and he picked some. Most people should know the kind of music I like, which ranges from Shiina Ringo to Ai Otsuka. J-pop goodness. Ichi's kind of music is more J-rock, and then a few very very cute songs or ballads now and then. ^u^-
